I am 53 years old and have been coming to Luxxery for about 8 years. I have found it difficult to find medical grade skin care in this area so was pleased to find someone so close to home, as a good facial, laser or Botox treatment previously meant a day trip to Baltimore, Dc or VA. Some of things that I love about this place are that the services provided are listed on their website in detail WITH pricing disclosed next to each service. I hate having to call a place to find out how much and wait for someone to get back to me. Having it like this allowed me to read what they offer at my convivence and call and book the service easily. The lasers they offer are good, but I do still travel to VA for Halo or Morpheous treatments, and hydro facials I would like to see more lasers and facial services offered here but overall what they do offer is good. I see Kelly for these treatments and I have for years. It feels good to develop a long term relationship with someone that is growing with me and understands my skin because she knows it. Kelly has helped me come up with long term treatment plans and is always available on time for her appointments, I have never waited longer than 5 minutes to be seen. I would highly recommend Kelly. I get my Dysport and fillers here, Yhamira does my injections and we have only seen eavh other a few times so far I have found her to be skilled with her techniques and I always look great when she's done. Very friendly and I appreciate the attention she gives to her follow ups, I do not get that at any other places I go Kita, at the front desk is always so happy and friendly and usually knows who I am before I say my name. She gets me scheduled quickly and has always been able to find a way to get me in on the the drop of a dime when I may need an appointment quickly. She also makes sure that I get my appointment reminders which is great service. I just started doing IV therapy here, so far one session. I LOVE IT!!! Will be going back for regular treatments. My skin looked great and I felt so much energy over the next several days. Overall this place is 5 stars all the way. With that, I'm reviewing again here. This is too important to shrug it off. This is a medical practice that does not understand all of the ways in which a medical condition can present itself. So what do they do when a customer comes in with a medical condition they don't understand, they whisper about their customer and position themselves in the office so they can gawk at the customer their coworkers are ridiculing. It's unprofessional, immature and disgusting behavior. And it's equally shameful that it's a black female employee who is the genesis of this childish behavior against a black female customer. In two visits, I spent more than $700. They won't get anymore of my money. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere because they don't value it here. read more

