I had cracked/loose tile in my bathroom as well as severely discolored grout in both the bath and kitchen areas from water damage. Old cement type grout used many years ago leached an impenetrable and permanent white film when it came in contact with water. Jose had an excellent and economical fix in what would have been a very costly retile in both areas. He fixed all cracked tiles and regrouted damaged grout to look like new. It's now looks like I have brand new floors once again! So pleased with his work and wouldn't hesitate to use him again for any tiling jobs. He takes pride in his work and he's very affordable and personable as well. WTG Jose, and Jose Jr. too!

The house was built in the early 1950s, the shower is small, and it had been retiled with poor quality tile (that didn't quite match the original, which is in the rest of the bathroom) decades earlier. The crew put in long days over a couple of weeks -- that's how meticulous they were. Although they had to troop through the house (and my bedroom) to get the job done, they were careful to keep everything as clean and undisturbed as possible. My new shower is perfect! I call it the Purple Palace and I could not be happier with the fantastic job Tapia did. I would hire them again without hesitation.

The original plan was to fill the divets and then seal the granite. The filling would not adhere so the next plan was to sand down the granite until it was smooth. That worked well. I appreciated Alfonso's flexibility and his communication with us. My only negative was that his price seemed to be on the high side but he and his crew of about 5 people all worked hard and did a great job. I will probably use him again when the granite needs resealing again.

We could not be more pleased! The backsplash is beautiful! Roberto was meticulous in cutting the tile to fit around the windows and shades. Initially, I was a little hesitant to hire Roberto, because he did not have any current Yelp reviews, but he told me he has been subbing out with one contractor for a few years and has recently decided to take jobs that are closer to home. We are interested in having more tile work done in our home and I am looking forward to working with Roberto.

He communicated with me every day about his schedule, what he needs in terms of supplies (not much), and next steps in the process. I did a cement tile counter top as I was inspired by a cement tile I found. It looks Moroccan or Mexican (white n grey graphic pattern). It's not conventional and I was expecting having a hard time finding anyone willing to take a chance and brainstorm with me. We designed a counter edge together using the tiles and talked about the best way to protect the tiles from damage over time. It turned out so good. He taught me how to seal it and left me supplies. He's just a wonderful person, professional, kind, fair, good eye for design, and best of all a good communicator and man of his word.
