I had a very upsetting and uncomfortable experience during my recent appointment. Everything started out fine, but after the second coat of polish was applied, I realized I did not like the color and politely asked if it could be changed. This is something I have done in the past without any issues. As soon as I made this simple request, the nail technician (Ivy) became visibly upset. She began throwing her hands in the air and speaking loudly and angrily in another language across the salon to other staff members. Several people responded back to her. I never raised my voice or spoke rudely, but the situation immediately escalated and made me feel very uncomfortable and embarrassed. Another staff member then came over and told me that she liked the color and that they were very busy. I explained to her that the issue was not the color anymore, but the behavior of the technician. I told her that Ivy's body language, tone, and the fact that she was talking angrily across the salon were rude and were making me feel uncomfortable and anxious. Instead of addressing this, I was told to "calm down," even though I was not being rude or raising my voice at all. I explained that I was calm, but that Ivy was the one who needed to calm down because her behavior was what was making me uncomfortable. At that point, I asked for a different technician or said that if they were too busy, I was willing to wait for someone else to become available. This request was dismissed, and I was told that Ivy would continue the service. I felt pressured to continue even though I was already very uncomfortable. I was also informed that I would be charged an additional $25 fee to change the nail color. I questioned this because I have changed colors in the past and was never charged or made to feel like it was a problem. I do not understand why changing a nail color became such a big issue, especially as a paying customer. I will not pay for a service or color that I do not like. The remainder of the appointment was extremely uncomfortable. Ivy handled my hands roughly and continued speaking angrily across the salon, which made me feel anxious and uneasy the entire time. What should have been a relaxing experience turned into a very stressful one. I understand salons get busy, but there is no excuse for speaking about a client publicly, raising voices, or communicating in another language in a way that clearly makes a client feel targeted and uncomfortable. Employees shouldn't be allowed to cross talk in front of clients in a different language it's RUDEE!! If I want to change my nail color I should feel attacked for doing so!! Unfortunately, because of how this situation was handled from beginning to end, I will not be returning. read more

I was running errands this morning, and realized I had about a 2 hour gap until my next appointment and decided to get a pedicure. I haven't gone to Luxury in quite some time, and I do not regret going! Hana is the best and will now be my go to!! She was very careful, took her time, and would always ask me if I was doing okay. I've been going to Luxury Spa & Nail for years and hands down Hannah does the best job! I will never go with anyone else for a pedicure!

I'm sorry but this place has lost its touch. Definitley will not be coming back. They do not sterilize their tools after each use. I saw the lady doing my pedicure get all her tools that were loose from the basket in her trolley and start using them on me. Nail file, Clippers, cuticle pusher even the toe seperators. Do salons no longer sterilize them after each client?! Needless to say that alone ruined it for me. I tried to look past the current bad yelp reviews because I was in desperate need of a pedicure, but never again. Please go somewhere where tools are sanitized so you don't risk getting any infection. As I'm looking around, all the techs at the pedi stations are doing the same thing, nothing is being sterilized nor coming out of little clear bags and opened in front of us like other salons do. Is it not standard requirement to sanitize tools after each client use anymore?? Please save your money and go elsewhere. read more

Came back since I've liked my nails previously done by Tracy and Tony. I went in recently with Mia, first off it was a simple look. 3 nails are different length from the rest, then when I asked I wanted French tip like I've gotten before the best by Tracy. Mia rushed through painted my nails white then created a French tip shape, not the best may I state that. Will stick to my usual nail tech or to Tracy. To top it off Mia was quick to be somewhere else that she applied the cuticle oil on my hand rather than my cuticles. Only person I'm mad at is myself. read more

Terrible service!! Half fast job! I came for an acrylic pedicure, the lady made my powder extremely thick and round. I asked her multiple times to make it thinner and she didn't so I asked for her file and started filling it for her. After that she started filling my other toes very hard and gave me so much attitude, obviously upset. (I'm not going to pretend I like a job when I don't.) Eventually she started rushing me out to get to another customer so she put the top coat on before the first coat was dry.
