I recently purchased a 2011 Audi from Brandon and the deal went smooth from start to finish with no issues.

The Good, The Bad , The Ugly…read more The good.. The advertised prices on their vehicles are better than other Jeep, Chrysler,Dodge dealerships. I checked most dealerships in a 50 mile radius. The Bad.. Keep an eye out for add-ons!! After reviewing the Bill of Sale and paperwork BEFORE signing, there was approx. 6K in UNNECESSARY and unwanted add-ons! I was originally told I had to purchase these add-ons. Obviously I refused and decided to wait and see if the advertised price would come down which it did. By waiting 3 additional days I saved approx. 2k on the purchase. Also I had to literally scratch off the add-ons and send the paperwork back and actually point out the nonsense. I also took a hit on the trade in which was about 10% percent less then KBB had my trade in listed for after I used the salesmen computer in front of him to show them they were getting over on me there. My trade was offered for sale the next day for almost 10k more then I received like I pointed out it would. Also FYI don't let the dealer use the "you're getting a tax credit" excuse when they give you the trade in value because you will get that from any dealership. The Ugly.. I came back a couple of days later after the advertised price came down on their website. I didn't negotiate any additional discounts after coming back and asked for a new Bill of Sale with the advertised price to close the deal. When given the new Bill of Sale I was handed one with some of the add-ons added back to it. Again I had to scratch them off and send it back. Upon receiving it again, (when the salesperson does the "I have to talk to my boss thing") with they add-ons removed, the Sales manager lowered my trade in to cover the cost. Keep in mind that is NOT a type o. That has to be manually and purposely done changed. When I saw that I went to talk to the "boss" personally and tell him to stop the B.S. I almost walked out right there due to a shady business practice. The correct Bill of Sale was then reprinted and I decided to go through with the purchase because they did have the best price on the vehicle I was looking for. In closing READ EVERY LINE of your paperwork and if there is anything you don't like address it BEFORE you sign. Overall I was ok with deal but just keep in mind all dealerships are running a business and like any business they are looking to make a much as they can on every deal.

Really disappointed with DuPage Jeep. When I bought my vehicle, they pushed the "Tires for Life"…read moreincentive, but conveniently never explained that you supposedly have to service the Jeep with them continuously for it to actually be honored. I even asked someone in the service department about it and was specifically told I could have the vehicle serviced anywhere I wanted. Now suddenly they're refusing to honor the incentive because I didn't service it there the whole time -- even though I've had the Jeep serviced at another certified Jeep dealer. What's even worse is that this requirement was never included in any of the other contract paperwork I signed when buying the vehicle. Honestly, it feels like this was done on purpose so they'd have an excuse not to cover the tires later. This feels like a complete bait and switch. If this requirement was so important, why wasn't it clearly explained or clearly documented from the beginning? The whole thing feels misleading and shady. I'll never buy another vehicle from DuPage Jeep again, and I definitely wouldn't recommend anyone else buy one from them either.

In this case, Charles Franz was our sales consultant, and he was outstanding. He is what made the experience wonderful and my perception of the dealership so high. Charles was welcoming, professional, knowledgeable, respected my time, and provided an overall great experience. He was transparent and honest. I could not have asked for a better person or salesman. No high pressure. Facts. Fair. Friendly. This was the experience that buying a car should be. I want to personally say "Thank You Charles! You were wonderful." I pray you continue to be great at what you do and that your manager appreciates the standard you set and the quality of service you provide. If you are in need of a car, stop in and see Charles Franz. If he can help get you in the car you want, he will. Sincerely grateful and many thanks,

Ultimately, a resolution was reached after discussions between Ford Accessories, the dealership, and communication on their policies. When I raised my concern on overall experience with dealership management, I was met with rather tense conversation which soured my perception of the dealership. I was disappointment in how I was approached by their General Manager and a member of the Webb family. I'm sure many will be just fine going with Packey Webb, but my business for service, parts, and future cars will be going to a different dealer.

Came here to look at a Jeep that I found online. Bill Kay has several dealerships in the suburbs…read more I've never been to one before, so this was a fresh experience and review. We parked by the Jeep in the lot, and it looked well enough to test drive. The sales guy, Paul, greeted us, and I agreed to come inside to talk test driving. Several employees and managers are smokers. They were outside, but I'd recommend not hanging outside smoking in front of customers. Remember, first impressions can be everything. Paul was friendly and not pushy. I thought the negotiations went smoothly. The dealership does charge $2,xxx on top of the vehicle price for "reconditioning." I didn't really hassle on that knowing markets tough, and dealers do spend money prepping their cars. That seemed high, though, for what they did to it. The finance phase of the purchase was fine. They seemed a little inexperienced because they kept throwing "well, our customers typically get this add-on" and some scare tactics like "you never know if you'll need repairs that can get really expensive." Once you calculate the cost of the warranties (because they only show you monthly payments), the warranty is well over $5,000. I'll pass. Overall, it was a quick 2-3 hours. That's relatively short from my experience. Like I said, Paul was very nice. I just don't recommend the smoking around customers. 4/5 stars.

We genuinely liked the car and told them we were interested in purchasing it if the terms were fair. When pricing was discussed, we were quoted a purchase price higher than the price listed on Cars.com. In addition, the trade-in offer was significantly lower than the Kelley Blue Book value, and a mandatory $3,200 protection package was added to the deal. We explained that we would consider moving forward if the $3,200 add-on could be removed. While the trade-in value was slightly improved, the dealership stated that the protection package could not be removed and did not match the original Cars.com price. Ultimately, we decided to walk away. While we were disappointed, as we expected to purchase the vehicle we test drove, we were not comfortable paying $3,200 more than anticipated.
