I have been here a few times for a few different services - several manicures, a pedicure, and eyebrow shaping (wax, pluck,thread) and tint as well as eyelash lift/perm and tint, and WOW! I have never had such amazing, satisfying beauty services before in my life with such perfect results each time. High recommend all of the girls for manis/pedis (they specialize in "Russian" technique) and both Lena and Anna for beauty treatments such as eyebrows, eyelashes and make up! Anna even taught me how to properly apply eyeliner for my eyeshadow and lipliner and lipstick for my lip shape. The tint on both my eyebrows and eyelashes outlasted what I've had done at other salons and what I've done myself at home by over a week, maybe 2. The eyelash lifts also outlasted from multiple other salons by several weeks... and not a single lash was over curled or pointing in the wrong direction afterwards like can often happen with a couple of lashes after a lash lift/perm. My eyebrow shape was so perfect yet still looked natural for my face. I cannot recommend these ladies enough! Not only are they talented, but clearly extremely well trained and could easily compete with the best of celebrity stylists and make up artists. read more

Waited weeks for an appointment. Flew in on a red eye to ensure I made the appointment on time and they lost my appointment. Called the day I made appointment to confirm and left message asking for a call if the system did not show me because I was wary of the online system. My computer and phone calendar show the appointment (3x for the same exact time- and another reason for call) but would not take me. Didn't even get the chance to experience a manicure. I have very little patience and very little personal time to give a second chance. My recommendation is to call to confirm or physically go to make an appointment- their online system is not to be trusted. read more

I have gotten my nails done here twice by Aika and had a great experience, even at their old location. She is a perfectionist, attentive, and did a great job. I thought this would be my go-to spot in Manhattan. She wasn't available when I made a last minute appointment so Ariuna ended up doing my nails. I have never complained before like this but I feel inclined. I asked nicely for my nails to please be filed into more of an almond shape, before any color or base was applied. I received so much attitude and was rudely told that my nails already were an almond shape. They were not reshaped and I received a dirty look. I was taken aback and was super uncomfortable. I debated if I should ask again and figured maybe I misunderstood. I hoped that later during the two hour service, my nails would be filed into more of a pointed almond shape that I always get. After color was applied, I kindly asked again if it was possible to at least reshape just ONE of my nails. It was the most bulky/ fat and border-lining a square shape. I added that it was totally fine if she could no longer do it. The nail tech became visibly pissed off, made nasty faces, and threw her hands in the air multiple times saying it can't be done because it's too late. I am aware that there can be language barriers, but this wasn't the case. Another employee walked over and they began speaking to each other in a different language while pointing at my nails. I didn't need to understand all the words to understand that the technician was clearly complaining about my request. I have never received attitude like this during a service. The woman who rung me up overheard some of this and didn't offer a discount. I'm not a difficult customer at all and left really upset. For such an expensive manicure, it is actually ridiculous to offer such poor customer service that you deny a customer something as basic as a nail shape. read more

The absolute BEST pedicure I've ever gotten in my life. my toes are shaped so beautifully & I watched how Mila perfected the gel and made sure to coat every corner of my toes. Unfortunately had multiple bad experiences here. The manicures come out okay, but with a lot of prompting and uncomfortable conversations explaining to the technician that the gel was uneven, thick and bubbling after it cured. In addition, the technician did not listen to my requested simple short square shape and filed into coffin. As we have probably all been told, their response was "your nail is crooked" when that was simply not the case. After the conversation, they were clearly talking about me to each other making faces, huffing and puffing while they fixed their own mistake and acted extremely rude and unprofessional. I came back 3 times, but each time was just as disappointing after sitting for over 2 hours unable to relax as I am watching sloppy, rushed and sub-par technique for $80. Do yourself a favor and buy the gel supplies on Amazon and do it yourself. read more

