Please see photos I've attached. Mario did a fantastic job on my bathroom vanity. Tenant left it looking like an old warn out shoe. Mario restored it to look like new again. Wow! I was worried the rings, indentations, and over all dull look would be permanent and I'd have to replace the entire vanity. But look at it now! Like new! Well worth the price. Not the lowest but certainly not the highest quote I received. Very competitive pricing. Mario had great reviews and Yelp didn't let me down. He's everything they raved about and more. Thank you Mario. read more

Mario did an excellent job resurfacing my quartz countertop that my tenants wrecked. He was able to get all of the major scratches off and it ended up looking like new! Not only he's professional, courteous and priced fairly, he was able to finish early. Highly recommend for all of your countertop needs. read more

Marty did an excellent job of cleaning, honing, polishing and sealing the marble in our entry way and hallway. The floor looks fabulous! Marty is extremely professional and polite and his prices are competitive. We are very pleased with the work he did in our home. It is worth it to call and have him give you a quote. read more

Timely, professional and at competitive rates. MB scheduled us promptly within the same week, they showed up on time both for giving a quote and to do the service, and made sure we were happy with the service and constantly asked if we wanted to adjust the finish or anything else. read more

MB Marble Resurfacing restored our white marble kitchen counters and the result was outstanding. The counters are now just like new, there was a lot of etching in the surface from use over the last 4 years. Mario was very responsive and quick to come out and provide an estimate. Thomas, the guy that did the work, was very polite and excellent at his craft. This is their expertise, and it shows. It took a full day, and the work was not messy at all, a little smell from the sealer, but he opened the windows and turned on the kitchen fan. Well worth the cost to restore. I will try to keep the counters sealed, but I'm happy now to know that they can be restored every few years. Thank you Mario and Thomas. read more

I am very impressed!! The granite in my kitchen really needed help. It always looked smeared and unclean, and felt grainy/sticky, no matter how well I cleaned it! Very weird. Tomas came out today and worked very hard to clean/buff/seal it and it's beautiful now!! So happy. Like all natural stone, it has a few imperfections, but all in all, the result is amazing. I felt that the price was very fair and would definitely call MB Marble again. Thanks, Mario and Tomas!! read more

Mario and Daniel did a phenomenal job! I completely etched my marble table after a night of drinks (whooooops). Called Mario and he had it all fixed up the next day. Hopefully, I don't repeat the same mistake but I will definitely know who to call if I need any surfaces restored. Can't thank them enough! read more

I worked with Mario on marble floor resurfacing and granite countertop resurfacing jobs. Cannot be even happier about the overall result, and it definitely beat my expectation. Communication is solid: the amount of work was more than his expectation and he was able to communicate the schedule and options with me, and eventually finish on time as promised. I will hire them again in the future for sure read more

We couldn't be happier! Mario is super responsive and offers very fair prices (I've shopped around). Tomas came to our house and restored a very tired and worn marble kitchen floor to brand new! Tomas came back a few months later and restored our marble shower stall. Super happy with the work, the friendly and professional attitude and the RESULTS!! We highly recommend MB Marble, Mario & his crew! Shout out to Tomas! Great work! read more

Mario's team did a super job on my honed calacatta marble kitchen counters, they look even better than when first installed 3 years ago. The price seemed fair, and the guys were super nice and professional. They also spent extra time on the marble backsplash behind my range and got all the cooking 'gunk' off, that I never could no matter what i tried. Highly recommend. read more

The marble on our kitchen counters had etching and Mario responded quickly on Yelp, came out within a few days for a quote, and scheduled the work at the date I requested. We had our marble honed (more matte) to look more modern and also make the etching less visible (we previously had polished marble). It was a suggestion Mario offered and I'm so glad --it fits our style more and also less maintenance. They didn't finish the job until I was happy and I love our new kitchen counters! I highly recommend MB Marble. read more

We bought our home with marble counters installed and didn't realize how bad the etching was until we had Mario out. The counters look brand new. His team also fixed a chip in the kitchen counters from a plate I dropped. They sealed all of our marble counters (kitchen and bath) and water beads up now like a freshly waxed car. We are so thrilled with how they came out. Final price was as estimated - no surprises and perfect clean up. read more

Mario is fantastic. I recently had Mario come over to take a look at a stain on my marble table that he quickly identified as fixable. My work did not meet the minimum he needs to start work (it was a small area) , but he instead gave me tips on how I could fix the problem myself. I really appreciate that he was still able to help out and has earned my trust for the next time I need help on a larger piece of work. read more

Stellar! I cannot say enough positive things about Mario - he was an absolute pleasure to work with. I hired him to help fix etching in some honed marble in my bathroom after I moved out of a luxury condo rental (I had foolishly poured vinegar on it). He was not only the most reasonably priced option I quoted out, but he was responsive, impressed my landlord, did a stellar job, and even did more than expected! It was such a relief that he showed up early allowing time for delays at the loading dock, easily satisfied the COI (Certificate of Insurance) requirements of the condo association, and impressed my landlord. She thought so highly of him and his work that she ended up referring him to the condo association as a preferred vendor for the luxury condo building! When he was at the condo, he also noticed a few additional rings on the kitchen countertops and volunteered to fix those at no additional charge. WOW, just wow! Top quality. Thank you Mario! read more

So impressed and highly recommend! Mario, company owner, and his team were fast, communicative, knowledgeable, professional, and, kind. The technician, Jesus, was incredibly thorough, efficient, respectful, and came with a face mask. Everything from the quote, the work, and the billing was super smooth. Could not ask for more. I will be doing business again with this team very soon. read more

