Russian manicure, neutral for work
Michele C.

I love this place. I walked in bc I was looking for a new nail salon and I was right downstairs. They took me without an appointment and do Russian manicures. It's 2 weeks later and still looks like I just got them done. Can't wait to go back!!

Been going to Coco for about two years and they always do a great job! All the artists are friendly…read moreand very talented. The staff are nice too. Definitely recommend them if you're in the area. I usually go to Rubi, Sue, or JoJo--they're all fabulous! You can pay cash, card, or Venmo. I have longer nails and they usually cost around $100-150 with a design.

Coco Nails art is my holy grail. I've been going to this spot religiously for 3 years now, and…read morefinally got around to writing a review. Since I've stumbled upon this spot, I've never looked back. It's easy to make an appointment here: I recommend making it through Yelp, so they can set you up with someone who specializes in the service you're looking for. Appointments can be made a week in advance, and there's always availabilities. If you're more spontaneous though, they can almost always accommodate walk ins too! Miki is my girl. I always get gel nails and love a good nail art moment, and Miki can always pull off any design I bring to the table. She's freehanded all sorts of crazy designs for me, and I get compliments from people all the time about them. I don't know what they put in these gel nails either, but they last super well. All my sets have lasted long enough for my nails to grow out, get cut, and then some. I'm a nurse, so I wash my hands all the time, but these nails not only stay on, but stay uncracked! I've had nails from here that lasted 2-3 months easily. Also, if you're into cat eye polish, this place has a lot of color options! They also do a lot of unique cat eye patterns, and they do the cat eye heart design super well. Anyway, give this place a shot! You can't go wrong with them!

In response Nadia's review I was actually there at the salon today and witnessed everything. First…read moreof all Sonia is SANDRA and she is also the owner of the salon with her partner that the the client said she called. On their appointment options there is an option to have a one nail fix which is what this was originally about and then then Nadia said she wanted to have all her nails fixed which is an entirely different appointment time then having a one nail fix. By the way this was happening while Sandra was in the middle of doing another client's nails. I was more then understanding when Sandra had another tech start the removal process on my nails because it was obvious that she needed to deal with this upset client. So since this woman decided to change her mind and request a whole new set she didn't understand the difference between a one nail fix time and a whole set. Instead she decided to request a refund and a removal. Then another woman who was associated with Nadia was also trying to argue with Sandra, mind you she wasn't even a client. Since I originally booked my appointment with Sandra she switched us so that I can continue with her and Nadia can get her removal with another tech. So of course Sandra didn't have time because I had my appointment booked. Mind you the whole time Nadia got a removal she could've just gotten her one nail fix. And by the way another girl with an appointment came in and was also very understanding since they were still removing Nadia's nails. Obviously this is why you can't just change your mind the day of your appointment because they have other booked appointments and fit you in based on your original request, it's not for you to change your mind. By the way on the Vagaro app there are 472 reviews and they have five stars so you should check out those reviews before you decide based on one bad review. You will see people like me that absolutely love their work and professionalism. And I included my nail design that will show my ring which will be on their Instagram for today's date as well just in case people try to say this is a fake review.

I booked a detailed nail art appointment with Sandra after sending my desired design to Art Up…read more Even though there is a price range for the session, beware of upcharge for senior artist. Sandra is a senior artist, so her price is higher. The studio also charged $10 more to remove my existing dip powder set in addition to their normal removal fee (which applies to gel only). My nails ended up costing $210 in cash (they only take cash here). While I was content with the outcome, it was not close to the original design I sent. I felt that there could have been better communication up front about the extra charges. I would prefer to be informed before they start working on my nails instead of during, where there's no option to back out. It has been 3 weeks, I noticed the colors have faded, and the top coat on a few nails peeled at the edge. Other than that, no broken nails or anything major. In my opinion the experience at Art Up is not worth the high cost.
