With the lack of good pizza options in the area, I found this place on Apple Maps and thought I'd…read moregive it a try. It is, in fact, a tiny "general store" that is inconspicuous and easily missed. It sits right on a two-lane coastal "highway," barely 1/4 mile from Lake Michigan, but would just as likely be found in some backwater Alabama swamp (not an insult, just an ambience). They have a small deli in the back and the young unassuming young guy making pizzas and other baked goods. He seemed nice, albeit so what suspicious. There was also a quintessential old farmer-type playing lottery scratch-offs by scratching off the barcode without actually playing the game on the front, then communicating with the cashier woman on a first name basis (Sarah). What a weird experience. I'm always interested in the colorful characters these tiny little towns and their stores. The pizza? Some of the best I've found south of Holland. The sauce had a hint of sweetness, and the crust had a couple of semi burnt bubbles that added to the delicious crunch of the crust. The taste may not be worthy of a five, but certainly a Midwest tiny-town-in-the-middle-of-nowhere five, and certainly worth a visit for pizza, miscellaneous baked goods... or beer, wine, and lottery.

Times when coming in with coupons for tobacco products, they say they don't except them, their items are over Priced even for convenience, and besides that man is not very friendly to myself. Today was one of those days where I said you know what you no longer deserve my loyalty. What I mean by that is I live less than .2 miles away from a store that has the same items I purchase. I pass that place to go to miles to the store. I now realize a big mistake. I've seen people walk in there and ask them to puncheon their daily three daily four numbers without a slip. When I came in, I'm asking to purchase a re-charge card. They don't have the slip for it and I asked him. Will they look on the machine to see if they can see it. I tried to explain to them that it was like a gift card and they automatically were like no we don't sell gift cards. I understand that I said I'm just trying to give you an example of what I'm trying to buy. They said no they don't wanna look on the lotto machine. It's one thing if somebody couldn't figure it out after looking, but for them, they didn't care they weren't going to even try. Another thing I don't like is that when you go to pay with card, they have to Take the card from your hand they bring it behind the counter, after they swipe it, they hand it back. Does anybody remember that one store that made news getting busted because there was a video camera and they were like recording credit card numbers through a video camera when they swipe it and then hand it back to the customer? Well, I guess when I am handing my card over to someone, I really don't know and they're not completely in my eyesight, I just don't know what they're doing with my information. Emailed Marbro and American spirits, they said if our products sell their way except the coupons no special permission for merchants to except them. What I've come to realize is small business owner, I thought could earn my business since I am moved into the area, If they can lie to me when I'm giving their business money. They don't deserve my loyalty. It's a shame you can see the kids playing out in the yard at the liquor store and it just doesn't really seem only adult type business. I liked coming here besides the mishaps I've dealt with when I came in, or when I brought others in. A sidenote, I heard they owned a business before, or someone in the family. I guess that store got closed down. I haven't found out what the name of the store is so I don't know how accurate the information is. Maybe somebody reading this review can help answer that question. It just kind of seems certain things that are OK to do they're not taking a chance because they don't want to get in trouble. I get that I'm not trying to tell people how to run their business, but not accepting merchant coupons for products that they sell in their store it just seems there's more to the story than them just saying no. I wish they treated me better. They may not see my purchases being a big amount, but in the long run they had items in there that would've kept me coming in daily. Now I will never tell people about that place when coming to visit me and hope that they get in trouble from the businesses for not excepting the offers on the savings for the customers. I would not recommend this place, doesn't matter if you are like a lot of the people in the area who have property taxes does amount to around 30,000 a year that's not me. But they still would've made more money smaller increments than the few times big buys when having big events type people in mansion. It's not a race thing, just a class thing. Well, I guess maybe a race thing, because they may have thought I was broke. But one of those other big by type mansion, only people, they would've at least looked into it for them. I wish they wouldn't judge and just tried to help the customer out on some thing that wasn't too unreasonable when seeing them punching in lotto numbers for others on the lotto machine besides what I was asking for is easier than that on the lotto machine to do. geez.

A very diverse wine selection with wines from all over the United States and the world. If you're…read morelooking for the perfect Cab to have with dinner, or the right Chardonnay to relax on the porch with then you'll find it here. A cool part about the wine isle here is it is ornately decorated. The shelves, and decorations make your feel like you're in a wine cellar and there are cards with information about the styles of wine and different bottles. Very cool. However the wine here is much more expensive than anywhere else. Most of the time you'll overpay for a bottle by about 2-3 dollars versus getting it from Meijer or a liquor wholesaler. Also, I came here for milk once and they had milk that was expired by 3 days. This was very discouraging. I haven't had to buy milk here again since but I'd be hesitant to make it my first choice over going down the street to Wiersmas. Another issue I have with this place is the same issue that plagues small, family owned grocery and convenience stores. That is that there is usually a minimum on the amount you need to spend in order to pay with a debit/credit card. Here is it $10. For me this is an issue because I don't carry cash on me and I usually don't come to a store like this to purchase more than $10 worth of items. There is an ATM here but you have to pay a fee in order to use it which doesn't make it worth it. Because of how close this place is to where I live I'll likely find myself here from time to time for quick items. But I won't buy a lot of wine here. And if there was a more convinient option I would go there instead.
