charged me so much and did a horrible job i kept trying to contact them again and won't even answer me.

First time using this company for vehicle repairs. The final product was good and the car returned clean. I had to deduct one star because they tried to return the car the first time without a quality control check and ended up having to keep the car for a few additional days to correct a repair and clean the car. However, they were willing to correct their issues and offer up a loaner car to offset the additional rental car costs. The other four stars given for their honesty, end-quality of repairs, loaner offered, friendly and patient attitudes, and friendly dogs. read more

Update: 31 Jan 2018 - Dropped my wife's Jeep Grand Cherokee off yesterday to get running boards installed and talked to Chandler on the phone the other day about pricing, installation and a time to drop off. We dropped the car off around 9 and most importantly...interacted with the cutest puppies there! They had a black lab who was super friendly/lazy and lounging about on the couch and a setter (or some pup that looks like a lab/rottie mix) and they were both adorable, friendly and enjoyed belly rubs! Sorry...got distracted by the dogs, but it was super easy to drop off, fill the form and I was on my way. The car was done by lunch and the price was the same as the quote I got over the phone!! My wife loves the running boards and we can't say enough great things about M&M Collision! read more

Like my wait time, this review is short: Vehicle calibration is done here. It's reasonable ($50 cash, no CCs or checks) and fast and easy depending on the time and day (mine took less than 5 minutes). Very straight forward and they know why you're there haha. read more

The shop is the best! My car had been keyed, and I went in last Saturday to get an estimate. The gentlemen there thought that the scratch could be buffed out. Not only did they buff out the scratch, they then told me their work was free of charge! So hard to find this type of genuine goodness in the world today. I am eternally grateful and recommend M&M Collision without hesitation! read more

Dont let these fake reviews fool you what a piss poor job and horrible attemp at a repair, my suv was in a minor accident it was ran into at a stop light. The man at faults insurance was to cover the repair which they did they were charged for all new parts on the rear of the SUV I had to bring bring it back once because the rear bumper was coming off when I noticed the rear bumper coming off I inspected it a little further none of the parts were replaced, they were just I guess heated and they replaced the tail lights with used ones I know this because the Chrome reflective material was starting to peel on the inside, and sorry ass excuse at repainting them it almost looks like a kindergartener did it with watercolor all the old plastic pieces are still scuffed on the bottom the exhaust is still pushed back the rear hatch wasn't opening and closing properly it was hanging up which is another reason is to my return they did something to get it from hanging up it appears like there's Bondo in the back and the paint is cracking off of it they did not put any of the vehicles emblems back on they instead handed them to me and said here you go these are got to go on the back they had the vehicle for over a month I would not recommend this place to a blind man to have his vehicle repaired I don't understand how this place has been in business so long they ripped off that man's Insurance Company and I feel robbed as well I just wanted my car back the way it was before it was hit at that stoplight to this day the bumper still coming off and it looks horrid that is not how Toyota made it and I know this because they make a quality product so beware if you choose the Shady auto shop because I'm almost 100% sure they will rob you too read more

My car was among the many vandalized lately with my window being smashed and the airbag stole. Once I finally connected with my insurance company, I made the round of calls to see who could do the repair, not an easy task these days. I spoke with Chandler who not only agreed to do the repair but took the extra steps to ensure the parts were available BEFORE the car was brought in. The thing that pleased me most, despite some delays that were not the fault of M&M ( I'm looking at my insurance company here), was thar I was kept informed about any delays and progress which I truly appreciated. Every phone call was handled pleasantly and with the utmost courtesy and professionalism. When I finally picked my car up, it was good as new. I'm really grateful for how pleasant the interaction was despite the circumstances. I'd highly recommend M&M for any body work. read more

I was referred to M&M by another highly rated body shop because all their rust repair guys has retired. Chandlor gave me reasonable price and quick turn around for the repair to my truck bed. I advise him that I was mostly interested in stopping the rust and was going to put the bed liner back it. The rust had moved from a seam on the floor up the side panel so it not all that easy. They made it look like new at the quoted price. Great job guys!! Yelp assigned me out of state but if should be Fairfax, VA. read more

If you ever get a speeding ticket in VA and someone suggests a speedometer calibration as a hail mary attempt to contest it, this place will do it for you! I called ahead to find out how this whole mess works and a super nice lady answered the phone and told me I could drop by any weekday between 8am-5pm without an appointment and that it would take less than 20 minutes. All I needed to bring was $50 cash. Since I'm not as well versed in these here parts of "The Commonwealth" I really had no idea where I was going but my good old GPS made sure it took me directly into the somewhat barren and semi residential looking building structure just off the highway. I pulled my car into the driveway, walked in and was helped right away, Totally forgot to bring cash, so they did the testing while I went across the street to the ATM. Upon completion of the tests, I was given a notarized slip with the results and was sent on my way. Totally and easy in and out experience with seemingly really nice folks working there. read more

