Found this place from a friends rec as I need very last minute nails done for a last minute trip! Sweet Nicole was able to squeeze me in before closing. She's located in the corner of the plaza inside the beauty businesses area. Plenty of parking available too. I wanted very simple nails with minimal nail art and Nicole delivered! Her work space is very clean and takes her time with making sure you're paying for quality. (two things I'm very picky about when getting my nails done). It's been three weeks since I got my nails done and they look like they were done a few days ago! (The picture I posted was taken two weeks after I got them done) They were able to survive my hikes and beach trips in Hawaii (I've gotten my nails done elsewhere and they would've cracked/lifted by now) and my nails seriously still look so good. I still get compliments on them now! read more

This is a real artist! Nicole accepted my special request to do swirls on my nails and did custom design on my daughters acrylics. My cuticles are a nightmare, and she took great care in them and now my nails are just perfection! Very detailed work! Definitely worth the 1.5 hr drive out of our way read more

The best! I wouldn't consider going anywhere else when I'm looking to treat myself with some nail art. Nicole is so skilled, thoughtful, and creative. She has excellent taste and ideas when I come in with a vague concept of what I want. And she is always increasing her repertoire of designs and techniques. Her range and stand-out quality is evident from her Instagram. It's easy to make an appointment and the time spent is pleasant! The Torrance location is conveniently located for anyone in the South Bay (but also worth driving to, regardless of where you live) and she has a downtown studio as well. read more

I've been getting my nails done (gel nails) pretty consistently for over 2 years now. I've tried several places in Orange County (Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach, Fountain Valley) and Los Angeles (Torrance, Gardena), but what separates Wifi Nails from the rest is Nicole's artistic talent and creativity. I usually go into these other salons and show them a picture from Instagram or Pinterest for inspiration. When I'm feeling adventurous I let them freestyle a little bit, but I always regret it. I've had designs where it looked like bird poop. It was meant to be black roses. Lol! I never felt satisfied about their designs and they could never duplicate the chic nails I requested. I never received compliments and I never felt like I got my money's worth. Nicole is different. She is exceptional. We have the same nail vision & style. All three times I've gotten my nails done by her, I couldn't stop staring at my nails! I got compliments everyday by coworkers, friends, random people, literally everyone! It makes your day and makes you feel like you're da bomb. Just look at my nail pics I posted. The designs are amazing!! I'm a perfectionist and she is too! She also makes sure that your wrist is comfortable, cuticles are taken care of, and the nail design is to my liking. Her work is a reflection of her trendy style. I promise you, you will leave feeling like a queen b. You'd be flaunting them for days and everyone would be so jealous of them. I can't wait to go back! read more

You looking for detailed, meticulous, and clean this yo girl! Thank goodness Nicole made it to the southbay cause I've gone to many other nail salons in the area and got my nails done many times but there is no one that does a job well done like Nicole. She works independently inside the Ziva salon on weekends. Just check her appt site to see where she'll be because she also works in Santa Monica too. I've seen her work on my friend's nails and she's on point when it comes to nail art. I got the metallic pearl coat which is $30 extra but looks soooo coooool. I love that she's very gentle when taking off your previous gel. Many others have caused me to bleed or just hurt a lot when they scrape the old off. Nicole's super careful and actually uses different equipment to buff it off. Also takes notice to evenly paint on your nails. I think that's my pet peeve, when I go to salons and leave with lumpy nails. There's ample parking and also a Korean grocery store right by if you need to stop for groceries. I highly recommend stopping in with Nicole if you're looking for someone really caring and skilled to do your nails. read more

Nicole of Wifi Nails is the BEST. You'll get a totally different nail experience with Nicole, she is an artist and will take such good care of your nails. It's so rare to find a salon that will do sculptured nails with forms these days - Wifi Nails is special and different from the rest like that. She has so many colors and the best glitter/shimmer which makes it fun picking a design. I got Pusheen Cat nails and I love how it turned out, she looked up some photos on her phone and whipped up the design. Even after 3 weeks, there was no lifting or cracking of the gel. It feels like money well spent when a gel manicure grows out nicely, we've all had gel manicures that start peeling after a week which is the absolute worst! You can expect high quality work from Nicole and I trust her with my nails. Wifi Nails is located inside of Salon Ziva, you can just tell the front desk people you're getting your nails done by Nicole and they will take you to her. There is ample parking in a big plaza which is always nice. read more

Posting this shortly after my 3rd time getting my nails done by Nicole, and that's rare for me as a nail salon hopper. I used to go wherever was convenient but after going to Wifi Nails there's just no comparison. It's all about the quality here. What sets this place apart specifically is the attention to detail. Other places try to rush you out to get though their queue of clients as quickly as possible. Nicole takes her time to make sure you're happy with the final product. And she's super open to wild / weird ideas which I love! It's cool to be able to collaborate with someone that is artistically open minded. I can never stop staring at my nails when I leave so yeah, I think I finally found my regular spot! read more

