This used to be a great place to get Pizza, and many other dishes. In the past couple of months, since the new ownership, we have tried it two tines. Each time, it was disappointing. I doubt we will use it again, but will go further afield.there is too much competition in CT to put up with this. read more

I'm visiting my family in Connecticut. This is the best place we've eaten at! The food was so good that I think I'd fly from Seattle again just for it! I had French Onion soup, perhaps the best bowl I've had, and I split a grilled vegetable sandwich that was a delight. Rosa, our server was incredibly personable while maintaining professionalism. She was extremely accommodating to our grandson who is 16 mos. She brought him his grilled cheese first as she could tell he was a hungry toddler. Rosa kept an upbeat, friendly demeanor and she definitely gives not only the restaurant, but also your state a good reputation. I highly recommend that you eat here often. read more

The steak or carnitas tacos are to die for I can't say enough good things about them. Everything else including the pizza is top-notch. And a full bar to boot! A special favorite is the chocolate chip cookies! An unexpected gem in the middle of nowhere. Plus great ice cream! Take out and delivery are great COVID-safe options. read more

We are new in the area, but we love this place so far! Great food and friendly stuff! Salads and salmon are my favorite so far! Highly recommend this spot! Five stars!!! read more

When they first reopened (this is the 3rd iteration in 30 years?) it was great. Now, about 5 years later, the place has changed. Just declutter, clean up, and allow the market to provide what Peter's provided: Coffee. Bagels. Sandwiches. Between the clutter and the Market actions it's just sore. ownership needs to make changes to bring the community back. read more

The lunch box is a cozy, casual, friendly dining restaurant with excellent food. I'm constantly amazed at the quality of the food for the price. My latest faves are the pizza, chicken wings, and their french toast is delicious. For a place that offers such a wide range they do it all right. My dad had a scallop salad the other day and they were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. I've had many a mediocre fish meal at fancier restaurants. Still recommend the avocado blt, the cheese steak and anything on the breakfast menu. read more

Lunch Box - Pizza Near Me - Weston, Connecticut

Came for lunch instead of the usual outstanding breakfast. I had one of the BEST bacon lettuce and tomato with avocado EVA!!!! The challah bread was toasted and soft. So tasty. The tobacco onion ring were amazing. Cole slaw was also spectacular. Why are you not eating here now?!?? read more

Small place. We were disappointed to find out you couldn't order breakfast at 10:45. Not certain what times they stop serving on other days but this was a Saturday. Service was ok. Staff was too busy to be friendly. I ordered a fried chicken plate. It came out steaming hot. It was juicy but needed seasoning in the crust and meat. The plate came with slaw (tasteless but fresh) and delicious French fries. Not frozen for certain. Man friend got the pork belly Reuben..he said it was greasy but to me, shouldn't it be. I mean, PORK BELLY..how could it not be? He ordered onion straws for $1.00 more than fries. The flavor was good but became soggy shortly after they sat down. He also got the slaw for additional $3.00 which we discussed was bland and tasteless. I seen children with ice cream scoops but didn't have any myself. Not much room for children in there but it would be packed at 30 people tops. Total bill with tip $40 read more

Every time I order the grilled chicken sandwich, which is on the menu, they substitute breaded chicken cutlet. I'm sick of getting the wrong food. read more

First off let me start with what diner/deli does not serve lunch until 11 I went in for a breakfast sandwich and lunch and was told they couldn't make my lunch until after 11. All I asked for was a ham and cheese sandwich which is deli meat. Also they are very expensive. I do not understand why are you can't make lunch for workers when they can only make one stop a day for food. Do not use this place read more

Had wings there for lunch, they were Terrible, tasted boiled and were wet like they just came out of water with some sauce on them. Caesar salad chicken, chicken was cold and didn't taste fresh. read more

Love the kale salad ... I always add salmon for protein. Love the vibe. Friendly staff. My family also likes the pizza from the LB. They also offer cocktails. Great go-to place after concerts and sports events. read more

When I was eating a muffin. I saw something that was black. I had a blueberry muffin thinking it was a burnt blueberry. Come to find out it was a disgusting roach. I will never eat at this place again absolutely disgusting. read more

