I've been coming here since I was 13 and now I'm 20. I always got my nails done here for any school dance or occasion. The male nail techs will never fail to make you laugh. I have a big pet peeve with uneven or thick nails. They always make sure you don't leave looking botched, they also give complimentary hand massages with hot lotion and hot towels to wrap around your hands after getting any service. I have been to almost all of the local nail salons in my area - they're all nothing compared to Lush! I was recommended here by my 2 friends who get their nails done regularly. I was looking to get dip powder done for the first time for a music festival I was going to that weekend. I decided to try Lush out and I'm beyond happy I did! Every other place for some reason pushes me to either get sparkles, longer nails, or a design of some sort - Lush was the first place that did what I wanted to do by the book. I like my nails short, and when I showed the Lush nail tech, Alex, the length I wanted, he didn't even hesitate or try to convince me to do longer. He was super funny, approachable, and you can tell he's been doing this for a while. It was my first time doing dip powder and my nails turned out fantastic thanks to Alex! Made an appointment, so no walk-in craziness. I had one person buff off my polish from my last visit there, and soak in acetone. Waited 20 minutes soaking for the owner's wife to come w her phone and appointment books, take multiple calls while removing the rest of the acetone and old polish. She saw a picture of what I wanted (light pink nail w silver chrome tip), she explained the extra $10 chrome and $20 for tip (ridiculous, but I agreed). After 40 minutes w her, she hands me off to yet another tech after applying base color. She told the tech I wanted a basic French manicure (away from me and in a language I do not speak). As he starts to apply white tips, I tell him no, I want chrome. He assumed chrome finish. I show him the pic, but he did what "the boss said." Nope. All wrong. After discussing with the owner and his wife, again in a language I do not speak, he applied chrome over the white tip. TWO HOURS and $75 (plus tip) later, I have five chipped tips after two days. This was my second time there spending more than 1 hour each time. I have never spent more than one hour on my nails. I have never been handed off EVER before coming here, let alone twice in one visit. The last person to finish my nails was great. He was not given all info, and it was late in the day. Still, no excuse to not start the tips over and do it right. Never again. read more

Came in on a Saturday for a walk in pedicure and was seated right away, which I know isn't always the case, but the space was clean, and the pedicure was great. Quite disappointed in the pedicure I received last week. 1st time there and I was not aware of where nail polish was. Girl got upset I hadn't picked color yet. My daughter and I booked appointments here about 4 weeks ago. We called around 9am and made 10am appoints. We arrived 10 min early and not only had to wait 45 minutes, but they allowed walk-ins ahead of us and they didn't seat us together as requested. Since they did a good job, my daughter tried again today. 40 min after the appt time, they seated her. When finished, she had 3 crooked nails and then they charged her $15 more the exact same manicure as last time! However, I have now tried 3 times to attend when they open (according to their door-posted and listed online hours), only to be met with a locked door and no one answering the phone, up to 20 minutes past when the online hours claim they open. The customer service here is excellent! My husband surprised me with a last-minute appointment, and instead of the staff being annoyed with me being an "end of the day" client. They were super friendly and told me not to worry. They did not rush my experience, and they treated me well. After she hit my cuticles 3 times I asked her to "please be careful because she's hit them multiple times and it's starting to hurt". I found this place during COVID, I like going there due to proximity to my house, and overall friendliness of staff. But I am done. What is the point of scheduling an appointment, if every single time I have to wait 20-45 minutes to get to my services? They have no respect for my time, so I won't give them my business anymore. A few times already, I have made an appointment for right when they open, to prevent delays, but guess what? Let's say they open at 9:30, and owners don't arrive until 9:45 to open the door, and by the time they get situated it is 10am. That is 30 minutes of my time being wasted. On Sunday, I have made an appointment for 10am for pedicure and no chip manicure. The doors didn't open until 10:15, and by the time the lady started my pedicure it was 10:30am. I told them I have to leave by 11:30am, guess what? I left at 11:45 with just a pedicure, and my gel nails removed. And then the lovely owner pretty much blamed me that my pedicure took longer than expected- no honey- you have waisted 30 minutes of my time. If you had open the salon on time, I would have left with a pedicure and manicure. You have no respect for your customers. Plus the last few times my nail quality wasn't too great. Rushed, uneven- and they ask you if everything was fine- and you tell them- Um it looks uneven or half of my nails are glued- and they say "OH, its fine". The chairs are worn down, for pedicure they will were brining hot water in kettles and pouring it into the tubs. A couple weeks ago, they ran out to towels for manicures and they used a napkin. How embarrassing. I am doing myself a favor and going somewhere else, where the business actually cares about their clients. read more

When I asked why she gave me the run around that because they removed my dip powder (that they put on and removed multiple times with no charge) . I went to Lush Nail Spa to get no-chip manicure and pedicures done with a group of five ladies. We had an appointment for 4 PM but we were asked to wait. After about 15-20 minutes wait, they took me in. And followed by the others in my group. We had 2 pedicures and 5 manucures to be done. The manicurist who was doing my manicure, also did 2 others' from the group, seemed a but rude to me. We called and confirmed that we can get nail art done, but any questions about nail art to my manicurist were not entertained. I got a plain NO for everything. Nobody's experience in the group was any different. My other cousin was getting her manicure done by the owner or who seemend to be manager there I suppose, and she was pretty rude herself. We got no smiles, no greetings from her or anybody else, and she was sooo busy during the manicure, she kept leaving my cousin all the time with no apologies or explanation. My sister's pedicure was a great experience for her, she was an elderly woman, who was taking and even offering good suggestions, talking nicely, had a smile on her face all the time. But my another cousin's was not the same. For her, the pedicure seemed incomplete, the pedicurist did not follow all steps, and when asked, she simply said "you don't need it". The manicure and pedicure itself was just okay. My no-chip came off in a week and I was able to pull the whole thing off by myself once it started coming off. Overall, it was a pretty bad experience. I'm a monthly visitor to nail salons and I have to say Lush's staff is great - but my God, it is a dirty salon. The shields are caked with spit marks, the lamps are filthy, even the chairs seemingly haven't been cleaned. And don't look under the towel at the state of the tables. My tech even dropped a towel and the cuticle trimmer on the floor and tried to continue to use them - I had to assertively ask her to sanitize the instruments again. That just shouldn't happen. If the salon could do a deep clean and then regularly clean all the surfaces, I'll be back. Otherwise, I'm better off with unpainted nails. read more

Let me tell you. For when I called I already recognized that this guy is who I spoke with on the phone when I made the appointment. Where the fuck is the sink? I stood in the middle of the floor where the pedicure area. One pedicure tech pointed at a small sink behind a nail tech. How in the world would I know that? Oh and one thing. Just because I was just there to get my old dip/powder manicure off. It does not mean I will not tip. If you do your job right. Update since last review. If you have the patience to wait 45 min past your apt time- they do great nails! You will encounter multiple customers waiting well past apt time in a small waiting area. They often seat you at the table and give false hope as the technician will be starting someone else's nails. They do great work but I don't have 3+ hours to give to a manicure.
