I found Albert through YELP and boy am I glad I decided to go with him. I had bamboo floors that just started to raise up and become buckled and uneven for apparently no reason. Albert came and he explained to me what can be done and what to expect. After some consideration, I decided to just replace the bamboo for luxury vinyl planks because LVPs are more moisture resistant. The flooring was beautiful after Albert installed it. I just got a house this month. It has hardwood flooring for the whole house except kitchen and bathrooms. The flooring itself doesn't look too bad. A lil late with the review but Albert did a great job with our hardwood floors in Feb! He was on time with his appt, masked and very professional. We met with several companies and Albert seemed the most honest and straightforward. On the initial walk through, he let us know our floors weren't that bad (Which we totally agreed--another company tried to get us to totally refinish while only seeing it via FaceTime!), so it only needed a more superficial polishing and a few coats. The job took about 2 days to allow for drying. After he was done, we noticed there were a few small missed spots and he came back soon after to fix them, no problem. So I really didn't want to write this review about Albert in case he got too busy for all my future jobs, but need to give credit where it's due. He recently finished installing and finishing solid white oak floors for my entire house, and as the owner/architect, I couldn't be happier! Just to highlight a few items: - cost was very competitive - talked me through several finish options and mockups so that we'd get the perfect natural, matte look we were going for (this took a lot of patience on his part!) - worked with me on getting all alignments perfect which was challenging given our house was very old and out of square - found time to accommodate a phased installation schedule so that I could move my family in early - very punctual, and even notified me before the days he was supposed to show up - attitude, attitude, attitude!
