Since we came with a diagram and measurements of the slabs ready, we received a quote on the spot, and we were shocked that the quote was about half the price of a nearby competitor and a fraction of the price of estimates for stone and installation online. They were very accommodating and super helpful generally. Once we paid for the stone in person a few weeks later, we went to the back to choose the 3 slabs. They were helpful in telling us which slabs might not be as nice considering we wanted smaller patterns. Then on the day of our kitchen renovation, the men who came to cut and sand the stone in our kitchen and took the whole day. They were really careful and made sure it fit perfectly. The TLDR/most important…read moretakeaways are: make your order in person and be assertive about asking for help rather than waiting for staff to come to you First, I visited every place that sold countertop and tile in the east Bay Area. USSS&T had the best prices by a significant amount. I looked at all their options, got quotes, and went home to think about it. I ended up returning in person to place my order, and I STRONGLY recommend anybody who wants to place an order do so in person. Most of the staff do not seem to have English as their first language so a miscommunication might be more likely to happen over the phone. Also, when I picked the stone I wanted for my countertop, they actually allowed me into the warehouse area where I was permitted to pick which slab I wanted of the ones available. That's not an experience most places will offer. They helped us load the tile into our car and we scheduled a time for them to install the countertop. Brief note that I emailed them about making an order the same morning that I decided to go in person, and they took over two weeks to reply to my email. So again, ORDER IN PERSON. They arrived at the time they'd said they would. I will say they told me they'd arrive "after 1pm", and the day of installation around 11am I got a call from USSS&T saying the installation guys would actually be arriving an hour early, at noon. They ended up arriving at 1pm anyways. So they got right down to business, very efficient and polite, made sure to check in with me and my contractor at each step. The whole thing was done in about 1.5 hours. I really recommend them. I also want to note that some other reviews mention the staff members seem unenthusiastic or rude. There's obviously a cultural difference here. The staff members were never rude or anything to me, they were very professional. If you want help at the store you can't just wait around hoping for somebody to approach you. You have to go up to a staff member and ASK to be helped. At this point they are happy to help and will be very efficient. They are also all knowledgable so no matter who you get to help you they'll be able to answer any question you have.

We repeatedly requested that senior management investigate a serious problem involving Luxe's installer, Jose, but instead of addressing the evidence, the company dismissed the matter and refused to accept accountability. Luxe acknowledged that Jose is employed by the company as an installer. Our contractor brought Jose to the property as his "window guy" for the specialized window work. Jose came to the house for the measurement visit, and Howard confirmed that the measurements Jose submitted were used for the order. Jose also communicated a quote that included an additional $2,500 for installation labor and materials. Howard specifically asked us to provide written proof that Jose was the intended installer and said Luxe would investigate if we produced it. We then provided written messages confirming that: * Jose was the "window guy." * Jose came to the property for the measurements. * Jose communicated the installation quote. * The additional $2,500 was specifically for installation labor and materials. Rather than investigate that evidence as Howard represented, Luxe began deflecting to other names appearing on the paperwork. That does not address the central issue: Luxe's acknowledged installer was brought to the property for the window work, was connected to the measurements used for the order, and communicated the installation price. We escalated the matter to Joyce, Howard, Arturo, and Carol and asked management to review the documented facts, explain the conflicting accounts provided by Luxe representatives, produce the original measurements and specifications, and propose a reasonable resolution. Despite involving the company's staff and ownership, no one took responsibility or meaningfully addressed the evidence. Joyce's final response was simply: "We will not provide anything at this moment since the order has been completed." Calling the order "completed" does not address improperly measured or configured windows that cannot be installed as intended. The response was dismissive, unprofessional, and demonstrated a serious lack of accountability and concern for the customer. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Luxe Concepts. Customers should obtain written confirmation identifying who is responsible for measuring, selecting the window type and configuration, submitting the order, installing the windows, and correcting any resulting errors before making payment.