Went in for a speedometer calibration and had a pleasant experience. The report came pre-notarized and I only waited for around 20 minutes. Although I found it odd that they didn't issue me a receipt especially since I paid in cash. I asked for a receipt and the individual that performed my speedometer test told me that my report is a receipt. This is the first receipt I've ever received that does not contain any dollar amounts. read more

M & M Collision - Not sure what this is - Auto Repair Near Me - Fairfax, Virginia

I wouldn't say that mechanics are known for their customer service but this place definitely ranks among the worst places I've been to. Went to get my speedometer calibrated and the guy behind the desk told me I had to pay in cash. I don't carry around $100 of cash in my pocket so I only had a credit card. (In fairness, the jerk did tell me on the phone to bring to cash, I just assumed they would take credit because their website said they did). After asking why they didn't take credit, the response I got was "because we don't". The guy working at the shop either lacked the brain power or the civility to come up with an answer (probably both) but either way I'd stay far away from this place and the rude people that work here. read more

I highly recommend M&M Collision. They kept me advised as to progress in body work and major mechanical repairs. Quoted a price and found more repairs needed but did not increase the price. They also did additional body work at no cost. Professional and made all repairs timely. In short, the price remained as quoted for all work. As my friend Jerry said , they are old school. They are very honest , skilled and just do the work. I would not hesitate to go back. John. Oct 30 2020 read more

Over the past 25 years, I have taken four different cars to Walt and his team for collision repairs or simply just repainting. They do wonderful work and return my car to me looking like new. On June 17th 2014 my vehicle; a 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution MR was towed from my parking garage at Archstone Fairchase due to striping of the garage. I misread the email and had the days mixed up on which levels were painted on what day. When entering my garage and seeing my vehicle missing I immediately went to ask the maintenance staff where it would be. It was simply towed to the top level. This wouldn't had been an issue IF the driver would had noticed my type of vehicle requires a flat bed. When the tow truck driver put the dolly under my vehicle he damaged my passenger side side skirt as well as "I'm guessing" -- dragged my car all the way up the garage from level one (where I park) all the way to level four. My car is an AWD (All Wheel Drive) vehicle which means when my car is in park and my emergency break is on all tires are locked. One could argue that the tow truck company did it the proper way yet I have damages so...? This led me to contact Dominion Towing. The gentleman by the name of Dwight assisted me and was actually very helpful. He personally drove out of his way to view the "damage(s)". Immediately he agreed the negligence was on their end. He then pointed me in the direction of M&M Collision. It's the third party Dominion Towing uses when or if something would happen to a vehicle they damage during a tow. I contact M&M and they simply said "bring the vehicle by on a Tuesday and we'll take a look at it for you. Now being someone who is familiar with taking his car to shops for parts and servicing and owning a performance vehicle I wasn't or am not used to just showing up somewhere with out an appointment. I come by on the Tuesday, mid day. Owner and or GM (Walt) comes out to view my car, jot down some information. Sent me on my way. Friday rolls around, I call to see where "we" are. I got the "sorry we have been real busy". Weekend passes; I call back on a Monday maybe Tuesday. "Hey we have the part in. It's in the back hanging up waiting to be painted". Let me add to the horror story by saying that I had to reiterate my story to every person who picked up my call. It get to be Friday, I call back and I finally speak with someone who started to notice how much of an inconvenience this has been. Real nice woman who handles the paper work and phone calls. She went ahead and contacted Walt directly. Got an answer for me and called me back saying "it'll be ready Tuesday or Wednesday". Weekend passes. I call back Wednesday. Young man who answered the phone says "oh yeah um, we just ordered the part today...." I said a few words he replies with "well, a 2005 side skirt was sent to us by mistake...". I hang up. I left my job JUST so I could make a face to face appearance to see what was going on. I get there. Speak to Walt. He apologized and simply said, "we've been busy". This led them to put a rush on things and said the part would be in Friday. I get a call saying the part was in and I could go get it installed. Friday I worked. Saturday was my only available day. Squeezed an hour in between my two jobs to get this side skirt installed. Shop is closed on this day and the nice gentleman who does the painting who stated (I'm just the painter) helped me out. Part installed. With all that being said... The wrong type of side skirt was installed. I'm at a loss for words. Maybe if I was paying money out of my own pocket I would had had a better outcome. Maybe before the year ends I'll have this taken care of. Until then, buyer beware. read more

M & M Collision - M&M Collision Center. - Auto Repair Near Me - Fairfax, Virginia

I called M&M last week to see about getting my speedometer calibrated. The lady who answered the phone was friendly and was able to answer all my questions. She said I didn't need an appointment and it would take about 30 minutes. Because I have an all-wheel drive car it would be $75. I showed up at 9AM on Saturday and they took the car in and knocked it out for me. The guy I spoke with who did the calibration was real friendly and personable. read more