This is definitely my favorite eat out lunch/dinner spot. The food is always fresh, prepared to perfection and served quickly. The staff is super friendly and helpful. You won't be disappointed if you decide to check it out! read more

I came here because i was in the area and it had good reviews on yelp. Well, yelp wasn't wrong. I had ordered a tuna melt ala carte and it was delicious. I substituted mayo for their house aioli which is super flavorful (loved it) and the tomato for onion (super fresh) and then i added bacon (cooked great, crunchy and flavorful). Overall that wrap was awesome. It was exactly what you would expect from a sandwich shop. I ordered some fries on the side and the sweet potato fries were awesome i loved it! The prices were good. Not cheap but not super expensive. The staff was great. If im in the area again ill come back for sure. Food-4.5 Environment-5 super clean Staff-4 very friendly. read more

We had dinner at the Lunch Box this past weekend and it was delicious! I had the pizza salad, my husband the wings and the kids had the burger and chicken tenders. Everything was wonderful! The service was also great. We would return for sure! read more

Defiantly a great upgrade from the old Lunch Box. Services is good and menu has the potential to awesome if the kitchen executed a little better. Burger is good but meat needs to be seasoned properly. Seems like good quality beef. Fish taco were average. Fried chicken was quite greasy, oil might need to be hotter. Fries also need to be crispier and seasoned. Again over all a great upgrade and a really nice menu, just need to kick it up a notch in the kitchen. One big issue that has prevented me from going back more often is that most of the tables are 2 tops. Place is small and there are very few 4 tops. Would be a great place for family but never seems to be space. Weston needs something like this. There is NO food out here. I hope the restaurant does well. read more

We stopped off for breakfast this morning. The service was fun and knowledgable. The place looks great. I have no reason to believe that the lunch and dinner isn't excellent. WiFi is available. We are looking forward too exploring their. Menue. This may become our new place. read more

So good I invited all my friends to come to lunchbox with me.They loved it.

This is a convenient local place. The decor is bright and friendly even thought the restaurant is small. Their food is consistently good though the service is always slow. When they get busy either expect to wait a loooong time or just get up and leave. They have tasty salads and specials you wouldn't expect for a local joint. If the service were a little better this would be a great place meriting 4 stars. read more

Ordered pizza but wanted made to order They were happy to accommodate my request with different toppings and cheeses. It was delivered to my home and it was one of the best I've ever had. Delivery was fast and efficient and the driver was super nice and friendly. The Lunchbox gets 5 stars all around for great food, helpful staff and awesome delivery. read more

Great place... so much better than its predecessor. The staff is TERRIFIC. The white wine comes out of a pump and it is warm and fizzy... but somehow it doesn't matter. Burgers are fine, fries are fine, fish tacos are good. Salads very good. read more

Food was less than average. Had a Reuben sandwich that SHOULD have been made with corned beef but instead was made with unflavored fat-filled pork belly. Just horrid. Another time I had an average calzone. I won't eat here again. read more

Food is decent, especially the pizza but you better be prepared to wait a Loooooooong time. One waitress for all tables and this isn't the first time. Maira literally busts her butt taking orders, busing tables, you name it. absolutely no reason to have only one waitress. For the only restaurant in town it's extremely sad. read more

I'm not a yelper, but I'm hoping this review will help get The Lunch Box back on track. While the restaurant has had its ups and downs, we've had too many sub par meals here over the past 6 months to say PLEASE pay more attention. We want you to succeed! While I appreciate that the management is mostly responsive when food is brought out and it's burned, raw or somehow inedible, that's not always the case. In the past 6 months we've had pizza burned 3 times, a raw burger, way overdressed salad, gummy wings and sadly we saw that while shaking a drink the bartender broke the top glass and then served the drink to us anyway. Going out for dinner isn't cheap. But it becomes very expensive when the food is bad. We don't have any other restaurants here in Weston but I'm afraid we're going to have to pass on our local place for a while in hopes it can step up the quality. Please do so - I would love to return in 6 months to a place with GREAT food where the chef/staff care. read more

The new Lunch Box is a million times better than the old. Place is clean and has been remodeled to be trendy and comfortable. The food is fabulous. Has a nice selection for a variety of tastes. The matzah ball soup tastes like homemade. The portobello fries are wickedly delicious. And we have also found our new favorite pizza place. Love it!! read more

