Stopped in here again on our way back to Denver. I had the best turkey club I've ever had in my life. The turkey was a true roasted turkey sliced like Thanksgiving. This wasn't deli meat turkey... oh no, not even close. French fries were piping hot and so good! My hubs had chicken fried steak (his fave). He loved it here! They were getting close to closing but said "c'mon in". They were staying open just for us . The service here is awesome, the food even better. Such a cute and comfy little place to hang out. I had such high hopes for this hole in the wall, but at every opportunity we were disappointed. Ordering breakfast I had trouble deciding what to order because so many choices sounded so good. Started with coffee and that should have been our warning: It was old, lukewarm, and bitter. It was coffee only a 20-year Navy veteran could appreciate. My wife had the 2 by 2 by 2 (French Toast, Sausage, eggs). The bread in the french toast was clearly stale, and there was basically only egg flavor from the dip; no cinnamon, vanilla, or anything of the sort. The sausage patties tasted like those ones you get in the frozen food section of Wally World. The eggs were basically OK, but nothing special. I had the corned beef hash. It was touted as homemade and it probably was, but the corned beef was scarce on the plate. It was mostly just their (famous!) "Luxury Potatoes" with maybe a tablespoon of corned beef mixed in. And these "Luxury" potatoes.... Nothing special. Peppers, onions, and cubed potatoes. Would have been good with a little more 'crisp' on the spuds and a little seasoning. I ordered a side of Sausage Gravy Biscuit because they said the recipe was "over three decades old." This may be true. They must be opening the same can for 30+ years because, seriously, it tasted as flat as canned sausage gravy. I'm not a great chef. Heck, I'm barely a decent cook. But there wasn't a thing we sampled that I couldn't do better at home. Robert Irvine, if you're reading: This place really could use a shot of "Restaurant Impossible." ;-) Not recommended. read more

This diner is so cute! The original part of the building was a street car that was converted into the diner in the 1920's and the they added an addition on in the 1990's. The food was great! I had the 3 meat omelette with tomatoes, hash browns, and a pancake. My husband had the Bell Union. Both meals were huge and very good! The staff was great and so was the service. read more

This place was amazing. We got there just before closing and they fed us anyway. The owner came by and asked if everything was ok and we let him know he's listed as closed on Yelp. He said the previous owner closed it without any notice and the new owner had bought it about week ago and were in the process of letting all of the sites know they were open again. Unfortunately because of the cheer competition over the weekend, they were bombarded both days and had run out of several of menu items. That's ok, at least their first week was a success in the face of a pandemic. The club and onion rings were huge portions. The pancakes were nice and fluffy and fresh. My older one loves the triple decker grilled cheese and my younger one loves the French toast. The staff was incredibly friendly to us and gave us day old pastries to take home. And the containers are microwave and dishwasher safe so it looks like we got free Tupperware too. Anywho. If you're in the area, stop on in. Waited outside for a table with 2 other parties. There were plenty of tables empty but evidently their kitchen is small. Had the server seated us and explained it would be a moment but we could enjoy a coffee, I would've been fine. Then we tried to order and were told we couldn't order yet because she had to take another order first. Then she walked by no less than 5 times and never took our order. Then she was taking our order and announced she couldn't put it in .... We left. And on top of it she was rude. Go elsewhere is my advice. read more

One of my absolute favorites! Service is outstanding and so is the food! Large portions of scrumptious comfort food; the Giant Burrito is my go to but I also enjoy the corned beef hash! For our first time in Cheyenne we decided to go here as it was No. 1 on Trip Advisor. It's a cute little diner with a large breakfast menu and they also sell a few burgers and sandwiches for lunch. It was a bit odd to see the staff not wearing masks as every place in Colorado did otherwise. Maybe it's just a Wyoming thing? Doesn't appear to be any limited capacity or social distancing in place. I ordered a biker burger with an fried egg. I was curious to try a burger with chilli in it. The burger is drenched in chilli. That's not entirely a bad thing as it's pretty tasty chilli. The burger was not as juicy as I would like it but I suppose that balanced well with the chilli. Sadly, the egg was forgotten and not brought out. I raised the concern and staff were happy to have one quickly made up for me but by that time I had already eaten most of the burger. My partner ordered a cheese burger with onion rings. Those onion rings were big! And delicious. Similar to my meal, the burger was a bit dry. This one didn't have the balance of chilli so wasn't great. I wouldn't mind trying the breakfast or the collection of baked goods which looked very tasty. read more

