Scheduling was easy, they showed up when they said they would, and the technician took the time to explain what was going on and what the options were before starting any work. The repair itself was done quickly and cleanly, and the quality is obvious, everything works perfectly and they left the area in great shape. What really stood out was the pricing: it felt genuinely fair for the scope of work, with no surprise add-ons or "gotchas" once they were on site. Professional, transparent, and high-quality. If you need a plumber in the Twin Cities, I'd absolutely call Randy's again.

He clearly did not realize I had the City Code person out prior and knew exactly what work I needed. Soon after he left, he sent a really rude, nasty email claiming it would take him hours to quote relatively simple jobs, and claimed he could not be bothered to draw up quotes. I responded back, how rude and asked what he found confusing or difficult. He responded with another really mean, nasty, uncalled for email. I am unsure if it is because I'm a woman, or whether he's just no longer fit to be dealing with customers with large jobs. I recommend skip them. Sad, because they had done small projects for me in the past. If you do use them, only for 1 singular project at a time. Nordeast Electric team won my business on price and reputation. Jake and his apprentice methodically and diligently completed the work with minimal cuts to the interior house. One was ridiculously high (this is our second install plus another at my mother-in-laws, sister-in-law's, and our son's, so we have a pretty good idea about costs and what increases that cost). Hitech was responsive, knowledgeable, reasonably priced and when they came out, there was an experienced electrician training a young journeyman electrician. They were both nice and made sure we were happy with the job. 18 months after intallation, my car started to send a message that it was sensing heat at the outlet and was turning off. When I called Hitec, they were very responsive and sent a tech out the next morning. He said they have not had any issues with the boxes, but he would check everything out. The only thing he found was that one of the four screws was not tight. He tightened it and told me that if I got a message again, to call them right back and they would send someone out to redo the work. We have not had any other issues. Their great reputation, immediate response and willingness to make sure the work is done right means we'll use them again for any future electrical work.