I told them when I dropped it off I expected it to be perfect like it just came off the factory...told me it would look better than factory quality.. Ok...the good: They say they back their work forever...I had a dent in my passenger rear quarter panel and nicks on the front bumper...insurance was going to pay for the rear panel...they said they would fix the front bumper for free I took it back once and they made it look better The bad: This still doesn't look great. They got clearcoat on the "SLT" logo behind the rear door...run on the front bumper...gouge about 1 foot over from the area they fixed for free...not taken care of Still a groove in the rear panel...doesn't look good Still a dimple on the front bumper. PAINT OVERSPRAY ON THE WINDSHIELD!!!! I took it back originally with a dimple in the front bumper...bump sticking out in the back...and OH YEAH...the paint wasn't even close to matching the shade....looked silver...our car is gold... One could argue I should take it back and get it fixed per their warranty...you are right...I figure I gave them 2 chances...I don't want to be without our car again, change car seats...etc... Also, the top part of my chrome front grill was stripped from where the tape ripped off the chrome. Went to talk with Walter, said it wasn't his doing. I have a pic of my car 3 days before taking it in with no damage.. Complaint filed with the BBB. They do a crap paint job....trying to turn over product as fast as possible.. Go to MAACO...you will get a better product for less money.. Would never go back to this place! read more

Don't waste your time. If you are going t this place for a speedometer calibration, don't bother. They will just take your money (cash only) and then tell you your speedometer is fine or off by 1 or 2 points. Unfortunately, this won't help much in your favor if you plan on disputing a speeding ticket. By the way, they have never heard of customer service. read more

M & M Collision - Unassuming facade to a great auto body shop! - Auto Repair Near Me - Fairfax, Virginia

There are certainly fancier body shops, but Walter and his team do great work at a reasonable price. My car had a major dent in the hood and a couple body shops gave me the same solution to fix it: replace the hood for $2500. When I went by M&M, Walter actually opened the hood, assessed the damage, and said he would try to pop the dent out and refinish it. Three days later, the hood looked new, the paint match was perfect, and he even took car of a bunch of stone chips along the fascia. Total cost was $850. read more

I am giving this business 3 stars because the staff is not abiding by social distancing guidelines - Walter came within 6 feet of me, did not wear a mask, and questioned by I was "spooked" by the pandemic. He otherwise gave me a fantastic service. I am writing this review so that other would-be customers who are abiding by CDC guidelines can bring their car elswhere. read more

I took my car in for body repair but also asked them to look into an electrical short in the door. They fixed the auto body work well, but never even tried to fix the door but lied and instead told me they did not find a short. I had already assumed it was a short because it is a common issue with town and country vehicles. I checked for the short myself and found the broke. Wire in less than 5 minutes. Be very wary what they tell yoi. read more

Very good price for a job well done, professional and great communication. A very smooth process with great customer service.

Quick, friendly and fair service. Clean waiting area. A very well-run business.

Very confused why when I call for an estimate to have my speedometer calibrated it costs $75 yet when my dad calls the exact same day about the exact same car, it costs him $50. It angers me that a company thinks they can get away with treating young women like this. read more

My wife was hit while parked by a very nice man, the man instructed us to contact M and M and not going through his insurance company. Was involved in an accident and originally went to another auto body shop in Fairfax. Was given an estimate for a total of $5,500. After doing quick searches online for some of the parts, I found many online for cheaper, but that shop refused to use anything but new original factory parts. Sent estimate to M&M, they gave me a rough estimate of $3,500 based on ordering a couple parts used & cheaper labor / paint rates per hour. Also, they found told me the other shop was including an $800 part that could be bent back into place. Total ended up being $3,500. Very pleased with the work. Paint wasn't an exact match the first time so they redid it, but now it looks great. read more

My family and I have been coming to Walter and his crew for years whenever we need help with any of our cars. Service is fast and reliable. I have never had an issue with their business. I dropped off my car last night after business hours to fix an ugly scratch. There is drop off key that's super convenient. Great service, super fast, with AMAZING work! I just got my car back from M&M and I am beyond thrilled. I never write reviews but based on their work it was the least I could do! I had an unfortunate accident in a parking garage about a week ago leaving my rear passenger door and rear quarter panel in pretty sad shape (on a car that is less than a year old, yikes!). I took the car to 4 different shops - M&M clearly won out! Not only was their owner/entire staff incredibly accommodating but the price was competitive and they didn't try to take advantage of the fact that I was a woman - one of the other shops totally jacked up the price by about 2x what it should have been. AND M&M got me my car back in 3.5 days (the other shop quoted me 8-13 days). Plain and simple - I would recommend them to anyone. It isn't a frilly place with a huge waiting room and coffee while you wait but these guys know what they are doing and get the job done well/quickly. I really can't thank them enough for all the help! read more
