    Rainbow salad

M Dumpling is located on Warm Springs Blvd with a small parking lot. The interior is on the smaller side with about 6-7 tables available. I've been here twice now and my first time felt better than my second. The first time I fondly remember the rainbow salad and xialongbao was good. Came back my second time and left feeling underwhelmed. The rainbow salad is still one of my favorites. It's fresh, has an assortment of veggies like carrot, cucumber, and shredded cabbage. It's paired with a silky, wide noodle and a peanut dressing. When mixed together, it's refreshing and light. We had the pork xlb and the flavor of the filling inside the dumpling itself is good. However, the second time we came, there was no soup in the dumpling and the dumplings had a "flat skirt" rather than a more rounded look. For a soup dumpling to have no soup was disappointing. The pan fried buns (sheng jian bao) took a very long time to come out. We had finished all our food by the time it had come out, so note that since they are made fresh it may take a while. These had soup inside and good flavor. However, the bottom part felt very thick and oily which wasn't as a pleasant. On the note of oily, we also got the scallion pancakes and they were drenched in oil. Granted, they were crispy and flaky, but the amount of oil was a turn off. Service is good - the staff here are friendly and are quick to take care of whatever you need. Overall, the second time wasn't as good as the first. Perhaps just a bad batch the day we went.

We came to M Dumpling the other day because we wanted to try a new spot. The restaurant is not big in size, when we came inside there were about 5-6 tables of seating. It's clean and it was quite empty then, we were sat quickly. We got: Special Combo (Original Pork Soup Dumpling, Pan Fried Beef Potstickers, Mochi Cake, Cucumber Salad), Braised Spicy Beef Noodle Soup, and Sauteed Mixed Veggie with Garlic. The authenticity is there and I like how each dishes were cooked just the right way. The mixed veggie they've used a corn starch mix in the sauce that's poured over it and it's definitely a style of cooking for this dish that I haven't had in a while. They get an A+ for this dish. There were no bad dishes on what we ordered and overall I gave the dishes a taste 5 out of 5 stars. I would compare this place to a mini Ding Tai Fung but at a more affordable and a family friendly restaurant. It's definitely got my vote to visit again in the future. If you're craving some good XLB and dishes that you don't wanna wait for hours at Ding Tai Fung, this may be the local gem you've been searching for.

Might be the best XLB in fremont! The service is no frill and extremely fast and efficient. The noodle is also good, definitely going to be a regular spot! The pan fried bun is solid though the bottom part was a bit too thick for my taste. Salted custard bun was good!

Went to this restaurant upon a friends recommendation and this is definitely the go to spot for dumpling besides my regulars. Came during dinner time on a weekday and was seated right away. This restaurant shares the parking space with another restaurant so parking is a little bit tight, but I did see some people park in the lot next-door. We ordered the pork XLB, crab XLB, pan fried pork buns, and beef chow mein. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious. The pork and crab XLB skin was super thin and had lots of soup in them. My only complaint is that the beef chow mein had less than five pieces of beef in there. The ambience of the restaurant was quite nice. They had music in the background with good amount of tables for dining.

Not all XLBs are the same. This one is among the better. Of course we order 5 steamers. Hey, everyone must have their fills. Pan Fried Bao 生煎包 was juicy and delicious, as expected with projection from XLB. In addition, the ZhaJiang Noodles 炸醬麵 was surprisingly well made.

While I live in San Diego, i have visited M Dumpling numerous times and have told everyone I know about this spot. M dumpling consistently delivers the best xiao long bao. They melt in your mouth and this is due to their dumpling skin which is the perfect amount of thickness and the large amount of soup in every single dumpling. It's also sturdy, won't break as easily as other xlbs. The classic pork xlb are my absolute favorite but the spicy chicken xlb are also great (and they have a kick!) Also recommend: - ask them for their chili oil - rainbow salad - chicken and corn steamed dumplings - the creamy custard dessert buns and sesame balls! - the stir fry noodles are good, they have a great wok hei flavor. Best of all, the service is great and while the restaurant does get full during lunch and dinner hours, there is hardly ever that long of a wait.

I've heard about this place through a TikTok video and as someone who absolutely goes feral for dumplings, how could I not make a visit.. I wouldn't even call it a plaza, but located in a small lot next to a skewer place, M Dumpling offers a good variety of food that was enough to keep this girl a happy camper. Parking can be tough depending on the time you come here and it's oddly shaped so navigating can be tight. We were seated promptly and scanned the QR code on the table to order. Service wasn't overly friendly but the server was efficient and the food came out piping hot. Overall, the green beans were a tad too salty, but paired with the fried rice it was great. The XLB had soup inside and was flavorful. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and craving dumplings.

Stopped in again and the food was better than last week. Great place for clean food with little grease.

Hands down the best Mainland Chinese restaurant you can find; better than all those fast places like Mian and Din Din Dumpling. It's the best food you can get for your money's worth, even if it's not cheap food. Very small but cozy space with beige fabric walls and farmland paintings. Service is relatively fast for the food you order. Their Braised Beef Soup is to DIE FOR!!! No other place I have been to in the Bay compares to how rich the broth is. I'd argue that it's a signature dish they have, even after coming to this place for months. The Garlic Stir-Fried Beans have a nice, salty garlic taste to them with fried garlic on top! Very tasty addition to other food you plan on eating; better than places like Ocean Pearl that cook up a savory bean dish already.

