I left a review a year ago and wanted to update everyone again since I had the radiant roof barrier installed. This improvement was so simple, so cost effective and truly keeps my house cooler. Even when it is 86 degrees outside, my house never heats up more than 75. That says alot as the back of my house faces west where I have 7 large windows that soak in the sun all day long. This was the best investment I ever made on my house. The wear and tear that I am saving on my air conditioning units is awesome. Not only was he transparent with his pricing and estimate, he was forthcoming with information that I wouldn't have thought to solicit. Things like proof that he was a licensed contractor as opposed to the other guys that worded their contract in a way that made ME the contractor and them a subcontractor. The price was fair, but I also felt confident they'd take care of the job properly. LV Attic Pros is fantastic. I hired Ernie and his crew to remove the old batted insulation in my 50 year old home. They installed a radiant barrier and blown in 13+ inches of insulation. They were very accommodating in scheduling even when I needed to do some work in the attic before the blow in insulation took place. They even fixed issues with my AC ducts they had identified while removing the old insulation. Also had an issue with my door bell wiring which was accidently disconnected in the attic while they were working but Ernie fixed it with no issue. Most importantly they are licensed and bonded. We had an animal in our attic and also noticed our insulation was not installed properly. We received several quotes and Ernie with LV Attic Pros worked with us to provide the service we needed. They removed the existing attic insulation, vacuumed the attic, installed multiple rodent prevention screens for several attic gaps/openings, installed a radiant barrier and a attic fan to blow out the heat in the summer. They used foam and metal screens to prevent rodents from entering the attic. The team was professional and provided numerous photos as they were performing the work, they used plastic to protect the house and keep the area clean while working. I would like to provide a formal recommendation for the hard working professionals at LV Attic Pros. My wife and I had quite a disaster we discovered in our attic - it seemed like a tornado of bird turds had whirled through the rafters. The professionals at LV Attic Pros were up for the task of cleaning up the attic; now it literally looks like an attic in a newly built house! Also, when I asked Ernie if they would be up for installing my Alpha Delta DX-EE fan dipole antenna in the attic for me while they were up there, he said "No problem man!" Thank you so much to Ernie and his crew. We were noticing for a while that we were getting alot of grety sand dust inside the house. Even though our windows have been closed due to the summer months and using the A/C. It didn't seem like this was good. I started looking around and reading reviews. LV Attic Pros kept coming up with amazing reviews, so I decided to call. Ernie answered and was very polite. We set up an appointment for that evening. He came and educated us on everything to do with the attic. We were impressed on how knowledgeable he is with his products. He wasn't pushy or anything. He then went up into our attic to inspect. He took lots of pictures, so we could see what was up there.. and it wasn't good. 33 year old installation and ducts that had seen better days . Ernie gave us a very fair estimate, that worked with are budget. We then set up a day to get the job done. The day came, his crew was on time, very polite, aways looked like they were enjoying their job,kept everything as clean as they could. They even helped me climb up the latter into the attic to see what they were doing. They all cleaned up my garage and yard like nothing was even done. Ernie was on the job site, which impressed me. He was helping his crew and making sure everything that we talked about was getting done . My husband and I are very happy. We got vacuuming of the attic, sanitize/disinfect, blow in of insulation, ductwork and a attic fan ( which pushes out the hot heat in the attic when it reaches 100 degrees. Ernie and his crew came in to put a foil barrier on the inside of my roof. They did a great job and in talking with him further I realized I wanted to replace the blown in insulation with a think bat insulation that he recommended. At one point my entire driveway and part of my front yard was filled with these huge bags that they vacuumed out of my attic. they came in and in two days they did both houses on the property. during the height of Covid-19 he also added germ killing lights to the return ducts of the HVAC. A year later I am more pleased than when they first did it. I can actually say that I felt a difference in the house and my electric bill dropped as a result. A year later the bulbs burnt out, which is to be expected but I could not find replacements. He came out and climbed back up there and ran down the problem for me.
