This is now my new go to nail salon in the Main Line. This place is convenient to Ardmore's…read moredowntown. It is in a strip with a ton of other businesses. I walked in and they had an immediate opening. I got Nu (I think this is how you spell her name) to do my nails. She did a pedicure. I really liked how thorough she was. They even do a bit of a hot stone after. I got a really light colored Essie Pink (see attached image). I tried to put it on my foot but it didn't take as well as I would have hoped. Luckily, I was able to tell Nu and she quickly removed my nail polish and found a suitable alternate with no complaints. I ended up getting a manicure. The Essie light pink looked better on the hand vs foot. She did a great job. My polish lasted for more than a week which is a real rarity. The only downside is the driers are pretty far from where they were doing my nails. They do accept Venmo with tip which added to the convenience.

After the pandemic I was very cautious of going to nail salon. Many nail places don't properly disinfect the pedicure tub and the jets , reuse of manicure instruments / nail files and products are put in reused plastic soap containers. Yuk! Most important, I want to relax, not wait in line and not be in a room with 50 people - super loud- people lined up next to you - no privacy. . I drive by my old nail place and can't imagine going back to a place like that no matter how cheap the cost. La Belle is busy with customers but I'm usually have 2 seats between me and the other customer. Relaxing instrumental soft music , no TV and no loud shouting across the room (lol). Vikki , is super friendly and always makes sure I'm comfortable. She is a professional and does a fabulous job for my manicure and pedicure and eye brows waxing. She already spoke to me; 2. Already did my service; 3. Had confirmed all my information; and 4. Was being professional. If I had already done my service, why would I be there and waste over 30 minutes waiting for a response? It speaks volumes on Maya's professionalism that she deemed a client unworthy of the simple courtesy of corresponding with them and then lie to her employer. Emergencies happen and had I been informed I would completely understand but the fact that lying and making a client be left in the dark is incredibly disgusting behavior that is not appropriate. The upseting part is the fact that if someone can lie like that to their clients and employer, who can speak on the quality of the services offered? Perhaps I dodged a nail infection and I won't thankfully ever know. Mrs. Ken is very kind and nice. I felt bad interrupting her weekend due to this. I came here out of convenience. I was in a pinch and figured I'd come in during my lunch break. There was no wait but it also seems that only one tech is working. I sat here with my toes pruning for 20 minutes before the man who greeted me started to begin the pedicure process. No shaping, no trimming, a lousy cuticle job, no lotion...he then says "I'll be back." It's been 15 more minutes and he's been chatting with other customers and standing around. I've been here for 50 minutes and still have zero polish on my toes and my feet are so pruned, I refuse to put them back in the water. I'm on my third round of chair massage, which is beyond uncomfortable, may I add. ...a different nail tech has finally cut and filed my nails, the works....over an hour later. After 1hr25min, my toes are finally polished for what has been the worst pedicure I've ever had, and now I have to dry them for another 10-15. This place is terrible. Do not come here.
