I love Lush for so many reasons, including their commitment to natural ingredients, ethical practices and transparency. Shoutout to my neighborhood shop at 3430 N. Sourhport in Chicago! The team is super friendly, knowledgeable and always ready with a suggestion and product demo when I need one. I love the layout of the shop because it's not overwhelming and they always have what I need in stock. I think folks forget about Lush after they departed social media (for ethical reasons, of course.) Consider this your reminder that Lush is still here and still has everything you need to live your best life. Have questions? Give them a call at (773) 525-7945 or drop by! Shop hours are Monday-Saturday 10-7 and Sunday 10-6. You can also place an order for pickup on their website or app (but let's be honest it's so much more fun to shop in store!) read more

LUSH - Cosmetics & Beauty Supply Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

I love this Lush location tucked away on Southport. The staff is so helpful, but will leave you alone if you're just browsing. Check out the fresh face masks if you're looking for a spa day at home- just remember to store them in your fridge. I love all the seasonal products and can't wait to see their fall and holiday collection. read more

LUSH - Cosmetics & Beauty Supply Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

I've been going here for years whenever I need something from Lush-- or whenever I just wanna smell some perfumes! Staff are always very bubbly and friendly. Store is clean and well stocked. The best Lush location I've ever been to :) read more

This location has everything I am looking for in a Lush: super friendly employees and my usual products always in stock!! Last time I visited, I had my boyfriend wait outside with our pup while I grabbed a few things quickly. As soon as I started shopping, though, an employee approached me and said I could bring my puppy inside. The employees showered him with pets and treats while I grabbed my items, so the shopping trip went above and beyond expectations for a quick errand. This location has such great staff!! read more

Purchase with caution! I was excited to try a new face cleanser. I specifically asked the employee about the return policy and was informed to just bring back the product for a full refund. Unfortunately, the product Happy Skin did not leave my face very happy. It stung and left my face oily. In 2 days, I came back to make a return and was informed I cannot be issued a gift card or store credit ( without a receipt). I was given no choice and pressured to make a purchase ( of equal value) on the spot. Make sure to get a paper receipt! Most establishments issue an electronic receipt, this location does not. Store does not value the customer and falsely advertises no hassle returns. read more

I love coming in here when I am in the area. The products never disappoint and I love they are cruelty free. The staff is also very knowledgeable about the products. read more

Amazing customer service! Very knowledgeable and generous with samples and explanations. Spent waaaayyy too much money here for someone who doesn't like baths. All products are natural with a shelf life. Especially loved all bombs and bars with glitter. read more

LUSH has to be one of the best businesses I know of. Their focus on sustainability trumps pretty much all other beauty stores. A large portion of their products is package-free, and they have an awesome program for returning & recycling their black plastic pots. They even have programming for causes outside the company: Shark Fin soaps for supporting healthy oceans, Charity Pot lotion for environmental and human rights groups, and even promoting, organizing and participating in climate strikes. This particular store embodies LUSH's whole culture, from sustainability to self-care to spunky cuteness! The employees are always so helpful- if you walk in and describe the type of product you're looking for, they'll usually have a few options in mind and will basically give you a tour. I love how they're energetic, relatable and knowledgeable, and they always offer to help you test their products. You can pretty much get a sample of anything you need. They go above and beyond the norm! As far as products go, I tend to gravitate towards the necessities like shampoo/conditioner bars, lotions and deodorant. Everything has been effective and worth the price, especially for clean/natural ingredients. The flashy bath bombs, oils and salts are also great for a treat yoself moment! Needless to say, LUSH is constantly raising the bar of what it means to be a leader in the beauty industry today. I love their stores and I'll probs be a lifelong customer! This perfect Southport store happens to be the closest to me, and I'm not sad about it! read more

The workers here are SO friendly and so covid cautious. Refreshing to see that years into the pandemic that the workers still care so much about keeping customers safe. I had a pickup and they made sure I sanitized even though I was in and out. Thank you LUSH team! read more

This is the first store where I discovered Lush and fell in love with it. Went into the store again to show my friend but had a horrible experience. Someone who may have been the supervisor or manager was not inviting and welcoming. We kept being looked at like if we were going to steal. I had been holding my product and normally the sales associate hands a basket, but not sure if they were just out of it that day. Very disappointed with the experience. My friend had questioned why did I love it so much. I'll just go to Sephora. read more

This is the least helpful Lush store I've ever been to. We were excited to walk in because employees usually show you the products and demo them but this was not the place. One associate approached us was ok, but left to be the cashier. The other associate the brunette with a bob haircut- oh my! She was stalking us but not helping. Eavesdropping on my conversation with my daughter and staring at us, she never spoke just followed us around the tiny store. At one point, I had no idea but my daughter told me after we left, she was standing right behind me! Really?? I'm shopping with my adult daughter and this girl is treating us like criminals. Really wanted to enjoy my visit and get some new items but her creeping around made us uncomfortable, I just bought an eye cream and left. Wouldn't have bought anything but I'm traveling and needed some things. Management should be aware this person should get retrained, as no one enjoys feeling unwelcome. read more

