I am a Master groomer but unfortunately I live to far to accommodate her so I was on the phone to make sure she got what she wanted. My sister picked up her dog 4 hrs later ( which is crazy for a small dog) but if he had looked half decent it wouldn't have been a problem. Second he looked like he was in the kennel for 3 1/2 hours and taken out 30 min before it was time to go and no finished work was done. Third they cut him shorter without calling or letting my sister know in advance . Fourth , he didn't receive a bandana or smelled like he had spent 4 hours to get beautified . Then the assistant manager that I spoke with later said that if she paid more she could've gotten a master groomer.. like what? So the most basic clip in grooming history requires a master groomer for him to look decent?!!! I'm sorry but I'm tired of groomers charging and giving half ass results. He did not get a show groomed or hand scissor where I could see where it would require more experience. He got a basic clip. The explanation of why made even less sense. The groomer should have greeted the new client and did an assessment before my sister left on what she could and could not do. That's standard practice here anyway. This was a great disappointment. Train your groomers to hold higher standards in their work and maybe have the "Master" groomers do a once over their work instead of sending them out the door looking crazy.

IMPORTANT KNOWLEDGE FOR ANYONE WHO DIDN'T KNOW:…read more DID YOU KNOW FURBUSTERS AREN'T A FULLY STAFFED WITH GROOMERS? DID YOU KNOW UNCERTIFIED PEOPLE ARE BEING LEFT WITH YOUR PETS ALONE? -FUN FACT... IN ORDER TO GROOM CATS THE FOLLOWING MUST BE DONE: Cat grooming certification validates expertise in handling, bathing, trimming, and managing feline behavior, with key organizations like the National Cat Groomers Institute (NCGI) offering titles like Certified Feline Master Groomer (CFMG) through comprehensive online/in-person training, while International Professional Groomers (IPG) .... THEY'RE NOT REGISTERED! BUT THEY'RE ADVERTISING CATS SERVICES. I wasn't aware of this at the time, but You can easily search a groomer's name, or a salon's name to see if they are a "FULL SERVICING SALON." I'M GLAD MY NEW GROOMER IS KNOWLEDGABLE AND TOLD ME A FEW THINGS.... --THEY'RE NOT EVEN CAT CERTIFIED TO GROOM CATS!!! GROOMERS LEGALLY HAVE TO BE CERTIFIED FOR CERTAIN SERVICES FOR CATS. FURBUSTERS WERE NOT EVEN LISTED ON THEIR ORGANIZATION . IF THEY ATTEMPT TO REMOVE ANY OF MY REVIEWS I'M SEEKING LEGAL ADVICE.-- DISCLAIMER: This is a real, human-written review based on my personal experience. This is not automated, not AI-generated, and not spam. I am sharing this honestly because I believe pet owners deserve transparency. Review (if I could.... I would put 0) I brought my cat in for grooming and had a really disappointing experience. The handling felt rushed and rough, and I didn't feel like my pet was treated with the care and patience cats need. As a pet parent, that was extremely upsetting to witness. What made this worse was how the situation was handled afterward. Instead of taking accountability or addressing concerns professionally, negative feedback appears to be reported or dismissed rather than acknowledged. That lack of accountability is concerning and discouraging for customers who are simply trying to speak up for their pets. I do want to acknowledge that not every staff member was the issue -- some were kind and tried to be helpful. Unfortunately, the overall experience left me uncomfortable, and I won't be returning. I'm sharing this so other pet owners can make an informed decision. Our pets can't speak for themselves, so gentle care, accountability, and compassion truly matter. This was my first time ever going to FurBusters, and it was honestly one of the worst experiences I've had with a groomer. I only took my cat Tux in for a bath, nothing else. When I picked him up, they had completely shaved him down and even cut his whiskers. If you know anything about cats, whiskers aren't just for looks -- they help them balance and feel safe. Cutting them can really mess them up mentally and physically. If I did that at home, it would be called animal abuse. The fact that a professional grooming place did this like it was normal is just wrong. When I called about it, Layla brushed me off saying "he probably moved too much." They wouldn't even let me talk to or educate Bunny, the groomer who did it. No apology. No accountability. Just excuses. Tux came home scared, confused, and uncomfortable .... all from what was supposed to be a simple bath. That's not grooming, that's neglect. I really don't understand how they can do that to an animal and act like it's okay. If I were to do this to my own cat it would be considered animal abuse. This was my first visit and definitely my last. If you love your pets, please don't bring them here. They clearly don't care about the animals or the owners who trust them. BEWARE: FURBUSTERS ARE TRYING TO DELETE ALL BAD REVIEWS! PLEASE MAKE SURE YO PUT A DISCLAIMER THAT YOU'RE A HUMAN LEAVING A REVIEW! #CatGrooming #FurBusters #AnimalWelfare

