No one should live like that. Chris and his crew stepped in and cleared out all rooms, taking many items for donation and other items to be trashed. They cleared out his kitchen which had so many canned/boxed food items that were expired. Chris even moved items so they weren't a tripping hazard, he pointed out fire hazards too. He did all of this with compassion and understanding, even recommending a company to help with ongoing cleaning/care to avoid my relative's place returning to its unlivable state. He even provided tax documents for donated items. I live out of state and couldn't be there, and Chris communicated with me throughout the process, sending me videos as he progressed. I even got quotes from competitors who weren't as compassionate or affordable. I highly recommend Orion's Attic!! Chris is amazing!!

Three hours and $15 later, it was ready for pick-up. The band looks excellent and fits even better. Things to know about CK Jewelers: 1) You have to be buzzed into the store. The shop is small and staffed only by Chris and his son (I assume it's his son). It's also located in the lobby of a busy office building with lots of foot traffic. Having to be buzzed in to gain entry is their extra security measure. 2) At first, Mr. Kourkoulakos may seem grumpy; even gruff, perhaps. He's not. 3) Aside from doing repair work, there's a lovely selection of bijoux for sale as well. Small, family run shop + convenient location + great, speedy service + fair prices = Yay! We're fans.

Everyone in line commented about it. They had a signup sheet, but had apparently left it out over night, so when I got there very early, I was already number 13. Fair enough. And that's usually good enough to get into a first group. But waiting for each group of four to complete their shopping was too much to ask; I had already wasted enough time and gas to be there. I have seen a single person handle a sale in a packed house better. This house was not so full as to be impassable for a much larger group. Doubt me? Here are photos: https://www.estatesales.net/MD/Rockville/20853/4134741 Do some folks pay to be first on the list to have the place to themselves? I have no idea. But if a company wants four people in their sale, I'd recommend they not broadly publicize it.
