The first time we had LVs we knew this would be a Sunday dinner atleast every other month but when we tried to order the last three times they never have a full menu or something is missing. Let me preface this by saying I been living close to this place for years and tonight is the first time I've eaten here. Super easy to place an order for pick-up. Got the fried whiting with potato salad and coleslaw fried hard to perfection. Ordered a strawberry banana pudding that was as delicious as it sounded. It doesn't look like much when you walk in. You see a bar and some booths to sit at if you want to eat. Nothing bad, it was actually cool because we sat and watched the game as we ate. Service was great. We ordered at the bar, and it took about 20 minutes for our food. Not a long wait. We got the food to go and went back to the house to eat it and it was still hot! And the food was delicious! Ohh man the yam and mac combo!! Of course I had to get an extra order of mac and cheese on the side. The chicken was fire! Nice and crispy. Nice size pieces of chicken. Sooooo good! I recently moved to this area and really wanted some good soul food but particularly good whole wings... after trying a few places I finally found the perfect spot! It's a cute mom & pop restaurant, (definitely screams "good soul food" if that makes sense) with great customer service! The wings were delicious and seasoned perfectly & I am particular about soul food and want it to taste as close to home as possible and I can say that this plate was just that. I got the 4 whole wings, Mac and cheese, collards and cornbread. Everything was good too. I will definitely be returning the only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because the kind lady told me it was a 30 min wait however it was over an hour wait. I've been driving pass LV's for years but never had the guts to stop in. After seeing a few reviews on here I decided to try them out! I am so glad I did. My dad and I visited for Sunday dinner. I was REALLY craving some good soul food and Southern Comfort was closed. LV's opened at 4 so I did have to wait until then. When we walked into the restaurant I was expecting it to be sit-in like most restaurants are now. But they are only doing to-go orders. My dad ordered the 6 Whole chicken wings and I ordered the smothered pork chops. Unfortunately there was an hour wait for Mac n cheese, I wasn't willing to wait so I didn't try it out. But I will next time. The pork chop was delicious, I looovez the gravy! The chicken wings were also delicious. Next time I think I'll order the wings and Mac n cheese. Visiting from up north and this restaurant became one of my favorites while in VA. Will definetly Stop here on my next visit. Turkey wings were some of the best I have had. Lv's Restaurant is excellent!! I love finding neighborhood gems like Lv's. They have it all, amazingly well seasoned and well prepared food, warm customer service, and covid safe precautions in place. We seriously couldn't get over how delicious our meal was and ordered take out the next day too! The chef is extremely adept at cooking classic southern dishes and the front of house staff couldn't have been lovelier. This will definitely be my first stop next time I'm in town!! read more

This little community dive is just the spot to go to for some real soul food. There is NOTHING fancy about this place. Not inside or out. But don't prejudge. The food is worth the trip. The fish was fried perfectly. The sweet potatoes...OMG! The collards expertly seasoned. They're open from 3pm - 11pm and they make some mighty fine drinks. The atmosphere casual the people friendly. I had the breakfast burger with fries and absolutely loved it. The fries were seasoned to perfection and the burger was juicy and tasteful. They have plenty of TVs as well so I was able to watch some football while I enjoyed my meal. Great food, nice people, and free wifi. Can't beat that. read more

This place is delicious! I had a Philly Cheese steak which was AMAZING and my husband had the all you can eat fish. He thought the fish was excellent and got so full from the first plate of fish, fries, and hush puppies that he turned down the offer for refills. The service was excellent. Our server even offered to let him take a plate to go since he filled up on the 1st round. The kiddos each had items from the breakfast menu (hot cakes & french toast) and ate every bite. The menu is small. However it seems no matter what you order you can't go wrong. They gave us a dinner menu and a breakfast menu on a Friday night to order from. Excellent food, excellent service!
