Rented a property from them for over a year. Quick response time for any issues or repairs needed. Nice people to deal with and very fair.

Brenda Geraci – Keller Williams College Park - Closed a home for this buyer in Covina December 2014

Brenda Geraci – Keller Williams College Park

I'm convinced that Brenda Geraci is the best real estate agent in Covina! We were somewhat in a…read morebind. My mother's health was ailing, and we needed to get her into an assisted living home ASAP. To do so, we needed to sell her house. It was November (with December rapidly approaching), and time was of the essence. I researched the top agents in the Covina area. Narrowed it down to the top 3 and interviewed the top two over the course of two days. We chose Brenda based on her professionalism, warm demeanor, and market knowledge. We hired Brenda on a Monday, she had the photographer at my mom's house on Tuesday, listed her house on Wednesday, and we received our first offer on Friday. We allowed realtors/potential buyers to view her house over the weekend and accepted an offer on Monday. The craziest part about it was that Brenda's daughter was getting married that same Saturday we allowed agents/buyers in. She didn't skip a beat. It was miraculous! This was the first time I've ever sold a home, so I was very nervous. Though she had her own distractions in life, she didn't break stride. Brenda held my hand throughout the entire process and ensured my mom was taken care of as well (giving us referrals for movers, cleaners, etc.). If you're like me, over-researching realtors, STOP. Save yourself the time and go with Brenda!

We reached out to her once we were ready to start the home process and she connected us with a lender. We went to showings with her and she was very knowledgeable and doesn't pressure you with anything. She is so fast and multitasks so well (sometimes I don't know how she is so quick) lol. She is honest and straight up - in a good way! She also has a lot of connections which is very helpful. Especially for first time home buyers who may not have any contacts - which was us. Thank you so much Brenda!! We truly appreciate all your help!

Let me start off by saying, me and my wife hand picked Joel based off of his amazing Yelp reviews,…read moremaybe that was our mistake. We reached out to him with a few places that we wanted to see. He got back to us in a timely manner and told us there were no showings yet for some of the homes. We sent him some more that we wanted to see, and Sunday was our first time meeting him in person. We met him at a new construction build, and me and my wife were pretty excited. Yes, we were three minutes late, we can take responsibility for that. We got out the car and approached Joel, who was waiting by the front. Mind you this is our first time meeting, and he never formally introduced himself. He said our names to make sure it was us, but that was it. There was no "Hi, nice to meet you," or "Hi, how are you, I'm Joel." It seemed as if he didn't care who we were and that we were going to be his clients. We never had a formal sit down to discuss the process, what we were looking for, or asked if we had any questions. We never even got a business card from him, but he was sure quick to leave them at every place we saw. Once we started viewing the homes, me and my spouse were talking amongst ourselves about the things we liked and didn't like. We aren't picky but we would like a few things. He never asked what we wanted or did we like any of the properties. Once we found one that property that he suggested, he didn't even ask how we liked it. He just told us the next step is to put our names on the list and fill out the required paperwork. He definitely wasn't big on small talk at all. It seemed as if he just wanted to get rid of us, and he had other places to be. He didn't even TRY to get to know us personally. If you can't build rapport with your clients, why should the clients trust you enough to buy a home with you? First impressions are everything and this first impression sucked. While we were looking at one property that we really liked, the sales rep was in the office with another client after we came back. Joel told us we could go see the other model while we waited. We came back and he was having a long conversation with another realtor there. He saw us and continued on with his conversation. He never asked us how we liked that one or what we thought. Just kept talking away and never said a word to us. He talked to this guy more than he talked to us! At the end of this visit, Joel said the next step is to fill out the paperwork to get on the list with the builder and then he said goodbye. Excuse me but how did YOU know we really even liked the place? Don't think you're about to get a pay out for 5 minutes of work. If we are going to have to know you for the next 6 months while waiting for the home to be built, you better treat us like you give a crap about us. Let me tell you, Joel suggested ONE property to us. He never sent a list of other available listings or did any of the leg work. We found the places and all he did was meet us there. We didn't have any appointments or anything. The people in the sales offices spoke to us more than he did. We don't need a "communicator," we can talk to people ourselves. I even waited to tour places, so that Joel could receive the commission, because a realtor needed to be present on the first visit. He didn't talk about any of the properties or what was included. I'll say this, there's many real estate agents in the area, we definitely don't need you if you don't care. This was going to be a for sure sale using the VA loan, but someone else will meet our needs. We are also NOT first time home owners, so we do know what to expect when it comes to a realtor and what good customer service is. Would not recommend him, unless you're searching for your second million dollar home in the Inland Empire. He just wants the easy money and does not care about the client. S/N: Attached is a text from Joel, in case he tries to dispute us ever working together.

