Servis was slow on a Sunday afternoon when it wasn't that busy. We ate outside on the patio if that there were no umbrellas and it was a hot day, so we had to ask for an umbrella. When I went to order their drinks, special coconut mojito. They were out of mint. So that was disappointing so I had a coconut drink. The food was really subpar. The food here is consistently good. My husband had a club sandwich that he said was one of the best clubs he's ever had. I ordered the cod fish & chips. They raised our prices - didn't tell us (and menu did not reflect it) and we ended up having to pay the increased prices (as if their prices were not high enough already). Ordered the Happy Hour sliders. The beef was raw (not rare - looked just like what you see packaged in a grocery store). We did not specify how we wanted it cooked but did not expect raw. So, we had 2 well drinks (happy hour), 1 beer and a happy hour sliders for almost $40. Think that we will stick with restaurants that are not trying to take advantage of their customers. Food is way over salted and overpriced especially for the low quality. Service is sub par to the point the person servicing was too busy socializing instead of servicing. She left my water infilled for 15 min and trying to get her attention was awkward due her talking about football and Amazon shopping with people (friends?) at the bar. We were excited for the appetizer menu. We also ordered a couple of drinks (We got it as take out - very easy online ordering. ) They have great choices, but they are expensive! We tried... Calamari - crispy with fried jalapenos, good sauce provided. Adequate appetizer staple. Small portion for $14. Crispy cauliflower - very lightly battered, crispy outside and the cauliflower was still a good firm texture. Good accompanying sauce. Truffle fries - for sure our favorite. Crispy fries with not too much truffle and parmesean. We liked the siracha aioli that came with it. Veggie sliders - we loved that they had a vegetarian option. You only get 2 sliders and a pickle. The veggie patty was good - like a falafel. Not sure what the topping was... Clam chowder - adequate. More soupy than chowdery. The vegetables and clams were finely chopped in the soup. It was decent, nothinf to write home about. French Onion Soup - beef broth, salty. It was a french onion soup. The drinks were another story - expensive for what you get; the huckleberry cosmo was good, but it was $13. Do NOT order the Lunas 75 cocktail. What a disappointment for $13. It was such a small sized beverage (I'll post a photo). It was supposed to be gin, strawberries, lemon, simple syrup, and champagne. Spunds good, right? Yuck! They didn't put the champagne in and it does NOT taste like strawberry. Super sad about this drink. What a waste of money. I ordered online but they wouldn't honor the $2 off appetizers, even though it is not written anywhere that it's for dine-in only. Cool interior ambiance though - 2 floors and outside dining. Was hoping this would be a good review. Decided to come in on friday. Was highly disappointed. Had a server name Lili. Service was awful. Could tell she was agitated and stressed out. We were waiting for a long time. She kept talking about her body odor and about her passing gas to us and other customers. My husband and I found it highly inappropriate and disgusting to be discussing these issues. Used to come in to see certain girls but the new ones are not enjoyable enough to return. just be doing take out from here on out since we enjoy the food, but we don't want to se her again. read more

Luna's is a great place to stop on your way to/from a movie at the Barkley Cinemas. They recently revised their menu to be more of a "small plates" offering, which I personally appreciate. The menu is organized by price, so if you don't have a lot to spend you can still order something yummy depending on your budget. I got the fried cauliflower (which also happens to be gluten free) and it was crispy and delicious. Added a pint of good craft beer and I got out of there for $10 plus tip - not a bad deal at all! They also have larger entrees if you want an entire dinner. The atmosphere is very intimate yet casual - would be great for a date night. The service was very friendly and inviting. I also noticed they started having family specials on Sundays, which is a GREAT idea considering a movie with the kids is a great family outing (especially during our not-so-sunny winter months). read more

I had dinner here last night for the first time! Overall it was a good experience but please, if anything, read the cons at the end. We chose this place because of the wide variety of choices they have- salads, burgers, apps, pizza, entrees, and a full bar. You can really make your night here- get a cocktail, have a lighter dinner or go all out, spend some extra cash and get a steak or other plate. They have daily specials and all day happy hour on Sundays! We each got a salad- I got the house salad with chicken and my friend got a bruschetta salad and we split an order of truffle fries. We both loved our salads and the truffle fries tasted just the way they were described. I thought our waitress was very kind and helpful and the ambiance of the resturant was pleasant, cheerful and light. The downfalls were these- the ladies' restroom was dirty and there is no "close" parking as this resturant shares a parking lot with the movie theater. Also, my friend was charged 25 cents for a side of ranch dressing to go with her fries. This little charge felt completely silly. I thought only fast food like McDonald's and Dominos charged for a side of dip. Because this place is in the moderate pricing range it felt out of place, tacky and pretty stingy on their part, especially since we paid good amounts for our food. We love Lydia, our server always. Prime rib night has promoted Luna's to a solid three stars. The meat was cooked perfectly to order. The horseradish sauce was tasty. The baked potato was perfectly baked. My only complaint: the au jus was flavored very heavily with rosemary, which is just not my thing for beef. The bruschetta was really good too. I would say do not come here for burgers or sandwiches. Try the real food. Service is quick, efficient, and super nice. They easily sit groups of 2-4 and have a larger round table that does six. Went for lunch today at Luna's Bistro. With 1 person working as hostess, bartender and server for 6-7 tables it was a bit much. She was very pleasant, however, to be expected service was a bit slow. Really doesn't ake sense that you can only order from the lunch menu Mon-Fri when you want a smaller portion at lunch on a Saturday. Food quality was good as was the presentation.
