He was very professional and gave us daily updates, and was respectful of checking in with us while we work from home too. Also, his stucco work was superb! LIKE WOW!! Our experience with Luxe Concepts--including Joyce, Howard, Arturo, and Carol, whom we understand to be the owner--has been extremely disappointing. We repeatedly requested that senior management investigate a serious problem involving Luxe's installer, Jose, but instead of addressing the evidence, the company dismissed the matter and refused to accept accountability. Luxe acknowledged that Jose is employed by the company as an installer. Our contractor brought Jose to the property as his "window guy" for the specialized window work. Jose came to the house for the measurement visit, and Howard confirmed that the measurements Jose submitted were used for the order. Jose also communicated a quote that included an additional $2,500 for installation labor and materials. Howard specifically asked us to provide written proof that Jose was the intended installer and said Luxe would investigate if we produced it. We then provided written messages confirming that: * Jose was the "window guy." * Jose came to the property for the measurements. * Jose communicated the installation quote. * The additional $2,500 was specifically for installation labor and materials. Rather than investigate that evidence as Howard represented, Luxe began deflecting to other names appearing on the paperwork. That does not address the central issue: Luxe's acknowledged installer was brought to the property for the window work, was connected to the measurements used for the order, and communicated the installation price. We escalated the matter to Joyce, Howard, Arturo, and Carol and asked management to review the documented facts, explain the conflicting accounts provided by Luxe representatives, produce the original measurements and specifications, and propose a reasonable resolution. Despite involving the company's staff and ownership, no one took responsibility or meaningfully addressed the evidence. Joyce's final response was simply: "We will not provide anything at this moment since the order has been completed." Calling the order "completed" does not address improperly measured or configured windows that cannot be installed as intended. The response was dismissive, unprofessional, and demonstrated a serious lack of accountability and concern for the customer. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Luxe Concepts. Customers should obtain written confirmation identifying who is responsible for measuring, selecting the window type and configuration, submitting the order, installing the windows, and correcting any resulting errors before making payment. read more

Highly recommend Luxe Concepts. They were referred to us by our GC and we had a great experience working with Arturo. He's knowledgeable, honest, and easy to communicate with -- which makes a big difference on any home project. There was an issue with our glass install (the wrong hinges were used), but Luxe handled it quickly and professionally. They made it right and even covered the tile repairs without hesitation. I'm at a loss how this company is in business and how they actually get/keep clients. Our GC recommended them and so I got a quote from Luxe Concepts and from our previous one California Shower Door. Beware: LC may be more reasonable but you get what you pay for. If you want the lowlights: poor follow up, disorganized scheduling and communication, lack of customer service, NO WARRANTY, and POOR quality installation. The warranty I didn't even think to ask until I read another yelp review (after I paid) and it's true. Nothing in the paperwork where other companies will include 1 year. Read below for more details. First off, it took awhile to make just an initial appointment. They come into SF infrequently. We finally got one with Arturo. He took our measurements and said they'd get started on the order and call for credit card details (we already received an estimate through our GC). Well 10 days later we still hadn't heard back and the order was only supposed to take about a week or so. When I called Arturo, he had no recollection of our order and said, oh let me send you a quote. And I said we already have one I thought you started our order? Mind you, we can't take a shower this whole time we are waiting. I gave him our payment details right away because I needed to get this order going. A few more days go by and he calls back to say they have an eta on the glass and we scheduled an install date. I specifically asked if the hardware would be in on time because our last shower install the hardware didn't arrive and then was discontinued. He said "oh yes of course. Everything will be in." Arturo confirmed 3 times of our install date by email, by text, and by phone. Install date rolls around and at the end of our arrival window, no one has showed up. We texted and called Arturo with no response. After calling the office number they advised they had NO record of our installation for that day!!! We were shocked, how could they be so disorganized?? We had arranged to WFH that day and arranged with our building of the install. The reception lady (very poor English) said the hardware wasn't in. UNBELIEVABLE!! We told them to call us when it came in. After waiting a whole other week, still no phone call from the office or Arturo to follow up. I called the office back and they said they had talked to my husband and scheduled an appointment for Thursday (2 days from then). I told her that was impossible because he confirmed no one called him and we weren't even going to be home on Thursday. This whole time, Arturo is MIA. Worst service ever. Now comes install day. They did text when they were on their way and arrival eta and did arrive during the arrival window. The 2 installers spoke ZERO English so it was difficult to communicate with them. They took zero pride in the install, leaving the glass FILTHY DIRTY, FINGERPRINTS EVERYWHERE. Also they put these stickers on them that left this super sticky residue. We had to use cleaners to scrub it off. What was the point of paying for the extra diamond coating! We hope we didn't damage it in the process. After all that, Arturo sent a note to see if there was anything they could improve. The nerve after not acknowledging the huge inconvenience on the no-show install, delays, and lack of customer service. If you are the owner of this company, you really need to take a closer look at the staff you have in place. Sales, office and installers need to go. You could be making so much more money with good testimonials and referrals. read more

