A woman doing a pedicure took one look at us, quickly looked away before telling us there would be an hour wait. She didn't even ask what service we wanted. I explained that we had called ahead and was told to come in and I swear I could sense her realizing that the very polite and "proper" voice actually belonged to the woman in front of her. I was in with my two daughters. We had a mani, acrylic fill and a full set. Unfortunately we all had challenges with our service result. My mani chipped in less than 24 hours on 6 nails. My daughter with the fill had too much polish applied to one of her thumbs and it was noticeablely darker than the other nails. My daughter wuth the full set had oversized acrylic put on her nail beds and her finished nails look unnatural. We have been in to this salon many times before and have had good service and amazing results. Sadly because of our experience this visit we will not be back and will not recommended this business. My mom & I went here for her birthday to get pedicures done. We walked in without any issues, the chairs were comfy, everything was really clean & the ladies were very nice. They lasted 6+ weeks! For two gel pedicures it was around $100 before tip. We'd go back again! read more

I came here back in May for my friends pre-wedding nails. They did such a great job and I have gone back twice since. I live in Rochester so I always make a point to stop in when I'm visiting the cities. They have a ton of colors to choose from, especially with both gel and dipping powder. My nails last a month or so which is great for me! I will definitely keep coming back. Truc and Chao (sorry for any misspelling) are my favorite. They also ask if you want a drink when you sit down, and give you a mini back massage as well. Just a couple extra perks! read more

I was there on 8/4/20 and usually I have a pretty good experience here. This time I had Paul. Manicure was ok, not great. Way too expensive. I did not get $45 worth of a manicure. I didn't even get offered a water. Just hollered at to pick a color when I walked in. He didn't speak at all and went to fast. My other complaint is that they don't have anyone there that can do decent nail art. The salon is very clean and they have plexiglass up between every station for safety. read more

First time at this salon. Got a full set of clear gel nails w/ gel polish by Tina. Finally a place that uses gel like they advertise!!! I've been to many of these types of salons where you ask for gel and they use acrylic and lie to you saying its gel. I know the difference because I used to do nails and I like gel because it's playable, so less likely to break and there is NO smell when getting them done. People were friendly, salon was clean and they had a large variety of polishes. I'll be back to see Tina for a gel fill and a pedicure next time. read more

Once the Nail salon opened again due to Covid 19. I came in for an appointment but I saw many of workers not distancing themselves like they should, and accepted customers who did not wear a face mask. They should take matters very seriously due to the pandemic. Not only that but they took no ones temperature making it a higher risk to the employees and most importantly putting the customer at risk too. read more

I will NEVER go back to this salon again. They all talked in their native tongue and it was obvious they were talking about their customers. The nail tech I had said about ten words to me, if that. The rest of the time she was speaking to her co-workers, laughing and in general being totally unprofessional. I've been to many nail salons and LVY is now my favorite! One thing they offer than many others do not is a nice calming atmosphere. If I have the opportunity to get away from the house to do something for ME, I want an environment that is calming and soothing for which to enjoy my hard-earned time away from home (and money). Their massage chairs are also newer, with better technology. They were well-staffed for my last drop in over a busy saturday afternoon and I had zero wait time. There is ample parking in the front of the building and the location is convenient to the highway. There are multiple ladies that work here so the wait time is very short. There is a good variety of polish colors to choose from. The décor here is tranquil with just the right amount of light for you to see the working being done yet dim enough for you to truly relax. It's the little things that make the experience great here. You can choose from 5 different fragrance scrubs including eucalyptus, orange and melon. The spa tubs are cleaned immediately after each pedicure. On this visit Lany completed my Mani-Pedi with a deluxe pedicure upgrade and shellac manicure. It's 3/23/2012 and the polish has not chipped. I informed them that I had to leave in an hour and they had me out right on time. While your nails are drying they will massage your neck, shoulders and back! read more

At first I wasnt sure how I felt about this place. I went in asking for hard gels, which their website says they have and the lady kept telling my acrylics with a tip. Eventually after five minutes of trying to explain what I wanted I just gave up and let her do her thing. She was rough when trying to get my hands in the right position (I'm a stiff person so it's mildly understandable as every time I get my nails done the technician has trouble maneuvering my fingers) but this was a little on the aggressive side. There was a neck rub after she finished my nails which was nice. At the end of it all, the service wasn't 100 but my nails look AMAZING! I've gotten so many compliments and they look like my real nails. Which blew my mind as the reason I avoid acrylics is because they always look so obviously fake. But these bad boys are phenomenal! The person who did my nails did not talk to me at all except to insult me once. I was one of the only customers in the salon but she had no problem talking with her coworkers the entire time. The one and only time she talked to me was to ask if I wanted my eyebrows done too, when I said no she said "You NEED them done" and laughed. I then proceed to explain I get them threaded. I'm giving it one star because they do a very poor job with dipping powder. Do not remove old powder, just pile the new one on...resulting in extremely thick nails. The dipping powder colors do not come out the way the samples show. So know ahead of time, you're not gonna get the color you pick. I picked light pink and got darker purple. I mentioned a few times during the process my concerns but was made to feel wrong for asking and was constantly ignored by talking amongst themselves. I was so embarrassed to show my nails and I'm not a high maintenance person. The nails broke three days later which is the reason why I get dipping powder in the first place, they're supposed to at least last three weeks. I will not be coming back. read more

Just had a terrible manicure at LVY nails. My cuticles were hardly touched so it didn't even look like I had a manicure and I didn't even get a 60 second hand massage with lotion or a quick back massage which they do for their clients. Everyone around me was getting them but me... I've been there a few times and know their routine so this was definitely the manicurist. I used to go to this salon all the time. Ana was my nail technician, but she moved away. After that I really didn't care who did my nails there as they were all good. One time I had Jenny. What a bitch. She talked on her phone during my whole pedicure. When she wasn't on the phone she was talking in Vietnamese to her fellow co-workers and laughing, giggling and not doing what she was supposed to: MY NAILS. RUDE!! I went to get my nails done and received terrible service! When I sat down, the girl who was doing my nails was aggressive and rough towards me, my friend noticed too. She would be aggressive in her mannerism to put my feet up and down. While she was shaving off my nail polishes, she nicked part of my skin. She clipped my nails horrible!! My nails were all jagged, she painted my nails the wrong color, I informed her the color I wanted three times! Once I finally had enough of her rudeness, I straight up told her. I would not recommend this place to ANYONE!!! Had my first appt there one week ago and everything seemed to be just fine. Had a gel manicure and a gel pedicure plus giving the attendant a very healthy 20% tip. My gel manicure that I paid over $30 for did not even last a week. The Polish is chipping off and my nails are weak and breaking off. I went back to the salon and they told me my nails looked fine and they would redo them as a favor for me. The attendant kept insisting my nails looked fine and because they are my own nails that breakage was expected. She was not nice explaining this to me and I said repeatedly, I understand, but really after one week???? I have had gel nails done by another salon, many times, but much further away and they last almost 3 weeks with NO problems with polish chipping or breakage. Wished I had driven the extra mileage to go to the other place I previously visited. I was babysitting my grandchild and was going for the convenience, instead I got ripped off!!!! The attendant came right out and told me that if I was not happy to go elsewhere. I was so upset with her comments and persistance that they would redo as a favor but there was nothing wrong with my nails, and her comment about going elsewhere that I just got up and left!!!!!!! I have never been treated so rudely by a service industry before and will NEVER go back to this place again. I recommend the same for anyone reading this.
