He listened to…read moreeverything I wanted and he wrote up a very detailed plan on how he was going to do the project which I really appreciated. He even made a sketch of the proposed concrete work which helped me know he understood exactly how I wanted the patio to look. He would ask me mid project what I thought of things so far which was really nice because he kept me in the loop as it progressed. The tooled joints were the perfect size and looked really good. The pitch was perfect. They installed a really nice expansion joint to protect my house foundation which was really important to me They even protected my house from concrete splatters by covering it with protective plastic. Craig made sure that every detail that was important to me was covered. It couldn't have been a better experience. So happy with my patio!

But upon completion back in September, Dan stated he would seal at no cost "a month after" - that didn't happen. His commit to doing so is the only reason we didn't do it. As a result, it got beat up with the constant weather events and will need to be resurfaced. But second: we contracted with him to do a gutter replacement well in advance of the forth coming rain. It took almost 4 months before he showed. He offered a discount off of the price; then when he finally did show, he only removed some of the existing gutter and left without installing any new. He even left his ladder behind for some reason. Multiple emails for followup status have gone unanswered. It's the lack of communication and unfinished task (which can cause roof damage) that forces star drop. Previously he had indicated that they moved "far up north" - so it's possible he needed to change his service area but hasn't. That's on the business though; if you accept a job and money for the job, you complete the job as agreed. Which might mean something as simple as booking a hotel nearby for a week until the job is done or something.
