They were friendly, professional team that showed up ready to work. They worked hard, moved many boxes and moved my piano. I mistakenly told them it was going to be a half a day job and I did not realize I had so much stuff. M & M movers did not complain at all. They literally almost worked 12 hours because they moved my mother in law and my family of five into a large home in Folsom. read more

Nothing but great things to say about this moving company. Here are some highlights - The owner JR responds quickly and addresses all question and or concerns. They arrived promptly at the scheduled time, very friendly, helpful, and most importantly did not add any additional stress to our already very stressful time of moving our mom. Thanks to everyone involved, seriously the best experience . Thanks for taking care of us and good care of all the furniture too . read more

M and M movers did an excellent job with our move. We had an awful experience during a prior move with another company. The owner of M and M, JR, was responsive, reassuring, diligent and honest. He stood behind his quote - which was very fair - and treated our belongings with care. His team came when they said they would and were thorough, careful and courteous. I cannot speak highly enough about M and M movers. I highly recommend them for local and long distance moves. read more

I've worked with JR 3 times now. He and his crew are extremely professional, quick, efficient, personable, stress free. He's moved me twice in San Jose, and from CA to WA, and his prices vs. others/ doing it on my own, saved me so much $$$$ and so much hassle. My parents even used him for their big out-of-state move a few years ago! 5 stars, 10/10 read more

Wow what can I say! I hate moving. Hate it. And I recently had to complete a long distance move for a work relocation. So I hired M&M Movers after looking at several other companies and man am I glad I did! This was the first time I hired movers and I was anxious about the process, especially with it being a long distance move. JR (owner) was easy to talk with, very responsive, and had a simple cost per hour fee; Unlike many other companies that made the cost complicated with extra fees. JR and his team showed up on time and they even brought an extra man to help speed along the process. They wrapped everything up, loaded thing's carefully, and arrived at the destination without delay. The unload was even faster and easier. I am so glad I went with M&M Movers- they really made what is usually a major headache for me so easy and simple! I would hire them again in a heartbeat! Highly recommend! read more

Very pleased and grateful for this team of movers. Rates were reasonable too! Everything from the start of holding the date, sending details of my moves and the official proposal, JR was very responsive! I had a couple different places to drop off my furniture. They worked very efficiently between location, timing, speed and even wrapping everything carefully. I wasn't too prepared packing some of items and they offered to help taping each bag or box. They also communicated well to ensure each item was delivered to the right room of the house. read more

From the beginning JR was very responsive and quoted me a great price for 4 guys and a truck. He was very up front with the charges and I'd say they were worth every penny. Additionally, when it was over we were not hit with hidden charges, as can so often happen . . . like for shrink wrap, use of blankets, tape etc . . . all that was included. Overall, they all were very professional, courteous and careful movers. They followed my instructions to the letter, paid attention to my labeling system, and put everything in the correct room in my new house without exception. When I next need to move I will certainly be calling JR and will be recommending M&M Movers to all my friends and acquaintances. Thank you JR for making a very stressful time that much easier :-) Cheers, Jonathan read more

Amazing service! Final cost was less than half the quote of other companies to move about 40 miles. M&M Movers showed up on time with an extra guy at no charge! They moved quickly and got the job done in just over 4 hours. Plus, took great care of my belongings, wrapping furniture keep it clean and undamaged. One thing to note, credit card payment incurs a small processing fee. Overall, a great bargain for the service provided. I high recommend M&M Movers. read more

We have used M&M twice now and will use them again! They arrive on time. They are experts in making stuff fit into their truck and the storage unit. They move quickly. Communication was easy. They were careful with all our furniture. One of our dining chair legs broke off (cheap chair that had problems before) and instead of ignoring it, they notified me right away so I was aware - I really appreciate the honesty! read more

I recently hired M&M Movers to help my parents move some heavy furniture. I was a bit worried because we were looking to move in the next few days and new years was around the corner. JR communicated very clearly & accurately via text & phone & face to face. He used smart safe techniques to move a very heavy wood dresser from a garage in Ripon into a tight spot in the rear of our house. It went quick with no careless risks to his crew & the our home & the dresser. All crew were neat clean & courteous. They were worth the cost too. It was HEAVY! read more

M&M movers helped me load a shipping container. They were extremely flexible which took a great deal of stress off of me when making a cross-country move. My shipping container cancelled on me day before the crew was supposed to come and help load the container. When I reached out multiple times to move my scheduled moving date and timeframe, JR was very understanding and was able to fit me into to a schedule that still worked with my tight timeframe. M&M took the time to wrap all items and handle them with care leaving me confident that my items would arrive across the country undamaged. Additionally, they worked quickly and were professional. I cannot recommend M&M movers enough. read more