This property management is terrible. After about nine years in the home, both the oven and…read moredishwasher broke down around the same time. The dishwasher wouldn't drain and smelled awful from standing water. The stove also went out around Christmas, which was unfortunate because family was coming over for the holidays. The rental company was contacted, but wasn't able to get in touch with anyone promptly. So, I went out and purchased a relatively inexpensive stove and dishwasher (also an over-the-stovetop microwave). I called and left a message to let them know that I had gone ahead and purchased the items; however, they immediately stated that because we had done so, they would not reimburse us for the appliances, as they were supposed to be the ones purchasing the items. I tried to explain that I had contacted them. However, I was currently without a stove. They told us that because we'd bought and installed it ourselves, they would not reimburse us. Granted, I still had the appliances in the boxes. They said that we would have to send them back, and they would schedule a time to come by, inspect the broken appliances, order the necessary parts, and then return to install them. The problem was that I had the appliances right there. They could have skipped the steps and worked with me. However, that isn't how this company works. They did inform me, however, that because I had purchased the appliances, I could take them with me when we moved out. Due to the Christmas holiday, I kept the appliances I had already purchased. No source of reasoning helped. Unfortunately, my husband and I separated, and I moved out of the home. I had contacted the property manager through references from my new rentals. He and his adult children remained on the property. A few years later, he was unable to keep the house and had to move out. He failed to pay the rent for the last month, May ($1,967); however, the expense was partially covered by the deposit he put down for the house ($1,450). He made sure to clean and repair everything in the house and was out by June 4th. Also, he left the like-new stove, dishwasher, and over-the-stovetop microwave to cover their loss. He genuinely tried to make things right, as he was unable to work due to health reasons. He should have owed about $500 of rent after the deposit. However, the appliances themselves should have made things even. Mainly because he had been in constant contact with them, and let them know this was the cause of an unexpected health issue. For 11 years, the rent was always paid on time. To conclude, this company strictly adhered to the book, solely benefiting itself, without considering the situation or the person, and imposed late fees and bogus charges for financial gain. They somehow managed to come up with a balance of $ 2,400. Truly heartless.

I was being harassed continuously about updates on the sale of my home over text messages (I just want to note that they were so impersonal that they couldn't take the time to speak to you). I don't understand why they kept asking for updates because their office handled the escrow, so they should have been aware of where I was in the process of selling my home. When I didn't have updates because the process was taking longer than expected, they became rude. Finally I changed my mind about leasing the property because I was afraid that I'd have to deal with their rudeness and unprofessionalism during my entire lease. No thank you! I never took up residency and they kept my entire deposit. When I asked for half back, in true form, they sent me a two-paged letter stating why they weren't giving it back. It was full of double-talk and verbiage that only someone in the real estate business would know. They are just glorified car salespeople. Always looking for an angle and it's all about MONEY! MONEY! MONEY! I never met Briana Price, so I can't comment on her, but I had rude toned text conversations with a couple of the female staff members and I spoke to Donovan over the phone. He was condescending and rude! Based on my experience, I would not recommend doing business with this company.

The house had been on the market for months with absolutely no staging or assistance in supporting us throughout the selling process. Everything changed the MOMENT we finally decided to go with a different realtor and now I wish we would've switched to them months earlier!! They immediately came alongside us in faith and action. Our house was staged beautifully, our asking price chosen wisely, and our confidence reassured. No surprise that the house sold straightaway. They were refreshingly transparent with us through all the ins and outs of the process, fought for us to get an equitable offer, and restored our faith in the entire home-owning journey.
