This is now my new go to nail salon in the Main Line. This place is convenient to Ardmore's…read moredowntown. It is in a strip with a ton of other businesses. I walked in and they had an immediate opening. I got Nu (I think this is how you spell her name) to do my nails. She did a pedicure. I really liked how thorough she was. They even do a bit of a hot stone after. I got a really light colored Essie Pink (see attached image). I tried to put it on my foot but it didn't take as well as I would have hoped. Luckily, I was able to tell Nu and she quickly removed my nail polish and found a suitable alternate with no complaints. I ended up getting a manicure. The Essie light pink looked better on the hand vs foot. She did a great job. My polish lasted for more than a week which is a real rarity. The only downside is the driers are pretty far from where they were doing my nails. They do accept Venmo with tip which added to the convenience.

Making an appointment this way was quick and easy and the communication through the messaging was good! I had high expectations and walking into the salon because this place is rated 4.5 stars but my excitement fell flat when I walked in the door and was approached (not greeted) by a woman asking me if I had an appointment, I said yes. I can't recall if she asked my name but she walked me to a manicure station and started the process to remove the dipping powder. Once my nails were wrapped, she instructed me to sit at another station. Minutes later, another woman completed the process and then cut and shaped my nails. She talked about what she was doing while shaping my nails and was more affable than the first woman I encountered. The atmosphere of the salon is dry and cold and did not feel "spa-like" at all... There was a tv on with closed captioning and the only sound that I remember hearing was chatter, which was a mixture of the technicians speaking amongst themselves and the conversation of some patrons (who I believe were teenaged girls). If I could, I would have rated this place 3.5 stars: 3 stars because I received the service that I wanted and they were able to accommodate me with short notice. The .5 is for the hospitable nature of the second woman who I encountered... I don't see myself returning.

After the pandemic I was very cautious of going to nail salon. Many nail places don't properly disinfect the pedicure tub and the jets , reuse of manicure instruments / nail files and products are put in reused plastic soap containers. Yuk! Most important, I want to relax, not wait in line and not be in a room with 50 people - super loud- people lined up next to you - no privacy. . I drive by my old nail place and can't imagine going back to a place like that no matter how cheap the cost. La Belle is busy with customers but I'm usually have 2 seats between me and the other customer. Relaxing instrumental soft music , no TV and no loud shouting across the room (lol). Vikki , is super friendly and always makes sure I'm comfortable. She is a professional and does a fabulous job for my manicure and pedicure and eye brows waxing. They use top of the line polish and hand and foot products. Easy booking on your phones Payment is pre-paid on line so I just leave when I'm done. Highly recommended and worth the cost. For enjoyment and cleanliness.

Mrs. Ken is lovely but Maya's behavior and unprofessionalism is deplorable. I had an appointment…read morescheduled for Sunday and the place was all locked up. I called multiple times to see what was up with the phone ringing and then completely going to voicemail indicating she closed her phone. Maya did not inform Mrs. Ken of any possible circumstances that may have arisen to postpone my appointment. Moreover, I had to call Mrs. Ken to find out what was happening since Maya refused to call me back or send me a message. It was through Mrs. Ken that I found out that Maya: 1. She already spoke to me; 2. Already did my service; 3. Had confirmed all my information; and 4. Was being professional. If I had already done my service, why would I be there and waste over 30 minutes waiting for a response? It speaks volumes on Maya's professionalism that she deemed a client unworthy of the simple courtesy of corresponding with them and then lie to her employer. Emergencies happen and had I been informed I would completely understand but the fact that lying and making a client be left in the dark is incredibly disgusting behavior that is not appropriate. The upseting part is the fact that if someone can lie like that to their clients and employer, who can speak on the quality of the services offered? Perhaps I dodged a nail infection and I won't thankfully ever know. Mrs. Ken is very kind and nice. I felt bad interrupting her weekend due to this. To conduct business in the manner Maya has is unacceptable to both her and myself. It is truly unfortunate.

I came here out of convenience. I was in a pinch and figured I'd come in during my lunch break. There was no wait but it also seems that only one tech is working. I sat here with my toes pruning for 20 minutes before the man who greeted me started to begin the pedicure process. No shaping, no trimming, a lousy cuticle job, no lotion...he then says "I'll be back." It's been 15 more minutes and he's been chatting with other customers and standing around. I've been here for 50 minutes and still have zero polish on my toes and my feet are so pruned, I refuse to put them back in the water. I'm on my third round of chair massage, which is beyond uncomfortable, may I add. ...a different nail tech has finally cut and filed my nails, the works....over an hour later. After 1hr25min, my toes are finally polished for what has been the worst pedicure I've ever had, and now I have to dry them for another 10-15. This place is terrible. Do not come here.

All was fine until I sat down at the drying station and the man (who I assume is the owner) came over to give me the included shoulder massage. How could this be bad, you may think. Well, he then proceeded to talk to me about tea, diet, how he used to be 200lbs, different ways to diet (came off strongly as suggestions that I should try), and asked if I had a good doctor (emphasizing how my "health" was important). I sat there in silence and he seemed to eventually get the hint and walk away. Not only should these things never be said to other humans, but CERTAINLY NOT PAYING CUSTOMERS. To top it off, my nails were completely chipped within 24 hours (even with regular polish a mani should last at least a few days). Ardmore has many, many other nail salons who would happily accept my business, and I encourage others to not give a single dollar more to this place.