This spot is tastes super authentic and fresh. Small inside and I think the ambiance is ruined by the AI generated decoration on the walls, but service is VERY attentive, accommodating, and quick. We got the original and crab soup dumplings, 10/10 thin wrapper was Shanghainese-parents approved and there was a lot of crab/pork inside. For the crab roe one especially there was so much flavor coming from the crab and a noticeable amount of meat. Beef noodle soup was really good too, good amount of beef and the noodle were clearly hand pulled, flavor of the soup was great. Pan fried pork dumplings were my favorite and I liked them as much as michelin star pfpd from shanghai, there was a good amount of meat and the crunch was so light and tasted a little like shrimp. I initially didn't like it because the inside/top was a little mushy and felt like it was raw, but it was fine and I ate two. The skin on this was also pretty dang thin! Overall super happy with this spot and highly recommend. One small nitpick is that the wonton soup on the menu should mention what is inside the wonton. There is a bathroom inside, and ordering is done through qr code menu and pay once done, but I'm sure you could ask for a physical one.

One of the most underrated dumpling spots in the South Bay. This is our go to spot when we want XLBs and pan fried buns done RIGHT. We usually order the combo meal for 2 of us which comes with 8 pork XLBs, 6 pan fried pork buns, 4 salted egg custard buns, and a cucumber salad appetizer. These are the juiciest, most flavorful pork XLBs we've found so far in the area. And we've never had the skin break on us ever. The skin is not as thin as din tai fung, but it holds a lot more soup. The pan fried buns also have a lot of soup in them, in addition to the meat being juicy. The bottom is crispy enough for the texture difference, but not crunchy/hard. The egg custard buns are actually runny and gooey inside, which apparently is really hard to execute (because most other places can't get it like this). This place is authentic, but still very clean and friendly. The staff is attentive and orders come out fast. Highly recommend to all our friends and family!

I waited a couple times before giving this place 5 stars, but it really does deserve 5 stars. I love everything except the chow mein. It's just one of those places that brings the feeling of home and comfort, with all the deliciousness you could ask for. My kids ASK for this place, especially after sports. It's an easy going place with attentive customer service and homemade food served in 15 minutes or less.

First time here and love it! Good food, good price, and good service. Location not that great as it is in a very small plaza with limited parking spaces, and restaurant kind of small with limited tables and seatings. May need to be in long wait during peak hours. Will be returning when crave for more dumplings!

This was a typical Cantonese style eatery where you would get together for family gatherings and/or to celebrate events. The decor had the usual elements that you would expect from such a place: crystal chandeliers, fish tanks, gold columns, and giant TV screens. We tried their 10-course banquet-style dinner that they were advertising for $488 (before tax) and I believe this special was only available on weekdays. Portion sizes were extremely generous, and they did not skimp on the ingredients either. The banquet courses included delicacies such as suckling pig, geoduck, whole fish, and lobster to name a few. This meal easily fed ten people, and we still had plenty of leftovers to take home. It was such a great value that towards the end of the evening the restaurant sold out of their banquet special. Overall, the food was pretty good...even though they did overcook the lobster. They have their own huge parking area, so it was super convenient. The dining area was very spacious. The service was casual and efficient. I went to dinner with no expectations, so I was pleasantly surprised. This place impressed my family that they even came back the next morning to try their dim sum.

The variety makes it especially fun when you're with a group since you can order a bunch of different things and share everything around the table. Also, the cart servers are truly superwomen/men! We started with the One Piece Mixed Salad (tofu skin, vermicelli noodles, woodear mushrooms, carrots, celery, seaweed, and peanuts, all mixed in a savory, acidic, and spicy dressed ) and the Shredded Potato Salad, both of which made for nice appetizers. We also had the Cold Skin Noodles (Liangpi), a bowl of wide, chewy noodles mixed with a savory sauce and topped with tofu puffs, shredded cucumber , bean sprouts, and a creamy sesame sauce. Hailing from Xi'an, the Braised Pork Pita Burger was fatty pieces of pork braised in a savory sauce, served in a dry round of "pita," but even better was the Spicy Cumin Lamb Pita Burger, which contained a tantalizingly spicy, flavorful filling of tender spiced lamb. The Signature Beef Bone Noodle Soup came with noodles in a simple broth, topped with three bone-in beef ribs. The meat on the ribs was rather tough and sinewy, and the soup on the bland side, but the presentation of the dish was definitely impressive. Finally, the House Special Braised Dry Noodle was a bowl of noodles topped with a savory sauce with lots of different dried ingredients including tofu, s mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms, and red bell peppers. For each noodle dish, you could select from a variety of noodles, but my favorite by far was the 2cm "General Wide" noodles, which had an amazing chewy texture. Overall, this was a great restaurant for authentic Northern Chinese noodle dishes and other eats. Everything came out from the kitchen in just minutes after we ordered. The tasty dishes came at a good value, and the service was super friendly too!

There seems to have some menu change since the last time we came. We ordered 2 dry noodles and a cold spicy pig ears appetizer. The pig ears were piled up with no fillers - something hard to find these days. You can select the type of noodles so I picked the widest while my husband picked the middle one. I love the el dente texture of the noodles giving it a bit of chew. My braised pork belly dry noodles was not dry... very watery which was not to my liking. I want my dry noodles with as little gravy as possible. The flavor was light despite all the gravy, but the veggies and one egg made it up. The house special dry noodles had just the right amount of gravy for taste but not enough ingredients. I was wondering why the restaurant is called One Piece... I guess the entire bowl of noodles is one piece noodle as it was hard to eat as all the noodles are tangled. No complaints here just need to be careful with the splashes on your shirt. Overall the food was good, service was decent as we were offered actual menu instead of only using QR code to order. The place was not small with plenty of table. A bit noise as with all Chinese restaurants.
