I hired Luna's Home Improvement to clear out my gutters and downspouts of leaves. Fernando and his team did an excellent job. They quickly gave me an estimate, scheduled the work promptly, communicated clearly, and did exactly what they had promised on time and within budget. Fernando is one of the friendliest guys you'll meet. He clearly loves what he does. While at the house, I asked him to look some other home improvements I am interested in making. He demonstrated his knowledge when describing how he would address those projects. I look forward to a long term relationship with Fernando and Luna's Home Improvement. read more

DO NOT USE HIM!!! He provided an estimate to replace my roof and seemed very professional. I gave him a 50% deposit. And that's when everything changed. He made excuses about truck issues and that he had undocumented employees who were afraid to work in DC. He never started the job and would not return my deposit!! He is a con man!!!! read more

Initially I contacted the contractor for a quote to power wash the siding. When they arrived they mentioned that they can replace the deck for a reasonable price. I decided to hire them based on the estimate. Bad idea. Date of completion was not kept. I was asked to provide money before the job was done. The job was 'completed' on 4/27 but the deck fell apart on 6/4 (1 month 1 week later). See pics. Since 6/4 until now 7/3 (4 weeks). I have made 4 attempts for them to fix the problem and no one has come. They do not answer calls or texts. Keep in mind that I don't have to be home for this problem to be fixed. Never again. I highly do not recommend. Now I have to pay someone else to fix the deck because I do not want to work with them. Also very awful customer service blaming the customer for not being patient. This was a very stressful process and it didn't need to be. read more

Luna's Home Improvement has a super fast response time in not only responding to our service request but also coming out and completing the job! The recent wind blew our siding off so my husband reached out to Luna's and they came out the next day to fix it! Their price was fair, and there was clear communication throughout the process. They even tried to go to 2 different stores to find a matching siding piece, but came up short. Nevertheless, the repair looks stable, and they also gave us a 1 year warranty! I'd recommend them for any home improvement needs! read more

I really didn't want to do this but our roof ended up leaking again within a year which happens. Our initial contract had a one year warranty. When we reached out to get it inspected and fixed, they rescheduled before ghosting us. I would not recommend using this service. read more

I needed to replace my rake boards and have them painted. Used yelp to find a company for the job. Fernando responded quickly and came out to give me a quote. He was the most reasonable and very knowledgeable. I will definitely be using this company again! read more

DO NOT USE THIS GUY! He left my deck unfinished! The rails, steps and the post. Didn't attempt to finish my fire pit, just left the dirt around and furniture on my lawn. He will get his deposit and make every excuse in the world why he can't come on a certain day, also he will ask for money to either pay his guys or buy gas. The only thing I can say is DON'T DO IT!!! He's very nice but his work ethic stinks! I tried to put pics but my phone wouldn't allow it. Pics to come. The reason I gave them 1 star because they wouldn't let me choose No stars read more

Fernando and his partner were excellent. We hired them to clean our gutters, and they were not afraid of the challenging task. Fernando communicates very well, is prompt and reliable. We requested quotes for additional work, to which he responded immediately with an estimate and offered to come back in person to evaluate in detail. He is very nice and a pleasure to work with. We will definitely use Luna's Home Improvement again! read more

Fernando is a great individual! extremely honest and professional. I am really happy he knocked on my door and had a chat. I will definitely use him and his company again! I am over the moon i found this company. They put on our roof and exchanged the wood boards as asked, they used the best underlayment and did not cut corners. They also removed old insulation in our attic for an unbeatable price. Then he asked if he could help do my shed for another stellar price that i couldnt refuse. I know there company does more, i just wish i had more for them to do. great team, great communication, great prices. best in DC! read more

Unfortunately, they began a conversation about a service call but never returned followups. Not sure where there was a breakdown in communication. read more

Very responsive and did a great job! I called him in the morning and he was out within an hour. Highly recommend.

