Miramar Auto Body gave me my fourth quote and as Habieb, the owner, predicted it was right in the middle. He took the time to explain the process and said he wanted to do the repair correctly so he could warranty it. When I asked him if he thought it was worthwhile to pursue the repair, I appreciated his candor when he gave me a much more cost effective workaround. He told me I could buff out the color transfer and get touch up paint to hide a dent. Habieb took it a step further and had one of his employees buff out the paint for me and refused to accept any compensation. It's not often when someone will turn away business. I dropped off my Toyota Camry for paint job due to minor scratches on the rear side fender. The paint job was done in couple of hours as to what expected by Habieb (owner of the shop). His painter shop technician did an excellent paint job putting it looks back to original paint and the scratches disappear. The repair cost was even lowered than it was previously estimated. I had smashed my passenger side mirror backing out between two pillars and bought a replacement part to get painted and installed somewhere. First of all, Miramar Auto Body was one of the few places in my area that would paint individual parts as a service! From the first phone call Habieb was very courteous and helpful, and easy to coordinate with before I came into the shop. When I brought the car in-person he was even more helpful. He provided me with car tips & knowledge, and references to reliable local services and any general questions I had. They pride themselves on honesty - I was charged less than the quote due to the labor being finished faster! I was even able to see a bit of the work they were doing on my car. Although I didn't have any extra time, he was sure to offer a courtesy car wash and inspection which I appreciated. Their estimator promised he would get back to me Thursday, the morning after I called. He asked that I email him images of the vehicle, which I did. When I called Friday to find out where things stand, the woman who picked up blamed my email address for the lack of follow-up. After locating my email, she gave me a spiel about how complicated the repair would be and started a song and dance about how I would need to make an appointment to be helped. I understand there is a protocol and your estimator is busy, however, do not blame me for your lack of responsiveness or customer service. The estimator did not follow through and now I am in a lurch, not you. This same woman, whose job is customer service, said she would not help me because of my accusations. Here's an idea: Do your job and then there will not be issues or unhappy prospects. As someone in sales and customer service, I know how far listening and empathy can go. We have been in the Miramesa for over 10 years now. When we first got here I got scammed by another mechanic place, can't remember the name. Shortly after that I found this place and have been coming here every since. I normally do my own repairs but for stuff I am either too lazy or can't fix because I don't have the equipment, I come here. They replaced my wheel barrings. No BSing or trying to up sell me on stuff I don't need. They also fixed my whole front end after an accident. Habieb quoted me for the repair, then charged me less because they were able to re-use some of the parts. What other shop is gonna do that? Probably none. While I was deployed my wife had the coolant and thermostat charged. It didn't turn into some super high cost just because she's a woman. It was just straight business, replaced what was needed, changed the right price. No extras. Last week I replaced my own oxygen sensors but the maintenance light would not turn off. About a week ago I had an unfortunate accident happen while I was at a drive-thru waiting to get coffee. A few landscaping people were working at the top of the hill overlooking the drive-thru when a large rock slipped out of one of their hands, rolled down the hill and slammed into my passenger side door. Stay away from these scammers!! If I could give zero stars I would. Got into a collision and took it to the shop because I called before and they said they didn't have much work and could fix it quickly. The owner was super nice at first and acted like he was a good friend. Later found out my insurance wouldn't cover the collision so I would have to pay out of pocket. I asked the owner to give me an estimate and what I needed to get the car running so I could fix the rest with my personal mechanic. They took 2 weeks to get back with an estimate I would call everyday to see what's the hold up and they said they had a lot on their plate after telling me they didn't have much work before. The storage fee is 80$ a night if you don't fix anything with them and I would have to pay almost 1k to take my car from them. I would've just have taken my car elsewhere if they said they were busy but they said they didn't have much on their plate. Every time I called as well they sounded very annoyed at me for asking about a job they're paid to do??? Horrible customer service After they finally gave me an estimate they wanted to charge an outrageous price for work that could've been done for half the price elsewhere. I fixed a couple things there to get my car running and still cost me a heavy fee. They did a lousy job with what little I gave them to do. Lazy work!! My mechanic said I had leaks on my radiator and that they just covered it with some adhesive paste but failed to mention there was a crack there. They left a part hanging so that when I turned a hard right my tire would scratch that part. These people are scammers and don't deserve any business from people please don't come here!! read more

IDK about any bad reviews below, but I had a great experience over at Miramar Auto Body. I own a nearby business and sometimes we scratch a car (or worse) and pay to have it repaired. As an independent body shop, these guys will fight to make sure your car is repaired properly. Specifically, State Farm now uses only used parts, if they can find them. Which means your brand-new car might get a part from an old clunker. Often it is cheaper just to get the part new, and this saves the insurance company money. Also, the new parts that are more expensive, are only marginally so. So it is silly for the insurance company to argue with their customer. If you go to a insurance-preferred auto body shop they will be fighting for the benefit of the insurance company. These guys fight for you. They do a good job, and they take ownership over their work. Overall, it was a good experience getting my car repaired here. read more

