I have to say, it was a bit hard to get ahold of him, but once I did, he was quick to schedule and come out. He was very upfront and honest in his verbal report about the foundation issues of this property, and gave a general price range for potential repairs as well as how long the current structure would last. Although we didn't end up purchasing the property, we were thankful for Jonathan's explanations and level of expertise on this matter that potentially saved us hundreds of thousands down the road. Structural Dynamics was great to work with. I just purchased a house with structural issues. My…read morefoundation was unstable on the back corner and my utility window and garage door will not open. I knew this was going to be a costly project and I wanted it done right the first time. I spoke with many home builders since they would be more familiar with structural issues and I was recommended Ted at Structural Dynamics. I called and Ted answered; provided me with a written detailed estimate. I had several questions after and he returned all my call right away. He did tell me they were a few weeks behind due to the weather and I was ok with that since I had to move the AC unit for them to do the job. During that time Ted answered all my calls and text me with possible start dates. Project started a few weeks after and they were very clean and organized. Ted texted me what days they would work and days they were not. They completed the project in less than a week. The house is back to normal and it looks like they were never there. The cracks are closed up and there is no longer a dip in the kitchen and utility room. The utility window and side garage door now open. I would definitely recommend Structural Dynamics. We needed to know why our back porch was slightly slanting on an angle before building a new deck around it. Marcus found the issue, a half eroded support beam (from water damage) beneath the porch. And provided an inspection of the old deck's support beams. Thankfully won't have to replace the foundation support beams of old deck, just some repairs and addtl reinforcements. So not a total tear down. That will save us some cash. His inspection fee was reasonable, though he does charge extra if you'd like a formal report sent, which we didn't know about, but asked for so that we could communicate appropriately with the contractor we will hire for the repairs. He sent report 4 days later. Quick turn around. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to anyone. Gave us peace of mind. And in our situation, not as bad as we thought.