Angel Lee loves Dee's!…read more The Staff: Everyone is very friendly. Paris asked all the right questions to ensure Angel's grooming met my expectations. It was Angel's first real grooming at this location. Nancy was warm and friendly and I loved how they had already remembered Angel's name. All the ladies are very caring with the animals. Pricing: Anyone who has a fur baby knows that we will go above and beyond to maintain their happiness. The prices are competitive but very moderate considering they are based in Sandy Springs. Angel's full groom including tip was under $100. Location: the location is easy to navigate and their is signage posted on various sides of the building. Angel's follow up appointment is already booked and she will be at Dee's Grooming Gallery Avery one 2-3 weeks! Because of their caliber of work, they book up fast but will ass you to a waiting list. I expressed my concerns, even having to take my dog back once after a grooming. I continued to return because they were close to home, however, after my last visit, I will not return. I asked for a low cut. Not only did they do a horrible job cutting his face, but they actually shaved down to his bare skin, leaving him irritated, with some patches of razor burn. I called to report what we experienced and told the owner I would not return. Her response was a very nonchalant, obligatory apology. Not even asking for an opportunity to make it right. I'm very disappointed in the service and care for my dog

So it starts with the evaluation day. They really did evaluate him. They told me details about him that they wouldn't have known without having the expertise and knowledge to truly understand the dog. They took their time going over the evaluation with me. They keep them in small groups of 5 dogs max, not in indoor rooms with large groups of dogs like some other day cares do. And the dogs get outdoor play as well, weather permitting, of course! Human to pup ratio is great, so they all get a lot of loving all day. Rather than long playtimes less times per day, they do shorter but more frequent playtimes. They work on exercising them physically and mentally. Primo comes home tired, like a kid that's played all day with his friends! I love it! Whatever commands your pup knows, if you want, they will incorporate them with your pup during playtime. Primo is thriving here. One time when I was picking him up, his handler was leaving for the day she loved on him and said good-bye, and he followed her as if he was going with her, and I was standing right there! He obviously loves the handler, and that just warms my heart. They celebrate holidays, do picture taking and make homemade treats for your pup. The staff is AMAZING. I don't have the words to express how AMAZING they are. They love what they do and it shows. fido fido is always training the staff keeping up on all things dog; that is something that I haven't heard from other day cares as I've researched where would be best for Primo. I can't imagine bringing Primo to day care or boarding anywhere else. It's Primo's family and home away from home. fido fido is the BEST hands down!!!

Robin and Oak Grove Pet Sitting came recommended and when other plans fell through, I decided to contact the service to see if they could help so we would not need to delay our plans. Robin and her staff were AMAZING to work with! The website makes it easy to add info about your pets so that nothing is a surprise. One of the employees comes to meet the pets and get a lay of the land. They took down so many notes from where things are located, treats the dogs can get, meal times, location of extra cleaning supply (if needed), emergency contacts, etc. Jeremy was assigned to us and man, did our dogs love him and the other staff member who helped. Every time they came, they took pictures, added a detailed list of what they did, time stamps, and an entry into the "Pet Journal." Even though we were away, we felt like we were not far. The cost is very reasonable and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this service to all of my friends!