I have a strong flight or fight instinct when it comes to cosmetics stores lol. However, I can say that as long as I live in Chicago this is the only Lush store I'll be frequenting. Everyone that works there is just so sweet, kind, and knowledgeable. There were tons of explanations and zero pressure to buy. Love it! When I was checking out the guy behind the counter asked me a couple of questions and made me a sample banana mask to take home. It's chilling in the fridge right now. The purest of happys! read more

My daughter and I stop here every few days to grab some bubble bars while we are in town for work! We love the sweet staff at this location that we will continue our Lush adventures until we leave back for home! A smiling (even under a mask) face and happy personality goes along way during these Covid times! I also love what Lush Stands for and how they treat their employees! Always a customer. read more

I prefer going elsewhere. Very judgmental and arrogant people here at this location . Once I spent over $200 and Maria was so sweet. Wanted to be my personal beauty advisor. But they judge you how much you are spending. Once I was just picking a small order they made it sure to make you feel you are below them. They should all be fried. read more

This is my favorite Lush in the city! Everyone that works here is so genuinely friendly, they always greet me like a friend they haven't seen in a while. I never feel like I'm being sold to which I appreciate, and they take time to listen to what you tell them and give personalized recommendations or advice. I can never walk in here for one thing because they know so much about all their products they make me realize I need 3 more things than I came for. Aside from the fantastic team that works here, I can't really say enough good things about lush. I have really problematic skin and Lush seems to be the only thing (and I've tried it all ; every otc and drugstore face wash, one dermatologist after another, nothing seemed to help.) that made any impact on my skin. Really makes you think about what you put on your body. I'm a lush customer forever, and this is my favorite store. read more

4.5 stars. I love a lot of their products and cruelty free and fight animal testing. I've tried many products from them and for the most part think all of them are amazing! The employees at this specific store are all friendly and want to help you out! I was greeted when I walked in and when they saw what I was looking at, I was told more about the product and how it works, etc. I also love that this store isn't too big or overwhelming. Everything is out and easy to see. One con is that while products don't seem SUPER expensive, you get caught up and want to buy everything and the price ends up adding up! read more

11/2/17 I didn't get the names of the 2 employees working there but they were super nice and personable. This shop is cute (reminds me of a pop up shop) just enough space to have all of their products out on display. The woman who helped and guided me was very nice. I ended up purchasing the lavender standing soap and the avocado, apple cider vinegar soap. After she gave me a test demo with the lavender soap she gave me a ton of information of the product I was purchasing. How the soap is 100% lavender, information on the factory it is made in, and the benefits of the soap. "Side note: I originally stopped into this shop (never hearing of it before) because a friend suggested I do so." I ended up buying the lavender soap in hopes to get my son to sleep through the night (so far I've been lucky 3 nights) I also purchased the avocado and acv soap for his curly locks hoping that the soap would help maintain a better curl (I've only used it twice thus far) the first time using that soap in his hair, while rinsing it out I could see the dirt and grime leaving his hair. It gave his hair a softer, curlier feel after using the soap. I will continue to use this product on his hair because it is natural and the smell is amazing! If you haven't already please take a visit to Lush and to the woman who helped me in Chicago ... thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! read more

After years and years of trying different LUSH products, I would have to say their Mask of Magaminty and their Rub Rub Rub shower scrub in a tub are my favorite products and something I always have in my bathroom. I still get carded when I buy ETOH so perhaps there's something magical in their masks! I also keep a stock of bath bombs too, because you never know when you need to de-stress or just have a quiet bath. I love that LUSH has seasonal items too. Went kind of nuts with the Christmas themed bath bombs and bubble bars. And now with Valentine's Day, can't go wrong with the Lover Lamp bath bomb that shoots out little red cocoa butter hearts shoot out as the bath bomb fizzes away. Ahhhh. relaxation. It's sold out on line--glad I stocked up in store! There are many kid safe and kid fun items too--my son loved the dinosaur bubble bar and the star bath fizzies. The gals here are very helpful, really enthusiastic and knowledgeable about their products. It's always a fun time when I visit the store. read more

LUSH...LUSH...LUSH! LOVE...LOVE...LOVE! I stopped in to get a hair condition bar and was greeted immediately! Chio and Hamza were so knowledgeable about the products and passionate about the company! Chio and I started to discuss my upcoming trip and she was genuinely interested and excited for me! I love how I feel when I entered and left the store! Thanks Chio and Hamza for all the love! read more

Went in to try out some new products for my face. Lana was super nice and helpful. She was patient and walked me through a ton of products. She was very knowledgeable and you can tell she uses the products too. She even sampled the products on my hand, going through a couple of routines so I could see what was best for my skin. Lexy was also nice and patient. She was very knowledgeable as well and super high energy. They also will give you a sample of anything. read more

So friendly! Best products! Try the shampoo bars! They last me 5-6 months! Save the planet by using waste free products like these!

