The owner completely refused to take responsibility, claiming the gouge was old, even though the freshly torn aluminum is bright, raw silver and completely unoxidized. Had an experience where a different local tire shop left a small dent on my wheel in Long Beach. I had no choice but to try Alex Tires. It was meant to be. I found a tire shop that can change my air valve stems and rotate my tires without having to worry if they'll dent or damage my wheels. I ended up getting the rest of my air valves replaced two days after from my first visit. I got all four tires rotated as well. They ended up finding a nail in one tire. I asked to get it patched which was $15. Speedy and quality service. Service cost was reasonable and affordable, especially when compared to the car dealers. Daniela was kind and helpful. Another reason why I'll be a returning customer. I'd recommend this shop to anyone that cares for their rims and that wants to save money. So for 3 air valve stem replacements, all 4 tire rotations, and a tire patch, was charged for $75.00 flat (cash). Though I live in Long Beach, I'll be making my trip here for all of my tire services. They gave me a idea over the project request for a quote, but once they looked at the car, it turned out my ABS hydraulic pump needed to be replaced, so it was more than the original estimate. I wasn't upset about it because they had already told me there could be more going on. I'd rather someone be straight with me than promise a low price just to get me in the shop. They never promised it being cheap, and always said it could be something different. They needed to keep my car a bit longer but always kept me in the loop.