Rude owner. Food average. Would never eat there or recommend. When you need them they aren't helpful. Town is small but these owners think they are Le Bernadine. read more

One of my family's favorite restaurants and a Connecticut treasure. Awesome breakfast options and delicious lunch. I will not eat salmon anywhere else! So fresh and clean! Pizza and burgers are great as well has Latin dishes and specials. Love it. read more

This is the only game in town and not a good one. Keep your foot on the accelerator until you get to Westport. The food is very inconsistent and overpriced. A kale salad one day may be delicious but four days later, old wrinkled up kale leaves underneath the top layer, dressing unevenly mixed in with dry areas -- for $10. The quality of the food is questionable always. There should be some oversight of consistency of quality. read more

I stopped by this adorable restaurant on a busy Saturday morning for breakfast during a recent weekend trip to Connecticut from NYC with a friend. We were seated right away. Ambiance was great, all of the servers were helpful and friendly, and our food was perfect. The homefries were delicious! We had no complaints. Only wish I had taken a minute to take a photo of our meals! We were craving it again the next day... read more

Mediocre food, service, and ambiance. There are better options with friendlier service elsewhere.

Excellent! Service is super friendly every time. Breakfast, lunch or dinner you are guaranteed friendly service, delicious consistent food and great prices. Love this place! read more

They're trying really hard and I can see that, because they're very nice and I thought the service was good. So I didn't give 2 stars, but there are some things that need fixing. For starters, in my opinion, the place should be cleaner. It's not filthy (although I haven't seen their bathroom), but I like places where I eat to be really clean. We've been there a few times and the food is good in some respects, but kind of basic and I don't get a feeling of quality like I have in another sandwich shop that is just as close to my house. I would suggest that they use more fresh herbs and nice fresh fruits to jazz things up a bit. read more

Bar none this is the best place in the area if not in a larger scopetheir pizza is awesome their sandwiches are awesome the prices are reasonable the service is amazing they're very friendly they go out of their way and they're very accommodating wonderful place highly recommended five stars don't even think twice read more

We had a great experience! Very family friendly--we have a 2 yo girl (crazy) and a 5 yo boy (acts better than her, but still 5). We stopped in for lunch and were delighted to find the most family friendly spot I think we have even been. There is a chalkboard wall!! I have literally never been anywhere that has 6 high-chairs on hand!! The staff was amazing. There was a wait for a table but they were courteous, realistic, yet swift to get us seated. Upon being seated the kiddos got lunch boxes with crayons and a coloring sheet to decorate their own lunch box, opposite side was the menu! Genius! The food was delicious. Notable was the Philly Cheesesteak! It was sliced thin and served on Wave Hill bread. We even had a chance to speak with the owner/chef and he was lovely. Thanked him for a lovely meal. Beer, wine, and cocktails available? Yup! Even the music playing was a great! We are not local, but have local connections....if we were local this would definitely be a spot we frequented!! read more

The food here has been vastly improved in the last two years. We live in town and generally want to stop here because we know the food will be good. One problem however is the music is loud and obnoxious and it drives us away. Many times we are nearby at the library and want to stop in for lunch but we remember how loud the music is and disruptive, s and we wind up driving into Westport for lunch. 8-15-18: It seems the mind-numbing dumb music has been at least turned down and not so obnoxious. read more

Having just moved into Weston, I've eaten here at least 6-8 times in the last month or two. Each time has been an enjoyable and tasteful experience! I like the food and enjoy the atmosphere. The wait staff done a pretty good job despite (at times) being seemingly overwhelmed. This place (the only in town) gets busy! But they handle it well! Happy to have it so close to home! Chicken parm is decent, penne a la vodka with chicken was good, pizza is okay, soups and salads are very good! Kids love the ice cream! read more

Great little restaurant! Awesome food selection and decor. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. I found lots of vegetarian options, and was impressed by all of the different types of items on the menu. read more

This is for sure better than the old lunch box. The iced coffee is delicious. I was really disappointed with my pizza however. I ordered a chicken pizza with onions and peppers on it. The chefs had clearly added the vegetables onto the pizza after sending the pizza into the oven, and then sending it in for a few minutes afterwards. The result was essentially a terribly dry chicken pizza, with basically raw vegetables on it. It was really bad. read more