I contacted Mario based on the good reviews, he promptly returned my call and asked for a pic of my job, a bathroom vanity top that is etched and needs re-polishing. I didn't receive any call after I sent him my pic, I followed up with another call to ensure he received the pic, which has gone unanswered for a week. Seems to me a simple thing to call back and say either the job is too small, to far, whatever. But no call back is the worst. read more

We have a limestone bathroom and a marble entryway. Both were etched and stained from many years of neglect. Tomas from MB Marble Resurfacing refinished both floors and I could not be happier. He is the consummate perfectionist and he applied his many years of experience to work a miracle on our floors. They look better and more beautiful than the day they were first installed. Also, I cannot say enough about the company. Mario, the owner, showed up at the appointed time to bid the job. (He has a contractor's license and is insured.) He was knowledgeable, experienced and professional and he made excellent recommendations regarding the best way to proceed. His price was extremely competitive and fair. I recommend MB Marble Resurfacing without reservation. I will use them again and I will tell my friends. This is one of those times that I found a business that is a jewel and I want to share it wIth everybody searching for natural stone refinishing. read more

I was preparing a client's home to put on the market for sale in Burlingame. The previous tenants did not take care of the Limestone floor. It is either replace or resurfacing. I called a few shops but everyone are busy. Mario called me back and was willing to come out to check out the damage. After the evaluation, he provided the quote but I need to wait for a few weeks. We are planning to put the home on the market the following week. He was kind enough to check with one of his project, and squeezed us in. His team was quick and efficient, finished the job within two days. With normal wear and tear, I am very satisfied with his work and will refer him to my clients and friends. read more

We had some damaged marble (significant etching) and contacted Mario who promptly came out and gave a very reasonable estimate. Subsequently Thomas Medrano came out to do the work. The results are absolutely beautiful, Thomas was prompt, respectful and very helpful with respect to recommending products we can use to keep the marble clean without damaging it. Thomas also did a fantastic job of cleaning up. A can't recommend this company more highly, I would give more stars if possible! Please be sure to request Thomas when you arrange for your job to begin. read more

It is with my heavy heart to leave something less than a 5-star review. I contracted this company to work on the marbles in the bathrooms. Mario visited my place in person for a thorough check and gave a price estimate which we agreed on. When the job was done, he asked for extra payment citing that the grout work was not a part of the contract. First, he came in person to inspect. Second, if the cost was higher than expected, it should be communicated before starting or completing the work. Two months later, the grout / color started to come off. Five months later, the new grout between the wall and the floor was completely gone. It was almost like painting over rather than doing a quality job. I chose this company because I wanted to support a small business and Mario seemed diligent. I decided to contract another company (comparable price) to work on different parts in my house. No fuss. The work remains intact and looks amazing. read more

MB Marble did an excellent job on my floors and kitchen counters. One bathroom floor was travertine. They sanded the stone, repaired any holes, and polished it. It is beautiful. Only problem is I don't want to walk on it:) The other floor was marble and was in pretty bad shape from heavy use and not always the proper cleaning. It looks brand new. Just beautiful. My granite kitchen counters shine better than the day they were installed 15 years ago. I can literally see my reflection in the backsplash across the room. Mario was informative and explained exactly what would be done while giving me the estimate. He was prompt in all communications and confirmed workman arrivals, etc. Tomas was the workman who came to the home. He was prompt, courteous and friendly. He worked really hard - especially on the travertine floor, which was a challenge. His work on all the surfaces was just superior. I heartily recommend this company. I will use them again when needed. Thank you MB Marble. read more

I bought a second hand travertine dining table that needed resurfacing and found Mario here on Yelp. He lived up to the reviews. I used MB Marble Resurfacing to repair some parts of a kitchen countertop that had been damaged and sanded down during a botched remodeling job. Mario and his team came to the rescue. Mario is a very honest man who tells you the truth about whether or not he thinks things are worth repairing and even the possible outcome before starting a job. He offers very fair pricing after getting quotes from 4 other vendors. He was the friendliest and easiest to communicate with as well. The damaged areas of the kitchen counters look SO much better than before. Somehow him and his team worked their magic to fix the damage. I will definitely be going back to Mario in the future for countertop resurfacing and will recommend him to my family and friends! read more

I talked with Mario of MB Marble Resurfacing after talking with another stone restoration company who had been quite helpful. However, since I had Mario on the phone I decided to just confirm what the other company told me. Mario confirmed what I'd previously learned, but he also gave me even more information as well as a recommendation for another product - which I would NEVER have found on my own!! Mario was super nice, incredibly helpful, and his advice was very valuable. And, all given generously to me free of charge! I'm very grateful for Mario's kindness and excellent advice! If I ever do need professional help, I'll call Mario first! THANK YOU, MARIO!! read more

Thomas and Jesus were fantastic. They refurbished and polished the marble sinks, cleaned and sealed grout on the ceramic file floor and replaced worn grout lines in in the marble shower and kitchen backsplash. We are very happy with the workmanship and price. The men didn't leave until we were completely satisfied. The bathroom is so clean it looks new. They were here fir six hours and good about cleaning up after the job was done. read more

Great job! Mario's estimate was very competitive and when Toma and Jesus arrived to do our marble master bath floor, shower, and tub enclosure they were quick and professional. Our floor tiles had many spots and they sanded (?) them all off and then sealed so that the floor looks like new. They regrouted the shower- to-pan space and finished with caulk and also repaired a couple deeply etched places where water stands and algae eventually had grown. We used the other BR to shower for a few days, then Toma returned and did that too, very well and quickly. They also refinished a small marble display counter in the kitchen at no extra cost. read more
