Went through the drive thru and it was quick and simple. Always good with their added spice and sauce. Chicken wasn't dry nor was the rice. Thought I'd share an updated menu because the most recent one was almost a decade ago.

    #3 Combination (Chicken and Beef)

I wanted to try this place because I pass around here many times. The restaurant is simple and casual inside, and there were not many people dining in. I got the #3 Combination with Chicken and Beef; the portion was great but the food was average. The service was also okay.

Teriyaki Chicken Bowl and a Chicken Egg roll. (Egg rolls are separate from the bowl)

I haven't had Luu's Chciken Bowl since I was a kid, we grew up eating it from their restaurant in the Eastside of Stockton. Recently at work we were talking about getting lunch and someone brought up Luu's, saying they haven't had it in forever either. So we went to the one on Pacific Ave, went through the drive through. Service was quick, prices are actually still pretty reasonable given how long they've been around and everywhere else keeps raising prices. I got the #1 which is the regular chicken bowl, I think it was around $8.95. Comes with the chciken, veggies and rice. We even got some chicken egg rolls. The bowl was good, still worth trying. The egg rolls were ok, I didn't care too much for them but OK. Definitely recommend for a quick lunch for a great price.

Too expensive for the food they serve. Their hot sauce is really good tho. Sherman's Chinese is so inexpensive and way better.

So we came in last night around 7pm bc we were in the area and my son was craving sashimi. Sat down and ordered a bunch of rolls with some sashimi. The food was decent with the price. We've been at many sushi places from the bay to central valley and gotta be honest, the price and portion size here is unbeatable especially the sashimi pieces. They were sliced twice as thick as other places. Now everything was going well until we paid the bill and walked to our car. As we got in our car about to leave, a kitchen staff with apron came in the restroom and walked out without washing his hand. Then another one came in to the other stall, walked out, light a cigaret and smoke for a bit before got called in the kitchen again, of course wasn't washing his hand. Im not sure which station those two were working in the kitchen but Im sure as hell not coming back to eat my raw fish being handle by those hands.

I had my two oldest grandchildren with me and they are adventurous like their Grammy!!!! The three of us chose a dish and one additional which was the steamed pork buns. Our order was take by computer that is in your table. We ordered: Steamed pork buns, shrimp fried rice, orange chicken, and shrimp rice ramen noodle. I will start with the best dishes: I will give the steamed pork buns an AA rating. They were buttery soft and were not filled with pork that has a lot of fat. I don't like biting into my pork bun and bite into a lot of pork that is crunching in my mouth. I hate that!!! This bun is just a little sweet, but tasty. The orange chicken was presented very nicely with thin orange slices decorating the plate. The grandchildren & I really enjoyed this dish. The shrimp fried rice was served cold, but had plenty plump shrimp which surprised me. I am not a fan of peas & carrots but the grandchildren liked it. The shrimp ramen noodle was not a hit with the three of us. It probably would do better as a ramen soup, it lacked in taste big time, so in some broth with a little seasonings I am sure would make a big difference. The plus of this dish was it too had plenty plump shrimp. I don't come out to Trinity Parkway often and I don't know if I would try this place again. The restaurant is not big inside; a little tight. There are some tables for two and some for four. The biggest table is for six and is in the front. Customers were coming in picking up their orders as well as Door Dash & Uber Eats. Our four orders with drinks came up to $73.+

After making the…read morereservation, I received a text stating that 1) They would only hold a reservation for 5 minutes and 2) An 18% gratuity would AUTOMATICALLY be added. I do not like being forced a gratuity for a party of 2, but I have been wanting to try Shirasoni for a long time, so I agreed to it. Being so nervoud about losing our reservation if we were 5 minutes late, we showed up 15 minutes early. The hostess asked if wanted to sit at the bar and have a drink so we did. However, after 10 minutes not one person helped us. Employees walked by and looked at us sitting there, but no one helped. Finally a gentleman asked if we wanted a drink, we said yes and he gave us a menu. Because it had taken 10 minutes, the hostess called us for our table. They were putting 10 at a table, so it was elbow to elbow. I am not sure if 10 is normal or they were just doing this for the busy holiday. The food was excellent. I had the Ichiban (Steak and Shrimp) and my husband had the Seafood Dynamite. They were able to do the Dynamite without the spicy sauce, so this is an option. You get a lot of food. The miso soup is a $1 upgrade from the mushroom soup. The dressing on the salad had good flavor but a weird color and consistancy. Our chef was OK, not great and our server was a nice young lady but she was very soft spoken so it was often ahrd to hear her. Sadly the bathroom was terrible. The toilets were dirty (seat) and there was toilet paper, paper towels all over the floor from the door to the stalls. They definitely need to clean them more often

Scallops and shrimps were cooked nicely. The "spicy" isn't really spicy, it's just siracha. I upgraded to garlic fried rice but it wasn't very garlicky. Came with a soup and salad. Salad didn't look appetizing but was flavorful! Miso soup was nice and hot. Still haven't found a hibachi dinner in Stockton that I would come back too. Side note, made a reservation but got sat 15min later.

I can't complain about the service, while they may be busy pretty much every night (that I've been anyways), they are almost always attentive and do a good job keeping our cups filled. What really has my heart here though is their "dry ramen" it's so flavorful and texturally pleasing. Not that I have a lot of dry ramens to compare to but I really enjoy theirs.

My allergies were KILLING ME but I still needed food nonetheless. Came in as soon as they opened, I was the first one in. Maybe it's just me, but I think when a restaurant opens, you should be ready, maybe not 100% but, at least to start orders. Anyways, it took me a bit to go over the menu and finally order. In that time the 2 people working the sushi counter were getting read still. In my mind, if you have a customer who had placed an order and there's 2 of you, the. 1 person should continue the prep and the other person should work on the order asap. It took a while to even get started on my order. When the food came out at first glance it looked pretty good. But I had already noticed that they had a pile of tempura shrimp in a container behind the bar. Meaning it's been cooked and just sitting out. Meaning when I took that first bite, as expected, the tempura shrimp was in fact soft and soggy. I order rolls with tempura shrimp because I love that crunchy texture contrast. The other roll with the tempura salmon on the other hand was much better with more freshly fried salmon so it had a better crunch. Not the tightest roll and 1 roll had too much rice overlap but it was fine. Because I'm not a sushi/sashimi purist, but more of a flavor combo guy, this place appeals to me from the standpoint of the rolls. I love flavor combinations with sauce as long as the roll isn't drenched. Overall, the flavors of the rolls were pretty decent but didn't pop. Was that my allergies keeping me from enjoying them as much? I'll have to come back and give them another shot. Side note Meta Glasses come in clutch when you don't have your phone for any reason. The server was very pleasant btw and checked on me frequently enough.
