This owner is clearly unwell, who would do something like that. Tech did not spend 20-25 minutes. It was a 10 minute service. Even she said as I was checking out that I should just be billed for a polish change. The tech filed 2 nails for 30 seconds. I scheduled and came in for a polish change which they told me would take 10 minutes and it did. owner insisted afterwards that i pay for a mini manicure which i did not receive per the tech who confirmed verbally with the check out clerk. no massage. no filing and buffing. no lotion, no cutting of cuticles. $33 for a polish change seems excessive and greedy. make sure you get pricing up front from them. aesthetics and interior design very low end, looks cheap and sloppily put together. I tipped the tech $10 on venmo because I do not trust the owner to give the tip to the tech. When I asked them to call the owner back to confirm I was being charged for a service I didn't receive, the owner didn't pick up nor text her worker back. After waiting for 10 minutes I just paid so I could leave. Not a good way to run a business.

I've come here several times now, and unfortunately, the manicures have been of poor quality; the…read moreshaping of the nails is not what I asked for. I came in with almond shape and just asked to have them shorter, but the same shape. Every time they did it, the shape was not almond, the nails were not even in length, and all around, they could not get them right. The gel application was also poor quality, once it was so thick it looked like plastic and I had to push them to redo it for free, another time it started to peal after 3 days. When you pay a lot of money for a gel manicure, I expect a great outcome. I'm sure they have technicians who know what they are doing, but I want to come in, relax, and get a great manicure.

All the mail techs were welcoming to walk ins and those with appointments, which isn't always the case at some salons. Bulan was really careful with the drill and made sure to be gentle since my natural nails are weak right now. All the nail techs were joking with each other and seemed to get along and spoke to each other in English (since I know sometimes people think they're talking about the customers when they're not speaking English). Overall, the atmosphere was really positive and the salon was super clean. Bulan also made sure I liked the length, shape and color of my nails before proceeding to the next step. I felt like she actually understood what I wanted and didn't rush me. The price was $55 for a dip mani + $10 for dip removal.

However, I have multiple knicks/cuts on a 3-4 fingers. They really hurt. It was also the first time my gel manicure ever peeled. While they did fix it for free, the quality has changed. I am disappointed as this is not my usual experience at the nail spa. I've also noticed that the prices increase recently. I have had to find another salon for my needs. I will forever miss Sammy!

I love this new space, especially the enormous skylights. It's always bright in here, all the chairs and stations are obviously new, they have lots of flowers and good energy -- and they serve drinks like wine and mimosas. Can't beat the quality though -- and that's really why I've been coming back. Their shaping and designs are impeccable -- whether you have your own nails, do tips with dip, or prefer GelX. I highly recommend the GelX if it's not what you do -- as it's the best/latest technology in pre-shaped, semi-flexible, clear/thin gel extensions. I honestly can't find fault with anything they do here. And not just Linh and Tan, but they've also brought on a team of other fantastic local techs/artists. I know Lana and Danny are also fantastic, for example.

The overall vibe of the salon is so nice and chill, I love the scale and the quiet calm music, and so appreciate that they always offer something to sip on. I also really appreciate how they handle scheduling and time - they're clear about what times can or cannot work for a specific service, because they care about having enough time to dedicate to their work without rushing at all. Each time I've gone in, my services have been so calm and never rushed. As for Melody, again, I have been with her three times now for gel manicures, and I am so grateful for her gentleness and attentiveness. She's so careful with my nails and cuticles, and if I ever don't know what to do or can't make a decision, I know I can trust her to know what shape/polish/product will suit my nails best.
