A couple of months ago, I got rear-ended at a stoplight and was pretty sad about the condition of my car. In the crash, my rear bumper got impaled by the other car's tow hooks and one of my passengers also ended up spilling ice cream from the intensity of the hit. I just got my Lexus back from Luxury Auto Body (only took a week!) and they really did go above and beyond. To start, the repair was amazing, and it's like my car was never hit in the first place. These days, I think it's easy to forget what real customer service is like or that there are still genuinely nice people in the world. But my trip to Luxury Auto Body confirmed for me, both still exist. Recently I purchased some black-out grille's to replace the chrome grilles on my BMW. I had seen a couple of videos about putting them in, but as soon as I opened the hood to my car, I knew I wasn't prepared to do this no matter how simply anyone might say it is. I checked around for body shops that work with BMW's and LAB came up in my search. They are relatively close so I thought I would call them to see what they would charge. The receptionist put me in touch with "Mike" and I told him what I wanted done. Mike asked me what insurance I have and because my insurance (USAA) is one of their preferred carriers, he told me he would do it for no charge and told me I could bring it right over. Without hesitating, I jumped in my car and made the drive over. They are located in an area with many other auto specialists and easy to access from a major road. Very busy from what I could tell from all the cars being worked on but as soon as I walked in the door and let the receptionist know who I was, Mike came out to greet me. He took a look at my car and the new grilles and said he would work on it while I waited. I might have waited 15 minutes before I saw my car pulling up with the new black grilles in place. Mike knew of USAA's relationship with the military and he told me they are happy to help out and give a little back when they can. Then Mike and I chatted out other versions of the BMW and road driving trips. I have a couple of scratches and dings and Mike was kind enough to give me a rough estimate after I asked him to check out my car. I hope to never need major body work on my car, but without question, if that time ever comes, I will bring this or any other car I own to them. I only dealt with Mike, but I'm sure everyone else is just as cordial and helpful. It's really nice to find a business that will go a little out of there way just to be nice. I've never used their business before but they were willing to help me out in a way that is all too hard to find these days. If you need any kind of body work, I strongly recommend you come see them regardless of your insurance. I doubt you will find a friendlier place. read more

I visited Luxury at the recommendation of my car shop, Elite Service Center. I had a very usual incident where a big rock hit my car and damaged my front panel and cracked my windshield. Through my ordeal I had dealt with Ron, General Manager. My experience was smooth and seamless. I filed my claim with my insurance, and I was immediately assisted. The adjuster came out a few days later, and the report was emailed to me within a day. I visited Luxury to let them know my situation and had a day in mind to drop my car off. My car took 3 weeks to get back and for good reason. Ron inspected the damaged area and the area couldn't be repaired therefore the part needed to be replaced. Ron kept me informed that he would need to special order the part, then color match the vehicle. The windshield needed replacing too and he wanted to make sure that that process of installment was perfect. The team made sure that I was taken care of with shuttling me to work and picking me up. Also if I needed a rental, Ron was quick to assist with any arrangements. When I picked me up car, I was impressed. You def cannot tell that repairs had been done, and my car was detailed- so fresh and so clean! If ever I need repairs again or need to refer, I would recommend this shop 100%!!! Unless you get into an accident once a week, chances are you won't have a 'favorite body shop'-- until it happens to you: There you are, 6 pm in rush hour traffic on Encinitas Blvd, stop-and-go in the slow lane, 10mph waiting for everyone ahead to turn right into their prescribed driveways, just a couple blocks away from your destination: sweet and peaceful yoga class. And then WAM! -- an idiot uninsured girl rear-ends you because she decided to look away from traffic to find her makeup or her cell phone or whatever. And then you don't know exactly what documentation to collect or how to contact your insurance or any repair shop because... it's past 6 pm! And you need a tow truck because you don't want to risk damaging your precise AMG engine because both your exhausts are bent out of shape. So, yes, it's going to be a big hassle, but SO much better when you reach Ron Melanson at Luxury Auto Body. He is calm, organized and thorough, and your car will be fixed with the right parts in the right way. My Mercedes Benz E350 Coupe got hit while parked in the parking lot. The insurance company wanted me to take my car to one of its affiliated collision shops to have it adjusted. My initial thought was to bring it to a Mercedes Benz approved collision shop. However, they are not an authorized collision center for the insurance company. So I needed to take it to luxury auto body to get a quote before I decided who was going to fix my car. When I first got to the lobby of Luxury Auto Body, my first impression was that this shop is nice, the receptionist was friendly, and I was greeted and acknowledged by one of the staff who was at that moment still dealing with another customer, which is not something you normally experience unless the place has good customer service. I met with the manager Ron Melanson, he was very polite and professional and has full command and knowledge of his craft, and I instantly connected with him. I felt his sincerity and honesty, and I felt comfortable in having my car get taken care of here. He assured me that all Mercedes Benz original parts will be used, and boy was I happy. I didn't want to go to the Mercedes Benz collision center anymore, and I'm glad I didn't! I was tremendously pleased with the results! I got my car back in immaculate shape and I got it at the time they said it was going to be done, they even did more than what was paid for by the insurance company.
