Eh this place is okay. It's fun for a night out. Throughout the dinner they have a latin singer on the mic. It's decorated very cute in there. The drinks are okay but i would advise against having dinner here. The portions are SMALL. The Greek salad is so small; it's basically a cucumber and some olives. We had an order of the cod croquettes they were okay. They were out of the cheese ones. We were so hungry that afterwards we ordered a side of truffle fries to fill us up. Again, a very small, soggy portion. The burger actually looked quite good, but I did not try it. Other than that, at 11pm, the music started! It turned into a more fun clubby vibe. I went to this newish piano bar with a couple of girlfriends. We were really excited and had high expectations. 2 of us get there and there's a bouncer at the front. We had reservations and they let us in, but I wonder if it's hard to get in otherwise. They wouldn't seat us until the 3 of us arrived, so the 2 of us went to the small but cute bar by the entrance. The drinks were tasty and strong. The decor in the entire restaurant is gorgeous, vibrant and tropical, we loved it. When our other friend arrived, we were seated at a table right by the door to the kitchen. What a terrible placement! The place was pretty packed and I guess lots of reservations, so there weren't any other tables available. The staff going in and out was very distracting. So we thought there was going to be a piano man singing, but it was actually a piano player and separate singer. They were good, but frankly they were playing a lot of Latin American songs that we didn't really know (and we're all Cuban American). Many others seemed to know the words and were singing along and dancing. But it was also so loud it was hard for us to talk to each other. On a high note, the food was quite good! The cauliflower appetizer was amazing and we also loved our chocolate dessert. However, service was subpar; one of the girls wasn't eating and maybe the server didn't want to serve us because we were a low consumption table (although based on other reviews, service just doesn't seem to be that good). Also, the bathroom was not in the restaurant but far away in the adjacent hotel or residential building; I actually got lost coming back to the restaurant. The food and drinks were great, but the service, loudness and inconveniences were not good, so I'm splitting down the middle with 3 stars. read more

Fabulous place! The decor, ambiance and staff are outstanding. The piano player and singer are spectacular. What a fun place! Very lively and upbeat. Live music with dj as well. We only ordered appetizers and a salad and the portions were small but tasty. Definitely returning - we all had a great time. read more

Pensamos que el lugar era un lugar decente .. pues no es más que otro antro de Miami, donde la educación y respeto a los clientes no es su prioridad. El señor de seguridad en mala forma y groseramente( acostumbrado me imagino a tratar personas como delincuentes ) se metió dentro del grupo donde bailábamos y en mala forma le dijo a mi esposa que se pusiera inmediatamente los zapatos y que incluso la escoltó a la mesa. Nos quejamos del trato con el manager y nos dijo que eso no era problema de ellos, que seguridad era una compañía contratada. Decidimos irnos y al salir el señor de seguridad aún decide sacarnos el dedo del medio en señal de burla y delante del manager incluso nos reto diciendo : si quieren fotos tirenmela de frente, como si él no se viró de espalda al hacer el gesto ! I want to start out with a positive which is the decor is super super cool. I love the way it's decorated and it's fun and lively and colorful. I also want to say that the staff is wonderful. Every single person that I came across was so nice and welcoming and gracious. Now let's leave some blood on the page. I wish I didn't have to but I do. First of all the music was so obnoxiously loud from beginning to end that I cannot hear one word that the other member of my party was saying. So I did my darndest to do some lip reading And of course it was like voice to text it were many typos and many misunderstandings. They started out with very loud ballads from Latin America which I adore but I didn't really recognize any of them but that's OK it was so loud that my eardrum probably was not going to register. Then later in the evening a singer came out that I found to be talented and charming but a few decibels above anything normal. But the place started to be happening and before you're not half the place is full. So that goes to show you that " Los colores se inventaron por los gustos", Or something like that which basically means different strokes for different folks. I will tell you that the hearing impaired will love it here. Now regarding the libations and the food. My friend wanted a glass of wine and the white wine he wanted they only had one brand and it was $25 a glass. That is so odd to me that I won't even go there. So we ordered cocktails. I ordered croquettes as an appetizer and they were very very tasty but I have to say that half of them were cool in the middle which leads me to think that they came from restaurant depot at war at one point thawed out and brought to me. I then ordered the duck and surprisingly it came over with some risotto which I adore risotto but this looks like it also came from "restaurant depot" because the risotto, I had, i to scrape with a knife from the bottom of the pan which meant that it was heated and reheated. The irony is that it was tasty. So there you go. Go to "Mistico"and come to your own conclusions. read more

We went discarding all the negative reviews, but sadly I don't really understand most of the positive ones unless they're from friends and family trying to give them some support. The booking system is a mess, the restaurant was empty and they couldn't move our table because "everything was booked" (we only started to see people coming one hour and a half later). The food is just "ok", not worthy what you're paying for it (chewy short rib, tasteless steak tartar, same factory desserts that everyone has...), and the vibe... was ok when the restaurant was empty but when the piano show ended and the nasty loud music started, trust me, you don't want to be there anymore. Went with my husband on a Saturday had the best time. The food, the service, the restaurant after 11:00 is a party. Loved it. We will be back. I just hope next time we can sit closer to the center. read more
