I honestly don't know if this is how customers are normally treated or if I was being judged because I look young or because I'm a minority. I really liked the batter on the onion rings as I think it was executed perfectly and they helped to save the rest of the dish. Altogether, I'd enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. While one dish was lacking, the appetizer and my drink weren't. The prices were alright, a little steep but nothing I couldn't handle. The customer service was also really good as our waiter was kind and helped us with whatever we needed. Because my husband was performing next door that night, Mr. Kindig wanted to give me some cigars for free, but I told him that I'd like to pay the full price to support a small, local business. Both people I gifted the cigars to said that they were "very smooth" and "pleasant." Hearing that made me feel very fortunate to have crossed paths with this establishment.