Wifi Nails - Acrylic extensions with hand painted nail art, traditional tattoo lettering! - Nail Technicians Near Me

This post was originally posted in her Torrance page, but I'm also posting this in her Santa Monica page to spread the love. Nicole is hands down one of the best nail artists/manicurists you'll find around LA, whether you're looking for just a clean solid manicure or instagrammable nail art. First, her work is thorough and she always makes my nails look reeeal good. I have very high standards when it comes to my nails - if I see even a little bit of stray polish on my cuticles, I don't go back to that manicurist. Nicole's work is flawless - the polish is exactly where it needs to be and the colors are painted solid. No bumps, no ridges, no having to clean anything at home. Second, her artwork is consistently on point. I usually like to show her pictures of what I like to give her ideas and let her take the wheel from there. She has great taste so I always trust her. Just look through her pictures and you'll see her high quality work. Third, she only uses clean and/or new tools!!! Unfortunately I've heard one too many horror stories involving manicurists' failure to properly sanitize their tools and resulting infections. Nicole makes sure to follow all cleanliness rules manicurists should follow. Nicole is honestly great all around. If you give her a chance, I'm confident you'll love her work. read more

Nicole is outta this world. She's a gem. A nail goddess. Her work is impeccable, flawless, all the other words in the thesaurus. I can't say enough about her artistic abilities and attention to detail. I'm really particular and 100% satisfied. I'm also incredibly accident prone and always ruin my nails. Two weeks later and my nails are completely intact and on point. She's also a joy to spend time with - funny, clever the whole package. Key when you''re getting detailed nail art done and are spending quite a bit of time with your rad nail gal. Literally everyone, even hetero men, have been asking where I've gotten my nails done so they can tell their wives, girlfriends, sisters, etc. See Nicole, and thank me later. read more

Wifi Nails is the best!!!! She slayyyyed my nails. They look AMAZING! I went to visit Nicole yesterday for some new claws. I didn't know what I wanted and we just started playing around with ideas. We tested some stuff out and the final product is so beautiful! I can't stop looking at my new nails! I've gotten so many compliments already and it's only been a day! I will never go to anyone else because Nicole just GETS it. She is so artistic and all her work is beautiful. Her prices are also very reasonable. I switch nail artists all the time because I can't find one who does works like Nicole. She's gentle and detail-oriented. She makes sure her finish works is up to her standards before she lets you leave the door. My nails lasted for a month! I get so many compliments - either at work or out in public. She is located inside Ziva in Torrance but also in Santa Monica. Just call her for her schedule and make an appointment now! Parking at Ziva is convenient as well. read more

I like doing my own nails and I occasionally visit a salon to treat myself, so getting them done by a nail artist was a novel but definitely an amazing experience. I wanted something simple but special for graduation and she totally delivered! I asked for a gel removal, gel manicure, level 1 art, and builder gel. She used an e-file to remove my existing gel polish and was meticulous in caring for each nail to make sure they looked good but were also clean, which was great considering how surprisingly rare of an occurrence that is even at mid-range nail salons. Since the session is one-on-one, I thought it might be a little awkward but she's a great conversationalist and time flew by. One of the three things I appreciate is how committed she is in making sure you actually like the manicure and design. She double-checked with me a few times to make sure I was satisfied (and of course I was, lol), which is a checkpoint many nail technicians at salons often skip over. Secondly, my nails have never lasted so long after getting them done. After three weeks, there was no chipping and my free edges were all still covered--since I use my hands a lot, the builder gel was certainly worth the $10. Lastly, I appreciate how open she is in offering advice on nail care! I've been learning how to do my own nails so she gave me pointers and even recommended a few resources on where to buy my own supplies. Do I recommend? Yaass x2. I may still go to a salon for basic gel manicures but Wifi Nails will be my go-to for anything beyond that. read more

Nicole is a master nail specialist! She works efficiently with two nail lamps yet takes her time to make the surface of each nail is flawless. Her techniques from the dry gel manicure to the nail art are precise and my current mani is going in to 6 weeks. I could have gone longer, but was excited to get more designs with the holiday season approaching near. I don't go easy on my nails and also have long curly hair, all of which my manicures survive without chipping or peeling (see picture). The almond shape works the best for me in making the nails last and still having length for designs. read more

Nicole is the best! I first met her in October having really short/bitten and thin nails. I got acrylic extensions at first and loved them! It was the first time I got extensions without plastic tips and she did such a good job..I've been coming here since then. She completely saved my nails..now they are all grown out and look great with both her acrylic and gel manicures. Nicole is very meticulous and careful with every thing she does and is also fun to talk to. Her nail art is also amazing! read more

