Lakeshore is awesome! So they have pizza slices and cheesecakes and other random delicious Togo. You can also order some delicious ahead of time (see their menu) and they have it ready for you. They also DELIVER FOOD AND BEER! it's awesome. I also know they give back to their community, which is something that means a lot to me. It's a clean store with kind workers who have hot food, quick snacks, refreshing drinks and adult beverages. Oh and they have ICE! I get that often before heading to da beach! read more

This is the best place in Douglas to buy all of the important things for your stay. Their pizza is amazing, as is the rest of the menu. The staff is beyond friendly and accommodating. As a local, I've loved this place for years. Mask up to walk in, be respectful of others' space, and be grateful for the service you receive while there. We swung by this place on the way to our cabin for some BEEEEERS. Decent selection, not outstanding. It seems as though they also make pizzas....we didn't get any from here though. We would probably come back if we needed more booze. read more

My girlfriend and I ordered a pie here after getting foxed out of all the high end restaurants in downtown saugatuck. We ordered onion on both halves, and split green pepper and green olive on each side. We drove over to pick it up, the place is as advertised, a convience store that has a pizza oven in the middle. The pizza was not as ordered (olives everywhere). I've had much better pizzas, but it beat starving. Quality comparable to Hot and Ready at twice the price. read more

THE POT ROAST SANDWICH IS TO DIE FOR. $18.85 for two 12 inch subs and I would pay that (or more) every single time. The meat is perfectly tender, the bun is the perfect ratio to the meat, and the Swiss cheese is normally melted to perfection. We have yet to try the pizza here because it's impossible to go to this joint without getting a pot roast sandwich. Maybe one day we will venture out to try the pizza, but for now we'll stick to our fantastic sandwiches. The service is always friendly & the restroom is clean. Lots of liquor and pop choices, but the sandwich is the reason to stop. We drive to Chicago from GR about once a month and stop either coming or going (sometimes both). Big fan & figured I'd clue y'all in to quite possibly the best bite in town. Give it a try! You won't regret it! read more

Went out of their way to order something for me, despite it not being something they stock. very personable, and we are always treated like family. The owners are very caring, and thoughtful. I know we are in uncharted territory with the pandemic, and I am so grateful that they respect my safety by wearing masks, and constantly cleaning. Super clean!! Some may get upset that they have to wear a mask, but they can simply shop elsewhere. Personally I do not want to patronize an establishment where the safety of customers is not respected, and money is the only concern. Thank you so much for thinking of the customer first, and your employees, despite the risk of losing customers who simply won't wear a mask for other's safety. Best pizza in Douglas/Saugatuck, yes I know that sounds crazy but it is true. Pizza crust is great and prices are reasonable.

Just stopped in for a few toiletries and found this little hole in the wall to be exceedingly friendly and useful.

The pizza smells great. I just wish it had flavor. Very bland sauce and crust. Go to the grocery store a block north for a Jacks Pizza (cheaper and better, however still not good) and a much better beer selection. read more
