I decided to use The Frankfort Handyman for repairs and some upgrading in my house. He put shelves…read morein 2 pantry's and fixed some hinges on my kitchen cabinets. However when he installed the doors for the pantry he drilled in the wrong spot for the knobs and the doors would not open. Admitted he screwed that up. I decided to have him install a new toilet and vanity in my powder room. He said no problem and gave me a price. I am attaching pictures of what he has done. It is so bad I had to call another company to fix the mess. Paid him in full BIG MISTAKE. He is awful to return calls, texts and I had to chase him down. He said he could repair it in 1/2 hour. However, it should not be repaired or fixed. It should of been done right the first time. At this point I did not trust his ability in home repairs so I didn't want him back for fear that he would make it worse. When he finally did answer I asked for a refund or at least a partial and he said the work he did was worth his price. You can be the judge. Now it is crickets. It cost me time and money that I saved to have this done. My vanity is ruined, he could not properly put the toilet in and I had to get a plumber(which I agreed to because obviously he didn't know how to repair the toilet issue. That was an additional $275, the pantry doors look ridiculous with a set of holes that were put in the wrong place that he tried to repair and now I have to get somebody who knows what they are doing. I thought I had someone but lesson learned. I wanted to post the pictures, but I can't see where to do that on yelp. John's amazing customer service and performance…read more I recently had moved into an apartment with well water that smelled like sulfur. To help myself financially I told the landlord I would try my best to upgrade his plumbing system to the best of my ability and knowledge, because I work as a plumbing apprentice I thought I had enough knowledge to install a water filtration system. I soon found out I was not as knowledgeable as I thought. I tried having my supervisor from work help me install it but he explained that I'd have to go through the company due to it being an upstairs unit and sharing the water main with other tenants and therefore charging me a bit too much than I expected and that's when I found John. I found All Done Handyman through a local friend who used John in the past. I called John to install a customer supplied 2- stage water filtration system and he not only helped me out with pricing but also taught me how to install the system myself, which was more than he was called out to do. He taught me different methods of soldering and then explained the difference between soldering and pro-pressing. Of course after paying John and then every other contractor to fix his mistakes I didn't have any money left. So for now we just put rolled up towels in the 2 areas that leak. We did report him to BBB so he now has a nice big black check against him. Menards will no longer let him post his flyers. So our contract of $8000.00 went to $12.000,00.
