It was my first time getting waxed, ever!! Read all the glowing reviews and decided to choose this…read moreboutique. BEST CHOICE! Wency is so professional and kind. She answered all my questions and made the whole experience super comfortable. I arrived 5 minutes early and filled out paperwork. Then Wency showed me to the room (beautifully furnished) and instructed me on how to get ready. She left the room while I got dressed (I really appreciated the privacy of these moments). The whole process took 16-20 min. I thought I had good pain tolerance (I have many tattoos) but boy, did I underestimate the pain of a Brazilian Wax. Wency was very patient: she told me when to take deep breath and talked to me to distract from the pain. I felt really good after the appointment. Will be coming back in 5 weeks for maintenance! I liked the online booking system as well, fast and simple.

I've been going to Waxmi regularly for the past 4 years, and every time, Wency is professional, thorough, clean, and such a pleasure to interact with. Waxing obviously isn't fun, but she makes it almost painless (for real!) and she has a gift for lightening the mood and taking the awkwardness out of it. She has become such an integral part of my hygiene routine, to the point where I see these regular appointments with her as self-care. I'm very prone to in-grown hairs and I never have an issue with her, she's literally that good!! Booking with her is easy and she checks in beforehand too so you can reschedule if needed, without paying any fees. She's a lovely person and is so great at what she does! 5 stars every time, 11/10!!

She had a weird technique that made the nails clumpy, uneven and different lengths. I repeatedly asked her why she was doing this technique and she consistently responded by saying she doesn't know how. The technique she used burned my hands in the light and hours after the appointment my nails were in sever pain #ouch. She also said it would take 2 hours and 30 mins to do nails which is a hell of a long time for gel. The final product was horrendous and i refused to pay for them. The ladies at the front desk were not helpful and understanding. They were bitchy to both my mom and me. #willnotbegoingback The waxing is great but don't get extensions there EVER!! PERIOD
