I realize that I did cancel twice before. But hear me out. When I cancelled the first time I had just been engaged and my family had made plans. The second time I cancelled I had to cover for someone at work and the same thing happened to me this week, Murphy's law because this is not usually the case. The secretary both times (of course I felt bad and I was very apologetic) told me it was no problem. I received a call back from Dr. Pavel herself AFTER rescheulding. She says "Hi Brianna this is Dr. Pavel" I said "Hi Pavel" she says snarly while laughing "its DOCTOR." Thank you I know, I'm at my desk and don't like my office to know I'm on the phone for a personal call. She continues, "I don't know if you were told but we have a no show policy." I thought to myself, no I wasn't told... "You have the most desired time slots, in the evening (the second meeting was Friday morning at 9:00am but yes the other two were evening and again, no I wasn't told). I can ignore the first time but unfortunately I cannot take you, please see someone else." HOLY goodness. Very aggressive. No one told me about this no-show policy and quite frankly this was very abrupt. Doesn't seem like this facility has much doctor to patient personal connection/care. In other terms seems like they have a serious ego problem. They don't seem to have trouble getting client so they'll drop you. What a joke. They have all the bells and whistles on a webpage and you get a login checking your appointment times and yada...yada... Big deal! If the place doesn't care about the patient what good is it? I'm supposed to trust this place with the birth of my children in the future? I think not. I'd rather have a compassionate Dr and facility that wants to work with me and wants new patients and still does their books old school. I wouldn't go to her, she seems like she has an attitude. She should of asked if I was made aware of her no-show policy, or made sure I was aware of it the first time or maybe while booking even! Very surprised as I was excited to go here. I'll be making the trip to Englewood to my old doctor and I'll forget about relocating due to moving more towards Wayne. If you're at a doctor you like, don't switch. read more