When I first met and talked with Dr. Hakki I knew right then that I wanted him to perform my tummy tuck. Dr. Hakki and his team made me feel very comfortable and at ease with his knowledge as a board certified plastic surgeon. Let's start with my free consultation... it consisted of a private review of my needs and body. I was overly concerned with my stomach area and buttocks. Dr. Hakki insisted I didn't need a butt lift because the extra fat and skin around my waist hid it. He drew me a professional picture that illustrated my before and after with the Tummy Tuck and fine areas of Lipo. I loved it because in March I met with another plastic surgeon in Atlanta who was less attentive and less personable. Let's get to the Tummy Tuck. I scheduled my surgery for 11/6/18. This was an early birthday present for my 36th bday on 11/10/18. My feelings the day of surgery were all over the place. I was super emotional, scared, uneasy and nervous. I couldn't stop crying. I couldn't help myself. But his entire staff made it all worthwhile and I adore Crystal. She made me feel better and she truly brightened my time. Now I'm 10 days post op. Feeling great and standing straight. I stopped taking the meds because it made me sleepy. Besides the stitches, I'm in no pain and very happy I went forward with everything. I truly believe this tummy tuck will bring me more confidence and enjoyment. I can't wait for the summer baby! I recommended Luxxery to all my friends and family. In April 2019, I went in for some minor botox on my forehead, frown lines, and filler on my nose crease. I spent $2,300.00 plus airline ticket and rental car. All of these procedures had been performed before by Dr. Hakki with no problems, and I highly recommend him. Dr. Hakki and the office staff are a great bunch of folks, especially Tricia, the office manager. However, when I arrived, I found out he would not be performing my procedures. Having flown and rented a car to come see him, I was left with no choice but to roll with a new person who handles injections, but is not a doctor. I have had these types of services at 5 different salons and my experience with Christine Laubach was by far the worst ever. It has been 3 months since the procedure, and my face and eyes have yet to return to normal. I had to attend a funeral and a wedding with my face looking like Hell, and my eyes half shut. None of the lines were gone, the filler pushed my eyes closed. She talked me into some type of filler in my cheeks because she said my face was bottom heavy. Well now I have a big white stripe down one side of my face that is still visible even after 3 months, and two large roll like bumps under each eye. Perhaps if she had stuck with what I wanted instead of what she wanted I might have fared better? I returned a month and a half later, again at great expense, to have my face fixed. I talked with Dr. Haiki, but nothing could be done to correct Christine's very expensive mistakes until my face returns to normal. Needless to say, I believe I could have been told that over the phone. No sign of Christine at my second appointment. I thought she might step in and apologize, but no. I am extremely unhappy with her lack of concern for what she did. No apology - nothing. I find out now that she has no male clients. Well I won't be back to see her, and I suggest that you not see her as well. If there had been the ability to rate her with zero stars I would have done so. Now, I have to locate someone in my new city to correct the mess she left me with because I can't afford to fly back a third time. Needless to say, I was definitely ripped off by her. The only thing good thing that happened that day is I bought some fade cream there and it is fabulous. She suggested the cream. I suspect she knew that I would need it for my eye bruises. Today, I had a microdermabrasion facial with Sherrell. She was amazing! First, Luxxery is a beautiful office! I felt like I was in a spa in a luxury hotel. It's very new, clean, and stylish. The staff are super friendly....and beautiful! Okay, so microdermabrasion.... it was so relaxing. Sherrell was very informative before and during the appointment. I love the products she used. She gave recommendations for skin care and products when I left. I am very, very happy with my treatment. I'm 42 and I feel like microdermabrasion takes at least 5 years off your age. Two days out from liquid face lift. Before: 64 years old, edges of lips sagging, eyes have lost their sparkle, brows hanging over eyelids, lines coming down from nose, pronounced, cheeks sunken in, and perpetual, general look of sadness on face. After: still 64 years old, tender, but my oh my, No bruising even though the doctor (not a physicians assistant) used fine needles and much larger needles with an odd sliced shape at the end too(cutterage????) I have had work done before and this was more painful but nothing I couldn't manage. Between humming Yankee Doodle in my head and the doctor's perpetual joke telling, I was distracted enough not to mind. I am in awe of my new and improved face. I look like myself 10 or 20 years ago, but not crazy lady with stretched, silly putty face. Now the lady in the mirror doesn't look depressed. I don't have to keep a smile on my face so that people don't think I am sad or upset about something. I can relax and my face doesn't fall to the floor. If you are still looking for someone to "do" your lip injections, you're wasting your time. Hands down Christine at Luxxery is the best. My natural lips are crooked, uneven, and flat. I've never had truly beautiful lips, until now. I used to travel to Baltimore to have my lips injected, but once I met Christine that stopped. She is so professional, and a perfectionist. You will not leave her office until you both feel her work is perfect. She is a true artist. She has never pushed other products on me, or suggested that I needed more product than necessary. In fact, she has told me more than once to "wait until next time" so that I don't look overdone. My last lip appointment was 5 months ago and they still look great (but I'm going in for a touch up soon). So her work LASTS. At first I really enjoyed my visits to Dr. Hakki's Waldorf clinic; the day of my surgery the Dr. embarrassed me terribly in front of my daughter by being very indiscreet. After my surgery I began feeling just like I do when I see a military doctor; like cattle. In addition, three yrs after my surgery I still have a terrible scar, and a scar for my belly button, not the cute, little belly button I was promised. I went to Dr. Hakki's Waldorf location for an uninvasive little procedure. I really enjoyed the receptionist and Dr. Hakki's bedside manner. He was really very sweet during the entire procedure. I plan on returning when the time to return comes up. One thing I would like to mention is that I was a tiny bit disappointed when I had the procedure done and found out that I couldn't use Carecredit because the amount for my service did not meet their minimum. I did relay that it would have been nice to know that before I applied for CareCredit as the receptionist had recommended it. I have been going to Luxxery for about 6 months now. I had horrible ingrown hairs on my chin that were less than awesome so after some research, I decided to go here for Laser Hair Removal. Kelly is the best! The hours are very convenient to my work schedule and they always call you to remind you of your appointment, which I appreciate because I am very bad about remembering. After 6 months my skin is looking SO MUCH better and my ingrowns are gone. I am still in treatment for some stray hairs but I am so glad I decided to come here! I was here for a facial recently and it was really good. Sherrell was really great and thorough with the facial. She took the time to do the job well and gave recommendations based on the needs of my skin. My skin was clean, as it should be after a facial. It was finalized with a shoulder massage, a bottle of water and mints. I got the microdermabrasion and facial cost $180 which I think is on the more expensive side. I've had facials done with microdermabrasion for about $100 at other medical facilities. The place is tucked in behind mc Donald's on busy 301 so it's a little hard to find. I'm nice inside it's like a maze especially since no one is at the front desk. I took me a few mins to find someone and get checked in. The front desk employees are ok, not rude or friendly. I asked if they have a brochure with the services they provide and they did not have one. There's a private salon in the office which they are not related to but I was told they kind of partner with each other. I really want to come back here, but the price is a little steep for a service I'd like to get frequently. read more

RUDE! I am a Veteran of the military, and the VA approved me for plastic surgery due to an injury sustained while active duty. I live far away from the VA, so I am approved through the Veterans Choice Program. I called and came in contact with "Tricia Shawn" who claimed she was the office manager. She immediately cut me off and said the VA does not cover plastic surgeries. WRONG. What does she think happens after the wounds heal? We get plastic surgery. I explained this to her and she still argued saying the VA "don't do that." She then insults my integrity and says that she wont lie on paperwork. I have all of the documents from my provider stating the plastic surgery I am approved for. I was and still am completely offended! What kind of rude and unprofessional people are working in this facility? I wouldn't trust them with my life if before I even get to meet them someone is being rude to a potential customer. I am just in awe at the lack of professionalism. If the employee's are this rude, it speaks volumes about the office and how customers are treated. read more

Dr. Hakki and Staff at Luxxery made my breast Augmentation a pleasant experience. My first visit to them I was very nervous and as with every Doctors office I expected to wait an hour. I was in the room and with the Doctor within ten minutes. I did not feel like I was being shuffled around like cattle and I felt like I was being cared for like a human being. As for my surgery I am very impressed with the surgery results. I couldn't be any happier with the recommendations offered and the results recieved. The best decision I could have made. I still remember the day after surgery coming in and not being able to wash my hair or take a shower and the office staff washed my hair for me to make me feel a little cleaner and happier. Such a wonderful gesture. When I come into the office now I am all smiles. I am exactly one year out of surgery and when I come into the office I still am greeted by name and hugs from the staff as if they are my long lost family.