I wish I could give this review zero stars. My husband contracted this business to do a siding job for our new remodel. The job was actually the first three photos he has up on this page (black and White House). I have contacted Yelp to remove these photos. Everything started out fine but as soon as we gave him the first deposit, he stopped showing up and never completed the job. We reached to him several times through phone calls and text messages. He kept explaining he did not have the crew help to which we understood at the time. It has been months now and he has ghosted us and no longer responds. This job costed us thousands of dollars. We are pursuing further action but I wanted to warn other potential customers about this unreliable business. Stay away! read more

Fernando and team came out on short notice to evaluate our gutter issues. They diagnosed the problem using a 40' ladder in high winds (!), gave a fair estimate, and completed all work on the next day the weather would permit it to be done. Highly recommended. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. This company was hired to complete siding on my house and a smaller job inside. They started the siding job in July. It is now November. Half of my house is complete the other half is exposed to the elements. He will not return phone calls or text messages and has completely ghosted me. Inside is mostly finished, but I have wall trim for base boards, and unpainted ceiling and a messy paint job on the wall. I'm going to have to pay another company thousands to finish the job! read more

Fernando and his crew were responsive, very reasonably priced and thorough. We needed gutter guards removed and our gutters cleaned, and Fernando was informative and walked us through his observations and suggestions. He texted us photos and videos of what they found and they completed the job quickly. We are looking forward to using Luna again for a couple other exterior projects read more

I hired Fernando for gutter cleaning and siding repair. It was a small job, but Fernando was very eager and the price was right in tune for the nature of the job. When Fernando arrived with his partner, they got right to work. They discovered nesting in the downspout which was the true cause of the issues that I was having. They detached and unclogged the downspout at no additional cost. Fernando offered suggestions to avoid this happening in the future. I am very pleased and will contact Luna's for other repairs needed. read more

No Follow-up. Installed siding and gutter in Winter, 2022. They mentioned that they would come by for any follow up repair and touch up in Spring. So Spring rain came, gutter started leaking, two window trims were also leaking. They weren't very careful when installing the sidings around the window trims. texted them three times and no response. I understand that they are small company and have limited staffed. Not honoring their work is so disappointing. I almost referred them to two of friends. I am glad that I didn't. I am getting a new contractor to finish their job. I was nice enough to fronted them all the money for Christmas before job was completed. My first time dealing with contractor. Lesson learnt. read more

Luna was responsive and provided a quick turnaround time from when I reached out to schedule gutter cleaning and when they were able to get the job done. Very efficient and did an excellent job cleaning gutters. Went above and beyond and took a look at my roof upon request and provided advice on maintaining it. Would recommend and will be using Luna again and likely will try additional services. read more

100% pleased. Fernando stopped by within hours of me contacting him. He offered fast turnaround on an urgent problem (open vents that squirrels had accessed) and also agreed to paint our porch and back decks. He showed up as promised. He did the work perfectly at a competitive price. And he communicated throughout the process. He is kind, hard working, and skilled. Glad to have found him. read more

Luna and his crew are very responsive to my request. They came in on the same day and got the roof and siding repair job done in approx an hour. Everything is very well informative before doing the job. I am very impressed with their work and will use them again in the near future. Will recommend them to friends and neighbors as well. read more

I am very happy with the job that was completed by Fernando and his crew. Fernando was professional, always courteous and completely responsive to my concerns. My new roof looks fantastic and was installed in less time than originally estimated. I especially liked that Fernando took the time to explain the details of the installation and the materials used. I would absolutely hire this company for future work on my home. read more

Luna's replaced our rowhouse gutters at a really reasonable rate and a short timeline -- less than a week.

Does not follow his promises. Says he will pay you for jobs/material and never does. Talks behinds people's back without knowing the consequences. People would not know this until they work with this Fernando Luna read more

My initial reviews stands. However, I asked him to come out and look at gutters that weren't draining. He gave multiple dates/times he said he'd swing by but never followed through with any of them. He hasn't responded to my last message to hmm. It's not a money issue. He said he'd come by and any other trips would have a fee. I told him I appreciate it. Unfortunately he never followed through. read more
