Not all gas stations are the same when it comes to consistently offering decent prices, friendly…read morestaff, and clean facilities. I like certain brands that generally do well with these criteria and Speedway is one of those brands. I use an App called GasBuddy to locate lower gas prices while traveling and Speedway shows up frequently; that's how I found this location. It was located immediately off the Interstate so it was easy to re-enter the highway. The pumps area was clean, the quick mart well stocked, and the staff was friendly. The only confusing part was that someone decided that the exit, entrance, and Speedway should all be on a roundabout! The confusion was due to being able to see everything but having to be careful about where and when to turn as it was a tight circle with more ins and outs than I expected including some one-way and do-not-enter signs! But somehow I was able to figure it out and get on my way.

On our most recent visit my husband picked up an energy drink, of which they had loads of options. We both used the restroom, we concluded that the men and women bathrooms were clean. The employees weren't super talkative which didn't really give us a vibe of who they were but they weren't rude so that's a plus. Overall not a bad stop, but as a seasoned traveler I do have favorite gas station stops and this just isn't one of them unfortunately.

I moved out of the area to Indianapolis, but I drive between Indy and Saugatuck on a weekly basis during the summer. I was happy to find a lone little Wesco down in Coloma that's only a few miles off my course, and one I certainly venture off of in order to grab fuel, cookies and popcorn. I stopped in yesterday and a very cheerful lady was behind the counter ringing people up. I grabbed a order of cookie bites that advertised $0.05 cents off fuel with purchase and she inspected the receipt and noticed it wasn't on there. She suggested that I call their Customer Service department and ask about the discount, but not thinking, I walked out and dropped the receipt in the trash. My fault.. but I appreciated her looking at it and noticing and calling it out to me.