Recently, I had renovated my bathroom and again I called Luxe for my replacement customized shower glass door. I have to say, Luxe work was absolutely superb. We had a great experience with Luxe Concept Windows & Glass. We used them for three projects after our house was damaged from a falling tree: (1) We replaced several large front windows for greater energy efficiency and sun blockage; (2) we installed a custom shower door, and (3) we repaired a damaged window casing where the tree fell. On all three, Arturo provided excellent service and pricing. All three jobs were challenging--the front windows are odd-shaped and high up, the damaged window casing turned out to be more damaged than we thought at first, and the shower door was custom-designed as a "work around" for the shower not being rebuilt to its correct size. Arturo offered several options with a range of pricing, and explained each of them thoroughly. There were no issues with measurements or installation. All the work was performed on schedule; in fact, the shower door was installed earlier than expected. When we pointed out that one of the windows did not match the others, Arturo acknowledged it was a manufacturing defect and it was promptly replaced at no additional cost. We are pleased with how everything turned out and thank Arturo for his attention to detail and superior customer service. read more

Back in July 2019, Arturo, the sales rep came to take a measurement of my bathroom. He assured me that his design and measurement would work. So far so good. I paid 50% deposit to initiate the order. At around 10am on November 12, 2019, three installers came to my house. What a disaster, Arturo's measurement was off by 1 inch! This is a fatal error for a professional to make. These three Chinese installers had said that shower glass would not install straight up but would tilt. Long term problem foreseeable. Their solution was to place a piece of plywood between the shower glass and the drywall. It is such an eyesore when everything else is either frosted glass or brass and it would mold from moisture. I had to fight with those installers and Joyce, part owner not to pursue the option. Next, they mentioned the use of a plastic piece to fill the gap. Plastic breaks easily. I said to find a matching 3 inch thick brass piece as solution. From my experience of building a new home from ground up and dealing with contractors, most everything is fixable. Obviously, they did not want to do so but wanted easy way out. Joyce told me that our drywall is too thin for them to install screw anything to the wall. Supposedly she spoke with the shower glass manufacturer as well. OMG. My house would not have passed series of city and county inspection for them to sign off on certificate of residency. The moment I heard that poor excuse, I immediately asked my deposit back. I am not a complainer but I want to warn people out here that are looking to install shower enclosure to be careful woh their choice of contractors. GT glass should also need to take this 1 star review as a reminder never to b ass customers. They should know the customers catch on quickly. I realize again the difficulty of finding a competent and sincere contractor. End of story. read more

They have super team and friendly staff with joyce, art and howard and owner carol is exception too. Very helpful and responsive with quote and answer nick pick questions from clients. Price are super reasonable and if issue arise they take care of it on my behalf without me dealing with suppliers vs store like Lowe's or Home Depot. Also nice they speak English, Spanish, Chinese so it good to send client over and they can assist them without you there all the time. Make life easier for a busy contractor like us. We received very professional service from the first phone call (thank you Art) throughout the installation. They replaced 4 old single pane windows and a garage entry door from our backyard. Very reasonable, friendly, and professional. Afterwards, I did a walk through with them of the work and everything looked fantastic. They know all the tricks too. There was one existing window in the garage with a minimal frame (one sheet of glass with wood trim). The installer scored the glass and broke it perfectly into 4 pieces without shattering the glass. This made for easy removal (in four pieces) without getting broken glass everywhere. This is just one of the things I noticed that they have been doing this for a number of years. This place does not have experts or for that matter professional installers. They are amateurs who try to fit things hope it works. I got some glass doors and panes installed from them. They told me it will take a week. Took them 5 weeks. Every day they will have a guy come in for a few hours and try and install something. Change hardware try again and again. This year, we decided to renovate our humble home. Thus, replacing the 8 old windows and 2 patio doors (over 15 years old) were definitely on the list. Our renovator recommended GT and gave my number to GT. On the very next day, I received a call from Qiao, the boss lady of GT. Since this was the first time i am replacing windows, I had a lots of question. Qiao, and later on Joyce, took their time to educate me and walked me through the process. When Art came to do the measurement in the following week, he brought a bunch of catalogs with him and he further explain the pros and cons of each brands. Two days after the measurement, Joyce sent over two set of estimates of the two highest quality windows they carry.(Milgard and Simonton). When I first saw the estimates, my first impression was they were too high and way over my budget. [ I later learned that my original budget was unrealistic after i compared two different quotes from two other vendors. Speaking of the two vendors, getting the quotations from them was a totally different experience. Unlike GT, I have to leave messages on their voice mail to urge them to provide me with the quotations. The quote i got from the others fall within the same range of GT's quotes.] So when the ladies from GT called me back to follow up on the quotes, I just told them it was over my budget. They gave me two more quotes on two lower brands that i was not considering before. With the four quotes, my wife and I went down to their shop and looked at the types of windows. Their show room was very well organized. After looking at the different brand of windows and weighted in the options and warranty information, we decided to go with the original Simonton Daylight Max models. The installation day was set three weeks after. They apologized for the longer-than-expected and explained that they were in the busy season. The installation took one and a half day, 11 hours to be exact. Because one of my patio doors was not a standard size, they sent in their most experience installer (manager) to work on it. The team of three were very professional and polite. Good job guys! I will definitely recommend them to others and I am thinking of getting the shower door from them too. read more

I bought six vertical grain Milgard windows from G T Building Supply and 3 cheaper but also nice windows for bathroom and kitchen. So now we have double pane windows throughout house. Art and his staff were very communicative and helpful. Windows are expensive but I think we received a fair price. Installation took a day and 1/2 rather than two days. Two minor problems with the windows themselves were fixed by Milgard; Art didn't charge me until I was satisfied. read more
