    Charging me for "poor" service

    My experience with Metko started out great then ended very bad. He was highly recommended by a friend's friend saying she knew him for over 10 years. My Jen Air stove top igniter wasn't working , he came and said it needed to be replaced and to pay him for the parts so he can order it. Since he was so highly recommended, I did not hesitate to pay him $140 for the part. He said he will call when part came in. Two months past and no call from him. I called multiple times, left him messages both text and voice, no response. Finally got in touch with him, he said he will call me to let me know when he can come. Again, no call from him. Again, after multiple calls and text, he came. When he came, he said he had the wrong parts and started to blame "them" who sent the wrong part. He said he will get the right part and call me when he gets the part. I asked are you sure you will call me, it was so hard for me to get you to come back. He promises to call. Another month passes, no call from him. I call and text him again multiple times but no response again!!! I finally texted him asking for my money back if he cannot fix my stove. He had cashed my check in August and now it's November. After multiple calls and text, I finally get a response from him saying he will refund the parts money but deduct $40 for "poor" service(see photo). I asked why he's charging me when he couldn't fix the stove and he starts to get upset saying it's for coming to my house. I told him to keep the $40, just refund me the rest. He promises to Zelle me that night but ,again, took me three days to receive the money after having to text him couple more times. I cannot recommend him at all! Very bad.

I especially appreciated their same day delivery on both occasions when I was replacing my older fridges that stopped working suddenly. Today I had another old fridge take a dive, but suspected/hoped it might be saved. I called to verify that they did repairs on units not purchased through their store, and spoke with Nancy. She said they did, and that she could have a tech to me in less than an hour!! Rudy showed up about 40 minutes later, and was able to very quickly diagnose a faulty fan that he was able to fix just as fast. He was polite and efficient, and he didn't try to upsell us on anything. A refreshing professional. I will continue to make SoCal my first choice for any appliance needs for sure.

We were also able to request for them to pick up our old washer & dryer for an additional fee. Totally worth it. Rudy and Paolo delivered our new appliances the next day, today, and were thorough and attentive when installing them. We were informed our gas valve needed to be replaced along with a longer gas hose. With our permission at an additional low cost, Rudy was able to restore said items quickly and asked if we had any questions or concerns after installation was complete. Thank you to Rudy and Paolo for your professionalism and great service. We will continue to shop from Team SoCal Appliances!

    I purchased my new washer from L&D via phone and subsequent email correspondence. The one I first…read morewanted was back-ordered till mid-Aug so they suggested another one, which was the model right below the original. The suggestion was less expensive ($70 less), removing features that I would not use anyway. I was very appreciative of the suggestion and the fact that it was a less expensive model that would be delivered in accordance to my preferred delivery timeframe rather than a more expensive suggestion. The sales associate I was working with even added washer hoses that I forgot to request and made them optional in the event I decided to re-use my current fill hoses (ended up using the new ones). The day of the delivery and install was even better. The delivery/installation guy gave me my 30 minute notice call 15 mins prior to the 4-hour delivery window. He explained where he was first going and that I would be next. This helped me gauge the accuracy of his time estimate because he was going to a neighboring city, so I knew it was a fairly accurate estimate. I was surprised he would be on-time/early. I was expecting to be in the middle/latter half of the delivery window. The total uninstall, haul-away, delivery, install, and clean-up of my old and new washing machine was 35 minutes. The installer was friendly, professional, and a joy to chat with, especially because my dog kept barking the whole time. He was very careful when delivering and installing the new unit. That was definitely a tough task because it was a hot day. He even asked for towels so that he could wipe up the residual water (and bonus he also ended up cleaning up my floor). My wife used the new washer 3 times in the first 2 days. It worked well and has been since that install day. I realize there are negative reviews of this place, but I believe they've recently brought in new personnel who are trying their best to correct these aforementioned issues.

I called today, 12/04/2024, and I know it is the holidays but they are a business that is not necessarily busy. The receptionist was combative, unprofessional and would not direct me to the right person I needed to seek out to make a showroom appointment. We will take our thousands of dollars of potential business to somewhere else. Hello Pacific Sales ???
