Very nice high end store with lots of healthier options than traditional grocery stores. The bakery was outstanding with a large variety of baked goods, nicely decorated and delicious. I had to indulge in two of the jumbo chocolate chip cookies, one with walnuts and one without. There is a huge frozen food section with a variety of dishes. Now, I do not eat frozen foods but they do have a gluten free area with very little preservatives....for those who are gluten free. I did; however, purchase the chicken meatballs with garlic and the Italian style chicken meatballs...they weren't frozen just in the refrigerated section. The produce looked extremely fresh and delicious as did their meat section with a host of stuffed meats. There was stuffed pork chops, stuffed salmon, stuffed chicken and shucks, stuffed potatoes lol. The olive station has a variety of olives....from all over the world (as the sign says). I would definitely recommend this store if you're looking for healthier options. They do have great sales, only if you have a membership and honestly the sales are pretty darn good. I could've paid $2.99 for the chicken meatballs instead of $4.99. Checkout at the self-serve cash register was easy and there's an attendant available to help or catch shoplifters lol. Ordered a vegetable hosting plate. It wasn't even found/ready when I arrived. Deli staff was very nice, but plate was crap. Will NEVER preorder again. Think they found frozen. Carrots were half black, moldy tomatoes and cucumbers absolutely soggy. I'd do much better on my own. Wanted to save time-this isn't about the money. Waste of 60 bucks-straight to the trash! Do not do Christmas meal shopping on December 24th. I feel like the whole city of Plymouth had the same idea. It was pure chaos. What was really frustrating was there were about whole experience was the 5 employees at the front just chatting amongst themselves while customers waited. This is a grand Lund's & Byerly's supermarket , with an extensive, beautiful selection of organic vegetables, fruits and cheese. The produce here is so stunning and gorgeous! There is even a 2nd floor at this supermarket which is dedicated to the seating for the diners for Lund's & Byerly's diners of their renown hot food bar. The reason for my 4 star rating (and not 5) even though I love the store, is because of the self -serve deli/salad bar/hot food items...which the selection is a bit lacking compared to the other Lund's & Byerly's in the Twin Cities metro where there's 2 or 3 selections of fish and chicken and the food items and salad bar are refilled/refreshed constantly... but this one is smaller and lacking in the selections and not refreshed as much. Maybe the reason being possibly the store's so busy and popular they can't keep up with the demand? Yesterday, my friend and I visited @ 5:30pm which should be prime time and the food bar should have been restocked....but it was wasn't. My friend and I still enjoyed our time dining there, as we sat outside at a table under the umbrella and surrounded by beautiful potted plants and flowers. Each time, he followed her through the store, then suddenly got uncomfortably close, within inches, saying, "You're really pretty. How are you? I'm Alex." This made my wife feel extremely uneasy, and we decided to stop shopping there. This past Monday, our 13-year-old daughter asked to run into Byerlys for a coffee. Shortly after entering, she noticed someone following her. It was the same employee, Alex, who is an adult male, then got inches from her face and said, "Hi. You're really pretty. What's your name? I'm Alex." My daughter left the store upset and shaken. I reported these incidents to store manager Dillon, and later spoke with manager Christopher, who assured me that "everything has been handled" but wouldn't confirm if Alex had been fired. However the rest of the store was kept up to the professional level I expect from this place. Parking is easy even though you have to go at least two stop signs before you make it to the party. This is a store for convenience shopping only. Prices are crazy expensive here- this includes everything. I shop sale items and pick up wine when prices are decent. At least they've finally improved their produce cases. However, they need to check their produce better- bought some fresh dill recently and it was bad. When I think of Lunds I think of upscale, fancy, and an ode to Minnesota. This location hits on all of those marks and exceeds in doing so. This one of the better Lunds around and I choose to go here when I need to go to one. Experience: My experience at this location has always been a pleasant one. The employees have been friendly, the food has always been high quality, and store is always immaculate. I have come here for the take and bake food, the deli, the alcohol, the Minnesota themed foods, the flowers, the desserts, so just about everything! I have never left this store unsatisfied and it has ways had what I needed when I need it. I would say the best things about this store for me is the take and bake food that's precooked that just needs to be reheated. They have soups, chicken, steak, wontons, pizza, just about anything you can think of. The next best thing is their meat/fish section. I have gotten some of the best cuts of steak from anywhere here and some of the freshest seafood