Top notch. We used Miramar Auto Body for the first time a couple of months ago when my husband's rear windshield shattered. They worked very quickly and shopped around for the best price on replacement glass for us. Very fair prices and friendly staff. Well, I'm back again today for a rear bumper reflector that popped out and they took my car in and fixed it immediately for me! Will continue to use in the future! Took my precious BMW here to fix the rear end after being rear-ended on 5. Habib made me an estimate while I waited, then contacted the ins. people to make their inspection. Marshall called a day after that, and said he had the parts, let's go! He also found a thing or two that the ins. inspector didn't. 5 days after drop off, it was ready. PERFECT, IMO. They even appeared to have washed and maybe waxed the car (they noticed I take care of it). Don't go to the inexpensive body shops, go where they care about you and your car. read more

Took my car to Miramar Auto Body, I got multiple quotes and Miramar was the most resonable price but I got the best customer service. My car is older (2001) and a few of the body parts were discontinued. Habieb and the team worked tirelessly to find the needed parts. Recently my Infiniti G35 had its rear spoiler damaged - someone tried to rip it off my car. I was driving with a duct taped rear spoiler! Not attractive at all. But fortunately the duct tape matched the color of my car, right? Since it was vandalism, it fell under my insurance coverage, minus the deductible. I also had some repair work I needed to get done on my front bumper - out of pocket expense. So, I went to 3 places to get a quote, including Miramar Auto Body. The first two places told me they would have to do more work than the insurance estimate, so they would contact the insurance company to get that approved. But they also quoted me $500 for the front bumper repair. Now that was a big tip off for me, because I had gone to both places before when I just needed the front bumper repaired, and they both had quoted me under $400 - but now somehow that same repair was going to cost $500..... Hmmmm.... But Miramar Auto Body said they could do the insurance covered repair in the price range the insurance approved it (and even showed me the pricing for the replacement parts and labor). But they also gave me a quote $100 less than the other places for my front bumper repair. I was told it would take 4 days to complete the repair. They were very thorough in explaining what needed to be done, how it would be done, and how long it would take. I felt like I could trust them (plus I would save some $$). I dropped the car off Monday afternoon, and it was ready Friday afternoon - on time. The repair looked awesome! The rear spoiler and the front bumper looked perfect - practically brand new. But the car looked even better... I couldn't quite place my finger on it. Then I noticed, the headlights had been cleaned up. Some car headlights start turning yellow over time, making them look foggy. I had purchased a cleanser from auto parts store and would defog them myself but that had to be done every few months (and I don't think I would put enough elbow grease into it, because they never looked this good). My car looked amazing! So not only did they do great work, were honest with pricing and timing, and saved me (and the insurance company) money, but they threw in a bonus I didn't even ask for. Sweet! I took my car in at the end of May 2014. I can't say enough how impressed I was with the service I was given. I did not claim my minor bumper accident on my insurance, so they were very understanding and even gave us a military discount as my husband is active duty. I dropped my car off on a Friday morning, and it was done by Monday afternoon. It looks brand new! I went to several other auto body shops and their quotes were at least $1,000 more every time. The only slight complaint I have that the total bill was ~$100 more than my original quote, and they did not call to let me know. I had my Nissan 350Z repaired recently at Miramar Auto Body. The estimator Charles and the manager Habieb sold me from the beginning. They helped me with every aspect of process, including setting up the rental with Enterprise in the beginning.I was updated every other day and my car was gorgeous when picked it up. This shop checks all the boxes of a good body shop. I mostly dealt with Habieb; he didn't seem to give me BS that other auto shops tend to, was prompt with communication, and is extremely knowledgeable about body work and cars in general. My car was delivered within the estimated timeframe, didn't need more parts or work than Habieb had estimated at the start. Labor rates are fair compared to shops in the area. The work itself seems high quality, with good installation and paintwork. If anything goes wrong I'll update this review but so far so good. The one minor issue I had was that reinstalling some components tripped an airbag sensor error code. Habieb personally fixed the problem the minute I came back. High volume low quality repair. Brought my $ 900 wheel for a curb scratch repair and I've regretted it ever since. Went back 4 times and wheel looks worse than when I bought it. To their credit they tried to remedy the situation but result was horrible. Clear coat peeling off, holes on the rim, not painted evenly, etc. Try to find a more reputable lower volume higher quality place especially if you have an expensive wheel and are meticulous about your car Like l said, it was brought back 4 times because it was not painted correctly and they put the wheel through the machine that takes off a few millimeters of metal off the face of the rim 4 times. The structure of the wheel has actually been compromised as well as the style. The wheel looks worse than when I bought it in. Only way to fix the wheel now is to buy a new one at $ 900. read more

I have restored 3 cars and have done body work myself many years ago. I went here by mistake. I was dropping my car off at 4am an wanted to go to the place next door A&J which had rave reviews. Armando was very kind on the phone. The work happened in a reasonable amount of time and the price was fair. The quality of the work was not good. I dropped in a few days before the work was complete to check the progress. No explanation of the Insured work performed was ever offered. The clear coat paint was horribly applied. IT looked like the surface of an orange at best. Sanding dust and water were completely slopped into my vent under the windshield. Additional damage on a rear fender occured at the shop I told Armando and he blew me off. An area on the hood was painted but never filled resulting in two small dimples that were painted but not flush with the body. Armando made up an excuse that the clear coat didn't fill in holes. It was obvious that the area had been painted and his techs neglected to spot fill the holes. I also paid for a $240 detail and picked up my car covered with shop dust. The fender and the door were not aligned properly neither were the hood and fender. I could have brought the car back and given them the chance to correct the repair but my time is too valuable to waste. If your time is valuable to you you might consider other options for a repair facility. I would not return to this shop again. read more
