This has been my home store since I was 15. Recently I moved away but my mom still frequently comes and gets things to ship to me since my closest store is an hour from me in Florida. The team and manager are always so kind and helps get us the things we need for my mom to ship to me. Seeing the word cosmetics and seeking a foundation without butylene glycol caught my eye while shopping at the mall, so we stopped in. Liz was so sweet and we learned so much. I forgot all about my cosmetics need and we ended up in bath bomb dreamland. Liz put on a display showing us how one of their amazing bath bombs performed live in a giant bowl of water. It was loaded with an array of colors, mica confetti shimmering sparkles and even pop rocks snapping! So much fun. We loaded up on bath bombs which are perfect for gifting. The smells are lovely! I recall sprays, soap, and hair treatment. She provided us a samply of the hair treatment, a shea lotion coin, and bar soap. Our girls have been enjoying the bath bombs and soap. I loved and went back for more of the lotion coins in my preferred scents. The hair treatment scent was addicting, but with the alcohol content felt a little drying and the scent turned metallic and unpleasant. They have the same scent in the soap so I picked a few of those up when we came back. My skin is happy and so are my girls. Customer service and quality ingredients are great at Lush. Great help and amazing store! I have gone in a couple times but have never tried the fresh facial masks they have. I had 5 black pots with me, meaning I could get a free mask. An employee named Jessie (I'm sorry if not spelt correctly) came over to me, asking if I needed help and I said I was interested in the masks. He explained to me everything I needed to know about how to store the mask, how often to use it and which one would be best for my skin type. He recommended Brazened Honey to me. This is the worst Lush I've ever been to, but if you know your go-to products you'll be OK. Not that it's the staff's fault or anything, they were slammed and for sure trying their best. I think corporate just gave them a raw deal in that it's tough to do any real shopping here because of space limitations. You can't get anyone's attention for more than 20 seconds. It was almost miraculous seeing someone get a simple demonstration on something like an exfoliate for their hand, because the poor salesperson looked as though she may be in huge trouble for spending an entire minute with someone. She was really trying and I appreciate her. I hadn't been to one in a few months, so I was looking for some recommendations on face masks as there were some new products. It wasn't worth the trouble so I picked my usual one and left. Some will read this and say "that's unfair Taric! They were busy!" and I'm sympathetic to that. But I've seen business even at these levels handled with much more grace at other locations. You just can't provide the full Lush experience when products take up half the floor space, let alone when you're fighting crowds. I'd opined about the greatness of Lush to my gf for quite some time, and I don't think she left impressed at all. Love, love this store. I stop in everytime I go to the mall and get something. They let you try out so many of their products and you always leave smelling really good. Pricing seems very high but bombs and other bath bars, oils and bubbleroons can be broken up for several uses which makes pricing very reasonable. The kids get their "rainbow" moldable soap. Great as a bath color changer, soap or shampoo. I usually cut each color into 4ths. I also get them the "ickle baby bot" which has lavender and chamomile great for before bedtime. I personally like the melts or luxury bath oils. They leave your skin so soft. Plus the melts arent fizzy like the bombs. I was greeted right away with a smile and anytime I had a question they not only answered it, but have samples to test the product to see if it's something you'd really like to buy. It's a bit pricy, but in all honesty a little goes a long way. Their containers are recycled and after you return five you can get a free small facial item from their bar. Most items are long lasting, but the fresh masks do need to be refrigerated and have a shorter shelf life. I loved the face washes and shower scrub. My skin always feels so soft without the help of added lotions. Speaking of lotions though I always always have to purchase the rub on lotions that look a bit like soaps that actually just melt right into your skin. They smell so perfect and leave your skin smelling and looking great. Bath bombs are always nice and every one is a bit different. Be prepared to spend a lot of money. I recently purchased some bath bombs the other day and had purchased all of the same kinds to make it easier as gifts. I ended up purchasing too many and wanted to return them for a refund. As I had my receipt and the bath bombs the lady said she couldn't give me a refund because the receipt didn't match the bombs. Wtf!? How is that my fault!?? SAME THING that happened last time!! They rang me up for a different item and now that I want to return the products I can't!? Seriously the management needs to re-train their employees if the same thing that happened last time, happened again!!!! So as she said she couldn't give me a refund she said I could exchange the products. I said well I don't want more and that's why I'm returning them and I don't want to give them to the same people I gave them to because I purchased all the same items. She said that was all she could do for me and I asked if I could have a gift card at least thinking I could just give that away as a gift instead, and unfortunately she couldn't do that either. I literally had to pick something there and then to exchange the products. How fucking inconvenient! Then she rudely accused me of at least purchasing "a couple" of those bombs that was rung up when I specifically told her i purchased none of what was purchased and showed her the ones I was wanting to return that those were the ones I had purchased in bulk! What did she not understand!?? In conclusion, I had no choice but to pick out new items and as I seen the catalog with the barcodes showing I saw that the item I was rung up for was right next to the ones I had actually purchased! I pointed out to her and said, as you can see the items are right next to each other so as you assumed i must've purchased the bombs I didn't, now you know that the employee made a mistake and rung it up incorrectly. My first time ever walking into a Lush cosmetics... and I'm blown away! The employees were all super helpful and fun and very knowledgeable on their products. The one-on-one experience that you can really get as they go over their products and give demos is amazing. I'm not usually a fan of lots of employee attention, but that's because the people working here were super supportive and helpful, making sure to not really pressure me into anything I didn't want to begin with. I walked in, knowing I wanted a hair treatment and bath bombs... and came out with exactly that!