Nicole is a DREAM. In a world of rushed and crappy manicures, Nicole is a true SAVIOR. She is so gentle and her attention to detail is impeccable. I FINALLY found someone who is as detailed as I am and who can actually do nail art!!! I've seen her work through Instagram and I knew I had to book. I wanted some badass flames on my nails and she delivered like it was nothing. I am SO FREAKING HAPPY. It's close to impossible to find someone to give you exactly whatever crazy thing you want on your nails, but here she is. I'm so beyond stoked at how great my nails look. She also filed off my gel which felt amazing! So gentle, no heat or cutting, and felt so much better than soaking in acetone like the average salon. My skin or nails weren't dehydrated, they were left so strong. I'm a firm believer in gel not being bad for your nails and that the nail technician behind the tools is bad for your nails. But seeing as Nicole does everything so differently and gently, just proves my point even more. It's a whole different experience that led to such healthier nails. She also told me she has even taken nail classes to further educate herself and keep up on trends and techniques so you know you're in good hands. GO TO HER, you will never want to go anywhere else ! read more

I've gotten my nails done by Nicole several times and I have never been disappointed! Her nail art and style is fun & unique. She is very detail oriented detail oriented, & amazing at what she does. I love her. She's so friendly and she takes her time to ensure good work. I recommend her to everyone.

I love Wifi Nails! It is the only place I will go. I absolutely adore my nails every time I walk away from there. I feel more like myself in those moments than ever! I know most people can understand the struggle of spending time and money on getting your nails done just to not like them in the end. That never happens here! You will have a totally new experience working with Nicole. Also, I feel like my nails were always damaged before going to Wifi Nails. My nails have never been so healthy for so long and Nicole did that! She is a master of her craft. She takes her time prepping your nails as well as shaping and sculpting them. Whether you're getting extensions or keeping them short--they're going to look amazing and they're going to have a quality that lasts. She is a true artist through and through! Sometimes I come in with design ideas but I always like to ask what her view is and more so enjoy when I get to have her own art on my hands! It's fun to get to be a part of her vision. She has such a great style; her work goes beyond the usual 'nail art' you see. Nicole loves what she does and strives to help people express themselves and stand tall in their truest form. She is a lovely woman to spend a couple hours with. Her work is beautiful and her vibe is chill--what more could you ask for?! read more

If there was more stars available I'd give her the most, Nicole is fantastic! Does a outstanding job and you won't get bumped like all those other nail places that will take walk-ins just to make more money, despite your appt you made, demonstrating a lack of respect for your time. I guess they don't care if you wait....well that won't happen here. She doesn't a VERY good job and very professional, you won't regret it at all, you'll be thrilled to have found the perfect nail gal. After going to her, i feel she helped me raise the bar, but I'll definitely continue to go to her. Check out all her reviews, everyone loves her!! Thanks Nicole!! read more

Nicole is my go-to nail tech! She pays such close attention to detail, making sure all nails are similarly shaped and even. My gel manicure easily lasts 4 weeks, sometimes I go more. I highly recommend Nicole! I'm a newbie to the gel overlay world and have learned so much, I've really stepped up my nail game lol. I'm a hard customer to please, and am very particular with how I like my nails done. Nicole gets my vibe and she does them perfectly. Let me explain my two biggest pet peeves when it comes to nails. If my nails are filed to much on the sides, they appear to be growing slanted upwards. I call these rocket nails, bc from the side they look like they are taking off up to the sky haha. Anyone who has had this done knows exactly what I'm talking about. Nicole does not do this which I'm grateful for beyond measure. My second peeve is if I'm getting nail gel over my natural nails or getting nail extensions, I don't like the gel or acrylic too thick. I don't like bulky nails, I prefer them thin and dainty so they look natural. Nicole listened and was able to accommodate me on how I like them. I've learned recently that it's better to file away old hard gel instead of soaking them off, which is a lifesaver for my naturally thin brittle nails. I do the hard gel overlay which gives my natural nails the strength to last and not break. She also does fantastic nail art! This is a hard combo to come by, someone who does both is a treasure. I've been wanting to try some different Insta worthy nails- and I've found someone I can do both natural and artsy stuff with to accommodate my moods;) She also has a very convenient online appt booking system, def a plus! (Tip: check in with her if you are not sure what to book) Thanks Nicole! I love my nails! read more

Nicole is AMAZING and incredibly talented!!! Not only is she awesome, but her work and attention to detail is absolute perfection. She really took the time to make sure my nails were on point (no pun intended) and were taken care of correctly and properly. I'd never done a stiletto shape before and now I don't know if I'll ever do anything else! She perfectly and carefully shaped my nails, and also suggested the unicorn chrome, which is everything! I'm SO happy with the results. Nicole is super talented, knowledgeable, and is the best at what she does! read more
