I'm so happy that my luck changed when I came across a recommendation for Desert Strands salon! I went through their stylist profiles and ended up sending Reilly a message asking if she had room in her schedule for a cut and partial highlight. I have very thick/ curly hair so I'm naturally cautious on who cuts my hair because sadly, not everyone knows how to cut curly hair well. (I have a number of horror stories) She was recommended to me through a mutual friend and I couldn't be happier. She made me feel comfortable and I feel I can trust her professional opinions on what styles would look good on me. My personal goal is to go short but I've always been kind of scared because it's a bold move for me considering I've had long hair my whole life. What I love that she has been easing me in the transition so it's not too shocking and to make sure I'm happy with the direction. Thank you Sabrina!

Kate and Barbara have truly achieved a fantastic vibe. Heather was my assigned artist. And she is awesome. Open, friendly, fun, and absolutely invested in what it was I was after for my mop of thinning hair. Constant conversation during the cut regarding the layering, feathering, length, "clunkiness," and overall feel of her work. I am a fussy, pain-in-the-derriere type of client. Not today. I enjoyed my entire experience so much, not only will I be back, but I booked my wife in with Heather for next week. Thats "two snaps up (in a Z formation)" from me !
