First, the quality of my dress was insane. All my other recently married friends (except for the one who also got her dress there) agreed. You truly can tell the difference in the pictures. My dress did not crinkle or look stiff at any point throughout the whole day. Plus, it fit perfectly. Victoria spent all the time with me that I needed to ensure that I bought the right bra, selected the right jewelry and veil for the dress, etc. There is simply no way you would get this level of service at any other bridal shop. This was truly a custom experience and the price was so close to what I would have paid anywhere else after alterations. I picked the pattern, fit, shade, etc. and Victoria sewed it all together to the shape of my body jut perfectly. She recommended that I bend my knees now and then and pinned quickly so I wouldn't have to stand for a long time. I told her my concerns like straps needed to be taken in, back lace needed to be taken in, a "naked" section required more appliqué, add bustle, hem bottom (she had to cut the bottom off and then sew it back on to maintain the look), etc. Anna, in all of her expertise, had helpful suggestions and found another section in my dress that was missing some design. My dress was a ball gown style and 6 layers so alterations required a lot of time and care! I only required 2 fittings total and my alterations took about 2 months. I just picked up my dress today and was wowed by the quality of them - my dress fits perfectly now! The bustle is also subtle but effective. I LOVE my dress even more now! FYI when coming for your second fitting, you're only allowed to bring one other person. Anna takes checks or Zelle for payment. Also when you come for a fitting, make sure to bring the shoes you're wearing each time to make sure things fit exactly as they need to. Please don't forget to tip! I arrived to my first scheduled appointment the team was not aware of my arrangement. Every subsequent appointment was met with a different staff member who was not familiar with my dress. Previously discussed alterations were not completed or were completed incorrectly. Staff would tell me conflicting recommendations, then assure me everything would be perfected in "quality control" which never happened. Staff were not equipped to properly complete alterations for my couture wedding gown. The studio and space was filthy. My dress became so dirty with dirt and hair. It appeared that an animal with black fur slept on my gown. I could tell there were watermarks from what I assume is attempted stain removal that was not disclosed to me. The staff members left fingerprints on my gown. They did not wear gloves or handle it with care. The alterations were insufficient and done poorly. They were not able to properly taken the corset of my dress in. They just added large bra cups and told me to use bra tape. The bustle was completed incorrectly with a few flimsy hooks that would not have stood wearing my dress all night. I had to pressure the team to rush my dress to be "finished" on time enough for me to take my dress to another salon where I was charged thousands of dollars to fully clean the dress and also complete rushed alterations. My dress was not ready until the day before my wedding, which was extremely stressful and traumatic. Once again, I would not recommend having bridal alteration at this shop to my worst enemy. It is incomprehensible that this team was going to send me down the aisle with a filthy dress with a bustle that was falling apart and a corset that did not fit me properly. This was the experience of a nightmare that caused me and my family many sleepless nights and lots of tears. They not only wasted precious time, but it ended up being very expensive to correct a damage that was done on the salon's behalf on one of the most important days of my life.

I was a fan of hers already simply because I like her in Talk, so when it came time to needing my wedding dress hemmed and possibly taken in, Brandie was my first and only choice. One thing I like about Brandie is that she's just as big of a cat person as I am (we have 4), so we had something to chat about immediately. She's incredibly nice and very personable, and a fantastic seamstress. I only had a hem done, but I got to check out a lot of the other work she's done or is doing now while I was there. Pretty neat. If you check out her Yelp profile (Brandie T), you can see some of the other neat work she's done. I fully intend to go back to her whenever I need something done, and while she's fairly far from me via the el (45 mins vs. 12 driving, but I have no car), I have no problem making the trip.
