    If I could give this business a 0 star I would! I have wasted so much time and money trying to work with this business over a year and a half. I should have known from all the 5 stars review and they were all about alterations and not dress making. For brides who are looking for a custom-made wedding dress, please be aware and finish reading my story, a true wedding dress nightmare! First of all, all my bridesmaids dresses were messed up so badly. They were ended up in different shops for alterations! This lady claimed she was a seamstress; however, I truly question her credential! She used the cheapest possible NON-STRETCH fabric for lining on all of my bridesmaid dresses. The measurement was so off that it was not fixable. She told an 11 years old (my junior bridesmaid) that her boobs had grown in the course of 3 months, and...that was why her dress wouldn't zip...Several shops have turned us down, refused to fix the dresses because they either did not think it was alterable, or just simply disgusted by the work.  Now, let's talk about my Bridal dress. Words can't possibly describe the horror I went through. Please see pictures of my requested look and the many trial and errors I got from this place.  Up to 2 weeks before my wedding, my dress was still not completed. This lady has canceled my appointments many times ON THE DAY OF the appointment. The last cancellation was when I showed up at the shop. She whispered to my bridesmaids she did not finish with my dress, and not ME....... Her excuses for not finish my dress on time was because " I WAS TOO PICKY"! and "I KEPT CHANGING MY MIND". First of all, my mind was never changed, and if I wasn't picky I wouldn't find someone to custom-made my dress... She absolutely has no clue in customer service, and did not practice the saying "customer is always right"; instead she did the opposite of accusing me changing my mind, changing my appointments, and many more. She also tried to force her left-over fabric on me and advertised it as a "beautiful" color for my bridesmaid dress!!! That's not all. Two weeks before my wedding, she told me I could no longer pick up my dress, which I paid in full for! Because I request alternation on one of the bridesmaid dress at no cost, or a full refund. This particular bridesmaids dress was not fixable, and turned down by multiple shops (please see pictures). At first, she refused to give me a refund, claimed that "no refund in our contract". We signed NO CONTRACT. Then, she offered $100 refund... The dress costs $160.. What would I do with a $100 and an ugly dress???!!!! When I did not agree with the resolution she suggested, she told me I could no longer pick up my wedding dress, and need to return all dresses to get a full refund!  She started to SHAKE!! Yes SHAKE!! and said I was abusing her and how she was an OLD lady.....Well.. as you could imagine, my next move was ......to take my unfished dress and left because I PAID FOR EVERYTHING IN FULL (big mistake, never do that!) and my wedding was in 2 weeks. I just wanted to be done with her...She then told me "I KNOW WHERE YOU WORK!!!" . Guess what!!! After threatened me, she called the COP on me and accused me of STEALING the dress (which I paid for)! Shortly after, the cop showed up, I showed her the transactions of payments since the lady never provided a receipt. After the first proof of transaction, she whispered under her breath that I already paid in full.  The cop then had NO IDEA if I paid for my dress in full, what were we all doing there?! Needless to say, I left and never intended to come back. This lady also share with me that there was another girl wanted my dress and she would be making it...So whoever you are, I wish you the best of luck. PAY WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD so you can file for dispute!! She started to request for VENMO and ZELLE in the past 4 months. I am really questioning the legitimacy of her business and all these 5 stars reviews.

    Horrible! Ruined my wedding dresss and gave no menu back! I had to buy a new dress two weeks before my wedding.

The dress fit perfectly afterward and they completed it within a week, earlier than the pickup date I had asked for. The main issue for me was the organization during pickup. I received a text saying my dress was ready, but when I arrived they brought out a completely different piece of clothing even after I clearly described my dress. Turns out they had mixed up the name tags between my dress and someone else's. I ended up going to the back with them and immediately spotted my dress myself. I pointed it out and they asked if I was sure it was mine, which was a little strange. Then they asked me to try it on. At first I thought they just wanted to confirm the alterations looked right, but it turned out they wanted to see if it fit me to determine whether it was actually my dress. Thankfully it fit like a glove. Even after that, they still seemed unsure so I showed Yelp messages I had previously sent with photos of the dress, along with my receipt and even how much I paid. I usually throw receipts away, so thank goodness I still had it. After confirming in multiple different ways, they finally let me take my dress home. Another woman was also there picking up clothing after receiving a text notification and they were struggling to locate her item too, so it didn't seem like an isolated issue. Overall, I think the tailoring work itself is solid, but the shop felt pretty disorganized. The guy working there did apologize before I left, which I appreciated, but the whole process of having to repeatedly prove the dress was mine was definitely frustrating.

However, my experience varied greatly depending on the staff member, and my final appointment brought my rating down a star. Positives first: the woman who helped me during my second and third visits was amazing--kind, encouraging, and truly made the experience special. She complimented my dress and shoes, asked about my wedding, took photos for me, and I even saw her sweeping to keep the fitting room space clean. She also carefully explained the bustle. Unfortunately, my final visit to pick up the dress was frustrating. There was confusion locating my dress, and while it was eventually found using my receipt, it was stressful. When trying it on, the bustle initially looked incorrect, and I had to reference photos from a prior visit to help fix it. I was also accidentally pinched while the detachable bow was being attached, and it was initially placed incorrectly. The dressing room also was not swept and seeing dark hairs on the floor and pins from a prior customer was unsettling. When I asked for guidance on storing the dress in the garment bag (which I had paid to have steamed), I was given no assistance. Additionally, my dress was placed in a fitting room that was used by another customer while I was paying, which felt unprofessional. At checkout, I felt rushed to leave while waiting for my Uber, and there was no acknowledgment or well-wishes when I left, which was disappointing given the significance of the purchase. The alterations themselves were well done--taken in at the sides, straps adjusted, bust tightened, hemmed, and steamed--for $700, which matched the original quote and seemed reasonable compared to other shops. Overall, it was great alteration work and there was definitely one standout employee. But the inconsistent customer service--especially during my final visit--impacted my experience.