Whoever helped me today was soooo helpful. I wish I knew his name so I can thank him. Super passionate about the company, too. He did demonstrations on the products I was curious about, gave me samples, offered insight, and he talked to me like a friend. I really appreciated the genuine concern and willing to help me find the correct products. He offered me samples on the products I was curious about, but not 100% ready to buy. I can't wait try them out and I'll be back to this location to purchase. He also let me know if you save the jars you can trade them in for a face mask! read more

Went to the store on Southport. They have strict COVID precautions, thumbs up for that. The lady who helped me was excellent, she made it a very pleasant experience. The people who I've bought their products for always rave about them, also. read more

I stopped by yesterday for some much needed retail therapy and Brett was so helpful. As much as I love lush it can be a bit overwhelming and I always feel like I'm annoying because I have so many questions. Brett was friendly, knowledgeable and overall very helpful. read more

As a retail manager I have to say this location gets a 10 out of 10 and the ASM gets a 20 out of 10. My massage got double booked but determined to relax on my day off I went into lush. I was immediately greeted and asked what I was in for. I explained my unfortunate situation, was asked several questions about myself, how I like to relax and was provided with up to 3 option for both products I decided to go with in great detail as to why they were selected for me. Additionally, I was given a complimentary sample even though Lush had nothing to do with my unfortunate morning. Absolutely made my day! I'm always telling my team to look for ways to surprise and delight. Even though there is a Lush a block from my store I will only return to this one going forward. read more

I have to say, this store is my new obsession. I have to give a shout out to my girl Liz for changing my life. I have the driest skin ever and she introduced me to Buffy. I'm forever changed. I've been using lush for close to ten years. This is hands down the best location I have ever been to. Everyone is sweet, knows their stuff and just hands down amazing. On top of that, they love my dog and he gets to enjoy the experience too. This lush is doing it right. I love them. read more

I was at Lush today to pick up several scrubbies! Love them! Agree that the staff is extremely friendly & make you feel welcome! I

I rarely ever write Yelp reviews but I felt like writing one for this place. This was my first (and probably not the last) visit to this all natural body care wonderland. I was impressed by the service and the sales associates' knowledge of skin care. I needed a good concealer for my acne prone skin, and one of the employees, Alice, was super duper helpful in finding me some. She even gave me a couple samples of other face cleansing products to take home after testing them on my hands first. This place seems great for any gender. Guys, you should check it out. read more

So happy this local store opened! Happy and friendly staff! This store is a great size and better set up than most shopping mall locations. read more

So this store was my second LUSH experience in two days, and it was the BEST. Was a Monday, mid-morning, so it wasn't full of people, which I loved. The sales associate was super friendly and helpful in getting me what I needed. He helped me test a couple products, and made perfect suggestions without being pushy. Much more open set up than the mall in Schaumburg, which is still a nice store! Thank God there are two here in St. Louis. A 4-hour drive for cosmetics would make them a bit out of my price range. read more

This is my favorite LUSH location by far!!! All of the employees are incredibly friendly and since it's small and not super busy, the employees definitely take time to get to know you and make recommendations based on what you actually need! Amazing employees! I went in last week unsure what I wanted and Laura walked me through everything. She was patient and extremely knowledgeable of all the products. It was such fun I brought my friend in 2 hours later and Laura helped us again! She is a favorite and so is the store! read more

Can't say enough good things about this store & the products they carry. Alice is one of my favorite employees. She always has a great sense of what I want and what would be good gifts based on personality. The products themselves are everything. The BIG shampoo is my favorite along with the Beautiful body wash. But, you can't go wrong with any of them. read more

this new location is absolutely perfect! i popped into the freshly-opened store while i had few minutes before my soulcycle class and had a thorough conversation with shunni* about my mane and how to tame it! not only did i feel like she talked me through the specific differences between their hair products and what makes each unique and beneficial, but i walked away with a new product i was excited about as well as samples! this location is so convenient for me and i can't wait to go back and check out their new products! --- *wasn't able to ask for the proper spelling of her name. if you're reading this, i'm sorry! ;) read more

I had 20min before a massage, so I popped in for a leave in hair conditioner. It was a day where it snowed a lot, and I was the third customer they've had by 12:30pm, and so happy to see me! It was fun! I've been into other Lush's but it was just to browse, so this time I was happy to take advantage of their friendly customer service. The girls were so informed and it was great. I walked out with more than I planned to, but I've been wanted some Lush products to go nuts with. Look forward towards seeing how well they work! Everything smells so good! read more

This location is wonderful! All of the employees are super friendly and welcoming. Shoutout to Alice who sat down with me for over an hour to help me figure out a new morning/evening cleansing routine for my face - She explained each product really well and wrote down all the steps for me to take home (fool proof!). I will definitely be coming by again, thanks guys! read more

The best Lush location! All of the Lush locations I've been to have been full of pleasant experiences, but this location is by far the best. The employees really do their best to get to know you.