Took a vacation in Cheyenne, and discovered Luxury for breakfast. It was a hole in the wall in a quaint little motor lodge (wasn't staying there, but a sucker for nostalgic things!) and had the biscuits and gravy. While we were not in any hurry, the server came over to apologize for the wait, but was waiting for a new batch of biscuits. Fresh biscuits?!? No need to apologize! They came out and they were some of the best I've had. The staff are very friendly and the food was very good. I recommend stopping by for breakfast! read more

Clean restaurant, looks like the interior received a new coat of paint. The food is good, much better that pre-covid. The eggs cooked correctly, the green chili was just enough spicy over crispy home fries. The sandwich was nicely done with toasted bread, tomato and lettuce. Excellent spot on friendly service. Had to write a new review, as it's been a decade since my last review and hands have changed at least once (maybe more) since then, however I'm happy to say, my review doesn't change much! The food is delicious, the portions are EXTREMELY generous, and Del and his staff absolutely knock it out of the park when it comes to attentiveness and hospitality. Their menu has so much to choose from, and have ALWAYS been more than happy to accommodate special requests if there's something you want or don't want with your meal. If it's peak breakfast hours 8-10 especially on the weekends you will most likely have to wait. It's no secret, the seating for the restaurant is small, and they serve and excellent breakfast, so for those complaining about a wait, that just goes with the territory when it comes to small popular breakfast places, but definitely worth the wait. Food is still great, but I don't like being asked to wait outside when there are empty tables. They're not seating people because the kitchen is backed up. We understand that. So why can't we wait at a table instead? We'll still get the food later, but be more comfortable. There's a different ambience too when the place is half empty ... not as friendly. Please seat us and let us know there will be a longer than usual wait! We'll be patient. We don't come here for fast food. read more

From the decor to the friendly staff, this spot is a must visit! It's small and cozy, reminded me of a lot of my favorite diners I'd visit around the country growing up. Not too impressed. It took two attempts to actually eat here. Yesterday they apparently closed half an hour early so when I walked in I was turned away. I came back today and tried again. The iced tea was the most bitter I'd ever tasted and I had to send it back. The luxury breakfast did not come with toast as the menu indicates. My server, Ash, said I had to specifically request the toast if I wanted it. As someone who loves trying new diners, I wouldn't recommend this spot. Great spot all around. We stopped in to get breakfast to go and decided on the breakfast burrito with chorizo. Definitely the right choice! And smothered in their green chili...SO GOOD!!! First off, this place is tiny. We came on a popular day. Frontier days Rodeo was about to start. Lots of people waiting when we showed up. They tell is 45 minutes. They seat us and come back to get our order, and tell is after waiting 30+ minutes, that the food is a minimum hour wait. A cook walked out. I cannot blame the circumstances that made it the perfect storm. But i will not be back all the same. The waitresses for not having food to deliver, were not attentive at all. Our waitress took our order, never brought us the drinks we ordered, dropped off our food after the long wait and never came back. We had to track her down for the check. It was a long ordeal for terrible food. First off they put green chili instead of sausage gravy with the steak and potatoes. So it was not what i ordered. But it was an hour wait, so i feared to send it back. I was not a fan. The steak was seasoned poorly if at all, and It was full of fat and gristle. Stay away from this place if passing through. So, I turn to my handy Yelp app and the search turns up Luxury Diner, conveniently located close to my hotel too! I came on a Friday morning, before I had to head back to Denver to catch my flight. Thankfully it wasn't crazy busy for a summer morning, but I can imagine this place has long waits on the weekends. Anyway, I'm dining solo, so I opted for the counter. The ladies were fantastic! Quick to take my order (corned beef hash) and, of course, diner coffee. The corned beef hash was phenomenal!! Probably one of the best, if not the best, I've had!!! This is a home grown diner, so they make everything from scratch, and it tastes delicious! The meal came with 2 eggs, your choice of potatoes (I had the hash browns, next time I'll have the red potatoes, per one of the regulars I was chatting with) or grits, and a choice of toast or biscuit (I opted for toast, and let's just say they were not shy about using butter). Since I'll be in the area quite a bit this year, I may just have to eat my way through their menu! read more
