I like that she asked me if I liked the color after she painted a couple nails. She didn't pay attention to detail making sure there was no dings in the polish getting it looking perfect, and my massage wasn't worth extra money :( I also feel like it's pretty gross when they don't put the disposable bags in the foot tub for each client to keep things very hygienic. I am welcomed in every time that I come (which has always been on time - it's important to be punctual here as they are very busy!), usually by Phi. On my most recent visit, I booked a mommy-daughter pedicure and they ensured that our chairs together. The new chairs are quite fancy...very comfortable and I love that the massage options are easy to select and understand. We chose the deluxe pedicure with regular nail polish at $55. It was well worth the price considering how masterful Phi trimmed my nails, cuticles and then moved on to the multi-level scrubs, massage, heels and painting. I felt utterly pampered. With no one else there and no long wait, I couldn't understand why the only 2 people who worked there wouldn't give me more than 2 minutes to pick a color for my mani/pedi. With no time to look at the many color options, I just defaulted to my go to which is just a light, bright pink. Instead I got a very warm, mauve pink which isn't what I wanted but with the language barrier, it was tough to communicate that I wanted something different. Gel Mani: this was super rushed. My cuticles were given less than 3 min to soak in warm water before she went at them rather aggressively. I left with two bleeding cuticles. Mint lotion with no massage and my hands didn't feel any more moisturized than when I walked in. Regular Polish Pedi: also rushed and a very whatever experience. Again, she did not give my cuticles enough time soak before going at them - left with one bleeding cuticle. The hot towels that were used to wipe off the body scrub used for the leg massage was a nice touch. On both the mani and the pedi - NO cuticle oil was used. I have never has a mani/pedi without cuticle oil. This is a basic service in any mani/pedi and I was absolutely floored that it wasn't included. My daughter had a slightly more enjoyable experience but the elements of a mani/pedi that make it feel special still weren't there. $215 for two mani/pedis that weren't even up to standard let alone the luxurious experience anyone would expect for paying over $100 per person for a gel mani and a regular polish pedi. Over priced, below par, and the whole place also felt run down. I don't recommend it - book your appointment elsewhere.

I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment, but they took me immediately, regardless of how busy it was. The only downside was that regardless of checking in, they were not aware of which pedicure I was having and missed the detox water upgrade until later in the pedicure. Kim was my pedicure extraordinaire and was absolutely lovely. I thought she was very skilled, considerate and had a gentle, caring way of doing the pedicure. The detox pedicure includes a foot soak, nail trimming, shaping, buffing, and cuticle grooming. In addition you receive callus removal on dry heels, orange slices with a collagen sugar scrub, a collagen mask and a collagen lotion massage. It's quite luxurious if I say so myself. I truly felt pampered! I opted to have nail polish instead of gel (gel is a $13 increase in price, which I felt was steep), which looked great. They will keep you waiting in the chair for 15-20 minutes for it to dry though.