I love this nail salon. I've never had such painless nail experiences before coming in here. Neither have I ever had such clean looking nails and I've been to so many nail techs. The details and the care they provided for your nails and cuticle area is impeccable. They never cause any damage to your nail beds, with every removal I've had (every-time you go in the old gel is removed and very little to none is left as a base for the new gel) my nails never feel weak, thin, bumpy or damaged. After the removal, they move onto your cuticle and this is where I'm always most impressed because of the fact that it's a Russian manicure, they remove your cuticle with drill bits and literally leave you with the most clean cuticle ever. The gel is applied the most careful way I've ever seen, it's applied very close to your cuticle (never touching it) and they shape it completely themselves by using gravity as they turn your hand over and the gel falls into place. Not touched up with any drill bits for shaping afterwards. Very high quality nail polishes, never any chipping, or anything like that. The studio is beautiful and pink. Very hygienic they use new files and disinfecting their tools with a specific machine as well. 10/10 recommend. No complaints whatsoever. Margarita is truly my favorite, her shaping skill are incredible and attention to detail stands out but I've also gone to newly announced top nail Mila (she did the set in the photo attached) and she's lovely too. Book an appointment you won't regret it! side note: I ask for a thicker layer of gel to preserve the tips from chipping. read more

And always came here on time and they had absolutely zero problems with me, even when technicians didn't do their job good, I "kept face" and didn't act like a bitch. What Really made me disappointed is when recently I got sick and I informed them 4 hours in advance before my appointment that I can't come and ask for some discount on fee, which is 100% by the way (while while Manhattan Russian nails is around 50%), they didn't make concessions and I mean didn't even try to be nice to regular customer, not 1 time random. And since we are all in America, try to keep this American smile and friendly look on your face, girls. Everybody looks too mean, angry, and literally only 1 girl - Auna thanked me for tips. Came here thinking I'm going to invest in my nails and get a Russian manicure but instead I got one of the worst gel manicures in my life. The front desk gave me the last appt of the day. I asked for soft squares and ended up with the boxiest nails with extremely pointed sides. I left the salon and took a look at my nails and couldn't help but cry. I called the very next day and asked for them to be fixed or taken off and the lady said I have to wait 3 days for the same person to redo them. when I traveled back there they filed underneath my nail to fix the shape and ended up completely taking the color from the tips of the nail and saying that there's nothing else that can be done. I asked for her to remove the nails because it's hideous and she said no. Super disappointing to have paid $100 for this service and horrible care for the manicure. read more

The masters in the studio are great and any issue with the salon is a result of interaction with the owner Margarita. I've visited the salon about 4-5 times and out of those times I've had at least 2 conflicts with the owner. Margarita has been repeatedly rude during my visits and does not serve customers well. However, all her staff are absolutely professional and always lovely and courteous. When booking a reservation to fix 2 nails, I included a note to say that I am only fixing 2 nails. The note was overlooked by the staff and owner and I was treated with hostility and rudeness insisting I pay for the full gel manicure services. I insisted that I only need to fix two nails and that the owner should be aware of this as per the note, however I was met with rude remarks and attempts to pressure into the full service in the most unprofessional and disrespectful manner. I had to inquire whether they are going to service me or whether I should go to another salon to take care of my request. Upon settling the disagreement, and the owner agreeing for the manicurist to only complete 2 nails as my appointment request however began to make snark comments my way during the appointment and even attempted to peer pressure and guilt me in to paying for the entire gel manicure set. I paid for the services (to be clear, I over payed to fix 2 nails, but was fine with that) and even left a generous tip to the manicurist who did a great job. However the entire experience left a bad impression and was highly unprofessional. Later that day I received a text message from the owner saying they will no longer be servicing me and banning them from their salon. Ironically the mistake was of the owner's negligence to review the notes in the schedule. Highly unprofessional. read more

I'm currently in NY for work and I have been going to Mstudio, my first visit the front desk personal serve each and every customer that walked to the door coffee and chocolate bar except me, so before I left, I let her know how I did not feel welcome; she said "oh I will remember next time". Second time same behavior and Three weeks later same thing happened so I asked to speak to the manager and she said no manager available and made the same excuse.