you can find in Minnesota! The final best thing here for me is that there is a Caribou on the inside that leads up to a second floor eating area. You can grab your favorite drink from Caribou, grab something to eat from Lunds, and head up to people watch from the ceiling! There's ways something here for everyone and it's a nice quiet place to do your grocery shopping. Overall: If you have the time to go here I definitely recommend it. It's not going to be as quick as your Target run and it might be a little more expensive too. In the end it does have a lot to offer and does make your mundane grocery run more fun. Lund's & Byerly's will always be the fancy grocery store with carpeting. Ooh LaLa! Honestly though they have great deals too. Always check out their flyers while shopping. You can save some money and get delicious stuff. They have an amazing olive bar! Get all kinds of delicious Briney goodness. You get to pick your favorites. Yum! Their salad bar and hot food bar are rather yummy as well. I actually like the taco bar the best. Their Wednesday night sushi special isn't too bad either. Even with money saving specials you get fabulous service! They bag your groceries and take them to your car for you. Save a few dollars to tip the awesome grocery baggers. I love Lunds. I worked there for as a teenager. I shopped there for special things as a young (20's) adult even on a tight budget. I continue to frequent here for selection across the board. That being said they can do better on the Just Darn Good Turkey Sandwich. I've been getting these for years. Solid and simple. Economy is tight but come on you can do better for 9 bucks after taxes. I do Like the Byerlys chain but this location of Lunds in Plymouth people are idiots!!! Omg it's so crazy that every time I've gone there something so bizarre happens & the People working there omg I'm so disappointed. I can't go crazy with the stars because the prices are higher than any other grocery store in Plymouth, but it's good because: they are open all night, the attached liquor store sometimes has good sales (BOGO wine), they have a great cheese selection, nice sitting area, frozen Gino's East side pizza, and I've never had to wait in long lines or deal with crowds.....which is good, because I normally only go there when I want to grab dindin, or a lunch on the way to the office, vs. actual stock-my-kitchen grocery shopping. This place is different even from the standpoint of Lunds standard... There is no flow to the way they set up things here. Like a typical guy I get lost here and go back and forth on several isles because I have no idea where things are. In all honesty, that is not my main reason why I go here. I consider this place as a very good lunch deli place especially it is next to my favorite Lifetime gym(Plymouth) where I go quite often during the work week. This is our neighborhood grocery store and we are big fans. Everything is very well laid out. Their prepared foods are excellent. Our favorites include the Six Buck Cluck rotisserie chicken on Fridays, the cole slaw, the Sunny Broccoli salad, and the Cranberry Maple Bacon Baked Beans. The produce is great, and they have very good specials and "bo-go" offers throughout the store. Some of the meat can be very expensive (lamb, aged beef), but not always. They ran a special on sea scallops a month or so ago, they were excellent. They now carry Bell & Evans chicken, which is outstanding. The employees are always willing to help us find something, and there are often tasting stations with samples throughout the store. The wine shop is convenient, and while not as extensive as some, they have a good selection of affordable wines and craft beers. read more

Completely unimpressed with the bakery's ability to decorate a cake. We discussed stars that looked like the first picture...compared to what we got, it was completely off. This is my favorite company, and Lunds Plymouth is my favorite store. The people are amazing and it's just a great environment to be in.

I shop at this store at least two times a week, sometimes more. I spend a ton of money here. This morning, I called to ask if they had a few extra boxes for me to use to bring some dishware to Goodwill. During the first call, I was sent to "Produce." After 15 rings, someone picked up the phone then immediately placed it on hold for several minutes. I hung up and experienced the same thing again. I called a third time and was transferred to a manager. She said she would check with "Produce," After about 30 seconds, I was disconnected. On my fourth call, I was again transferred to a manager who said "Wine & Spirits" has some boxes, and transferred me to that department. I spoke with someone in that area who said "I have a few I can spare," in an annoyed, affected tone, as though I were homeless and begging for a free sandwich. If I wasn't a regular shopper, I would definitely be put off by the experience. As a regular shopper, it's clear that they aren't interested in keeping my business. There's a great, new Thyme store that just opened across the street. I'm seriously considering making a switch. Or maybe even using the Byerly's at Ridgedale. When you charge premium prices, attitude and service matter even more. I get that I was asking for a favor, but I've experienced better service at a lemonade stand. read more