We were extremely happy with the service we received from all the young men from M&M movers. So polite, professional, and did a fantastic job moving us to our new home. It's nice to see a company who really does value their employees, it shows in the work they do! read more

My lease was coming to an end & I needed to find a reasonable, reliable company that would accommodate my last minute planning. As I called around to a couple of companies & read a few reviews I came across M&M movers. Their prices were very competitive for a 3 man crew which was perfect. I reached out to the owner & made arrangements for the 31st of July at 9am. The morning of the 31st, 3 movers, in a nice size truck came approximately 0935am. They introduced their self's & wanted a brief tour as to what we were moving. Moving me out of my previous place, they did ok. Getting to my new residence was the issue. So they took about a 45 minute lunch, which was told to me it would be deducted (although we eventually ended up still paying for that time). As the crew begin to start unpacking the truck they tried to do their best to get the boxes out the truck & into my house fast, as I can understand they wanted to beat the heat.. One of the young guys didn't realize that there were multiple boxes stacked on top of each other & broke my children's fairly new wooden toy chest. They were apologetic & said they would see if their boss could take off a few dollars to compensate for this matter. When given our final price it was ultimately more than expected & we were told that only half of the price I paid for my kids wooden toy chest would be deducted. Next issue: A week later, as our move was in the middle of a business week. We finally had the chance to get our cable company to install our services. It wasn't brought to my attention until the tech pointed out that the top of my 75in 4K tv was literally cracked open at the top. When trying to turn the tv on & get it started, nothing. This tv was literally working, the same day the mover came as we watched tv until their arrival. Last issue: we were in the need to make a landfill stop to dispose of a few old couches we no longer wanted. Was given the approval from the owner that it would be ok & that we were "given a good deal" for this drop. As they left, I gave a call to a few good associates that actually work at the landfill & I mentioned that the company that moved me would be coming & to keep an out. To my knowledge the couches I paid to be dropped never made it to the local landfill, in addition to I received zero proof as far as a receipt of any sort to reassure me it was deposited properly. I wasn't going to do a review bc they were ok & I know personally I wouldn't recommend them. But w the damage of my tv, which only happens to be less than a year old, I wanted to share my experience. I will not recommend this company to anyone, nor will I use them again. read more

JR & his crew are awesome! The reviews don't lie. I was in a bind and needed my daughter's belongings packed up in Davis, CA and moved to her sister's place in Seattle. I called several places and no one wanted to move a relatively small amount of belongings to another state. JR said he'd consolidate our move with another customer's moving to Washington as well. When that customer couldn't commit to a date that worked for us, JR remained true to his word and moved her stuff anyway with 2 guys and 1 truck going hundreds of miles away. He is a definite lifesaver! read more

We were referred to M & M Movers and glad we hired them for our move from California to Oregon. They were professional, fast, respectful and polite. Some movers are shady, dishonest and take advantage of your moving situation but our experience with JR is he was honest, honorable and fair and got us moved out from and into our home out of state in 36 hours. I highly recommend JR and M & M Movers and will refer them to others. read more

We are extremely happy we decided to have M&M Movers get us to our new spot! We had a terrible experience with hiring professional movers just 6 months ago The Worst Experience Ever- so we were definitely hesitant to hire again. But we are wayyyyy too busy for a DIY, so we called M&M and the owner J.R. was able to reserve us on the day we requested, with the best quote, too. Fast and easy- good start. We made sure we were ready for the crew and, man, they were on time, worked quickly, worked SAFELY. They communicated with each other the whole time- making sure not to cause ANY damage to our belongings or the walls or floors along the way. They were polite and respectful and pleasant. Not to mention this was from Fremont to Lathrop on New Years Eve, a Friday. This experience compared to our last was like night and day. A great one! We'd use them again and again, and tell everyone who needs movers to give them a call. Worth your time and money. We made sure to call J.R. personally to thank him for the professional job. They did it right! Thank you we're finally home! read more

These guys really made moving look easy. As for many, moving a family can be very stressful. The te showed up on time with all equipment ready to safely prepare and transport our heavy furniture which had to come downstairs and go upstairs at the new location. I could not believe how fast they moved everything without any incident. Worth every penny. There was a minor issue with reassembly of my bed frame which I was able to work out and the company was very responsive in resolving as well as contacting me to ensure all was going well throughout the move. Definitely recommend this honest company. Thanks m&m! read more

Quick response time when requesting for a quote. JR is easy to talk to and accommodated my request to reschedule the move a week earlier. They arrived on time and they got to work right away. Even my four year old son had a great time they were kind to him and allowed him to help a little bit and he had fun talking with the four of them.
